Check YouTube live-stream eligibility
YouTube Help says live streaming requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days, and streamers must meet its minimum age requirement of 16. Check YouTube’s current live-streaming eligibility guidance before you begin, since platform rules can change. YouTube lists encoder streaming as an option for computer-based setups.

Confirm rights for every part of each story
Being in Marathi, traditional, available online, or already uploaded by someone else does not by itself mean a story is free to rebroadcast. Confirm that you have permission for the text or adaptation, narration or recording, illustrations or video, and music, as applicable. Rights may differ by territory and permitted use; do not assume a permission to publish a recording also covers continuous live streaming.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches. If it detects material, it may replace the feed with a placeholder, interrupt it, or terminate the stream. If you have a licence, ask the rights holder whether your channel must be added to its Content ID allowlist. See YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams.

Decide whether the content is Made for Kids
Set the audience according to the actual intended audience and content, not according to whether you want chat or comments. YouTube says that when a channel or live stream is set as Made for Kids, features including live chat and chat replay, comments on live archives and upcoming streams, and reminder notifications are disabled or restricted. Personalized ads are disabled, though contextual ads may be shown. Review YouTube’s Made for Kids feature guidance and make the appropriate audience designation in Studio.
Set up a continuous prerecorded story feed
1. Prepare a playback source
Arrange the stories in the order you want viewers to hear them, and make sure the playback source can repeat the sequence. Check that video and audio play correctly at the intended level and that the end of the sequence returns cleanly to the beginning. The exact playback controls depend on the software you choose; the sources here do not establish a particular player, encoder, bitrate, resolution, or PC specification as suitable for every setup.

2. Enable live streaming and create a broadcast
In YouTube Studio, use the live-streaming workflow to create or schedule a broadcast, then select the encoder workflow and connect your encoder using the stream details shown in Studio. Keep the stream key private: anyone who obtains it may be able to send video to your channel. If you create broadcasts through YouTube’s Live Streaming API instead, a broadcast event requires a title, scheduled start time, and privacy status; the API also exposes a self-declared Made for Kids setting. The scheduled start time must be in the future and close enough to schedule reliably. Refer to the broadcast insert reference for API-specific requirements.
3. Connect the encoder and test before going public
Enter the stream details from YouTube Studio in your encoder, start the story playback, and check the incoming preview and audio in Studio. Test privately or unlisted first: verify that the picture and sound loop as intended and that the encoder remains connected. This test is a practical precaution, not a YouTube eligibility requirement. Once the feed behaves as expected and the audience and privacy settings are correct, start the public broadcast.

4. Keep the PC and connection running
For a home-PC stream, playback and encoding must continue on the computer, and the computer needs power and an internet connection for the broadcast to remain live. Monitor YouTube Studio and the encoder during the stream, particularly after a network or power interruption. The available platform guidance does not establish a specific PC, bandwidth, bitrate, keyframe interval, backup power setup, or uninterrupted-operation guarantee for your circumstances; those depend on the media, encoder, connection, and equipment you actually use.
One continuous event or recurring broadcasts?
YouTube distinguishes the live broadcast event from the live stream feed and its settings. Google’s API guide describes configuring one stream and encoder, then binding scheduled broadcast events to that stream; only one broadcast event can be live at a time. Troubleshoot common interruptions
- The encoder cannot connect: Confirm live streaming is enabled for the channel, use the current stream details from YouTube Studio, and check that the key has not been changed or exposed. Re-enter the current key if necessary, and never publish it.
- The feed stops when the computer is unattended: Check whether the PC slept, restarted, lost power, or lost its internet connection. Adjust your own power and network settings as appropriate; no universal setting or uptime guarantee is established for every PC.
- YouTube shows a copyright notice or replaces the feed: Stop and review the notice. Check permissions for the specific text, narration, images, video, and music involved. If licensed content triggered Content ID, contact the rights holder about allowlisting your channel; do not assume a licence automatically prevents an automated interruption.
- Chat or comments are unavailable: Check the audience setting. Some features are disabled or restricted when the stream or channel is designated Made for Kids.
- The loop has a gap, silence, or unexpected ending: Test the full sequence before launch, including the transition back to the beginning, and check the playback source and encoder preview.
