To keep Hindi podcast episodes playing around the clock on YouTube, create a continuous YouTube Live stream that sends prerecorded episodes in sequence through an encoder or a cloud streaming service. You’ll need a verified, eligible channel, a visual layer for audio-only episodes, rights to every episode and embedded clip or music track, and a plan to monitor the feed. If you want a podcast listing rather than one always-on live watch page, YouTube’s RSS delivery may be a better fit where available—but it does not create a 24/7 livestream.
Choose a 24/7 livestream or podcast distribution
A continuous live feed is for the experience of one live YouTube watch page, with episodes rotating in sequence. It is not the same as publishing episodes as a podcast. YouTube’s RSS delivery for audio-first podcasts is available in select regions; YouTube can create static-art videos and distribute new episodes on YouTube and YouTube Music. RSS delivery does not create a continuous live broadcast. See YouTube’s RSS podcast delivery guidance and podcast setup guidance.
| Path | Best suited to | Presentation | Operational consideration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Continuous YouTube Live via encoder or cloud service | One always-on live experience with episodes playing in sequence | A live watch page; audio episodes need show art, a static image, an audiogram, or another visual layer | The feed needs monitoring. A stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured as an archive. |
| YouTube podcast RSS delivery | Publishing audio-first episodes as a podcast | YouTube can create static-art videos and upload new RSS episodes; availability is limited to select regions | It does not make a 24/7 live watch page, and some RSS content and details have update limitations. |
If your goal is to loop podcast episodes on YouTube as a live channel, use the encoder workflow below. A microphone is not needed to replay finished episodes; it is optional for new recordings or live commentary.
Check channel eligibility before preparing the stream
YouTube lists channel verification and no live-stream restrictions during the previous 90 days as prerequisites for livestreaming. Enabling live streaming for the first time may take up to 24 hours, so do this before your planned launch. Confirm the current eligibility details in YouTube’s livestreaming help and live-streaming restrictions guidance.

Prepare episodes and their visual feed
Arrange the episode sequence
Choose the episodes you have permission to broadcast, then arrange them in the order you want viewers to hear them. If your encoder or cloud service supports a playlist, use it to sequence the files. A static image featuring your show art can accompany audio-only episodes; an audiogram or other visual layer is another option. YouTube describes static art and audiograms as ways to present audio-first podcast material as video in its podcast documentation.
Check every episode’s rights
Before going live, confirm that you have the rights needed for the broadcast and any resulting archive for every episode, including music, sound recordings, guest material, and inserted clips. YouTube’s terms state: “The Live Content must comply with the YouTube Community Guidelines.” YouTube scans live streams for third-party content and may interrupt or terminate a stream; even licensed material may require the rights owner to allowlist your channel. Read YouTube’s terms and YouTube’s copyright guidance. Licensing rules can vary by territory, so check the permissions that apply where you and your rights holders operate.

Set up a continuous YouTube Live feed with an encoder
An encoder sends your audio-and-video feed to YouTube. It can be software or standalone hardware; dedicated hardware is not a requirement. The exact controls vary by encoder, so follow its instructions for selecting files, arranging a playlist, and setting stream output.
- Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. Create or schedule a live stream, then choose the encoder workflow. Follow YouTube’s encoder setup instructions.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key. In the Live Control Room, copy the YouTube ingest URL and key into the matching fields in your encoder. Treat the key like a password: do not publish it or share it with anyone who should not control your broadcast.
- Configure the episode feed. Select your prepared episodes or playlist and include the visual layer for audio-only content. Confirm the encoder is sending both the intended audio and video feed.
- Check network capacity and ingest. YouTube recommends testing your connection, providing enough outbound bandwidth for the chosen stream bitrate, and planning for about 20% headroom. RTMPS is YouTube’s recommended secure ingest option. Use the guidance in YouTube’s encoder settings and network and stream-health help for current settings and advice.
- Start the encoder and inspect the preview. Wait for the feed to appear in Live Control Room. Check the image, episode audio, and stream health before making the stream public or starting the live event.
- Go live and monitor the feed. Keep an eye on the live preview and audio/video quality. A continuous stream depends on the encoder, its source files, and its network connection staying available.
Plan around YouTube’s 12-hour archive limit
YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived; a longer stream may not be captured. That makes a single 24/7 session an unreliable way to produce a complete replayable recording. If you need episode-level replays, plan sessions to end before 12 hours and start another scheduled session, and keep local recordings as a backup. Check YouTube’s live-stream archive guidance for the current policy.

Troubleshoot common livestream problems
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Live streaming is unavailable in Studio | The channel may not meet the verification or restriction requirements, or first-time activation may still be pending. | Check channel verification and live-stream eligibility; if enabling live for the first time, allow up to 24 hours. |
| YouTube receives no feed | The encoder may have the wrong stream URL or key, or it may not be sending. | Compare the encoder’s URL and key fields with the current values in Live Control Room, then restart the encoder feed and check for a preview. |
| Feed is unstable or quality drops | Available outbound bandwidth may be insufficient or inconsistent. | Run a speed test, compare upload capacity with the selected bitrate, leave about 20% headroom, and check YouTube’s stream-health indicators. |
| Live stream is interrupted over music or a clip | YouTube may detect third-party content, or a rights holder may not have allowlisted the channel even where you hold a licence. | Review the affected material and your permissions; contact the rights holder about allowlisting where applicable. |
| There is no complete replay of the 24/7 run | The stream exceeded YouTube’s 12-hour archive threshold. | Do not rely on one long livestream as the archive. End planned sessions before 12 hours and preserve local recordings when you need a full copy. |
