To run Bengali children’s stories on YouTube around the clock, prepare a verified channel, produce or license every part of the programme, set the audience accurately, and send the video to YouTube through an encoder—or upload the finished videos to a cloud service that streams them for you. Decide first whether you need one continuous broadcast or dependable replays: YouTube warns that streams longer than 12 hours may not be archived and may have limited DVR.
1. Prepare the channel and choose a streaming approach
YouTube Help’s current live-streaming guidance says a channel must be verified, have no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days, and be operated by someone at least 16 years old to livestream. Enable livestreaming before your planned launch and confirm that the channel is eligible rather than discovering a restriction during setup. YouTube supports encoder streaming for produced broadcasts; its encoder guidance describes production equipment such as microphones as one possible part of that workflow.

YouTube describes live streaming as a way to interact with an audience in real time, but that general description does not apply fully to made-for-kids streams: live chat and several related features are disabled for those streams.

Choose one long broadcast or recurring sessions
- One continuous stream: this most closely matches an always-on channel, but a stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured as an automatic archive. DVR may also be limited or unavailable, so viewers might not be able to rewind through the full day.
- Sessions shorter than 12 hours: YouTube says it can automatically archive streams under 12 hours. This makes shorter sessions the more suitable choice if replays matter, although an archive should not be treated as guaranteed. YouTube recommends keeping a local recording backup either way.
Plan the schedule around the replay experience you want. A continuous feed and a useful replay are different goals; splitting the schedule into shorter sessions can improve the chance of an archive, while a local recording gives you a separate copy to retain.

Use an encoder or a cloud service
An encoder sends the produced programme to YouTube using the channel’s stream setup. That is the do-it-yourself route if you want to run the stream from your own production system. YouTube’s cited guidance does not establish a universal encoder configuration, internet speed, or hardware arrangement that guarantees uninterrupted 24/7 operation from India. Resolution, bitrate, network quality, encoder capability, and redundancy all affect what a particular setup can sustain; test your own system rather than treating an unverified number as a guarantee.
2. Produce stories you have the right to stream
The simplest rights position is to create the story, Bengali narration, illustrations, music, and recording yourself. If you use someone else’s work, obtain and document permission for every component you plan to broadcast, including the underlying story, any translation or adaptation, the narration or recording, illustrations, music, and other included material.
YouTube’s Terms require the provider to hold the necessary rights for worldwide exploitation of livestream content, including applicable music rights, and to meet relevant territorial requirements. Buying or borrowing a printed book does not, by itself, establish permission to stream it, narrate it, translate it, or adapt it. Keep the permissions and licence terms together with the production files so you can check the allowed uses and territories before going live.

- For an original story, retain drafts and production records that show how the work was made.
- For licensed material, confirm that the licence covers online livestreaming, any recording or replay, the intended territories, and the specific translation, narration, or adaptation you plan to use.
- For music and sound effects, check their rights separately; permission for a story or illustration does not automatically cover the soundtrack.
Copyright permission and monetization eligibility are separate questions. Having permission to use a work does not itself establish that a channel meets YouTube’s monetization policies.
3. Set the audience accurately
In YouTube Studio, set the intended audience for the channel or the relevant content using the available audience controls. YouTube’s made-for-kids guidance identifies children’s stories and an intent to target children as relevant factors. The creator is responsible for selecting the accurate audience classification; do not choose a general-audience setting simply to preserve features or ad options.
Consider the whole presentation: the story subject, narration, illustrations, language, and how the programme is promoted. Bengali language alone does not decide the audience, but a programme deliberately presented to children should be assessed against YouTube’s made-for-kids guidance. If your channel contains different kinds of videos, assess the relevant content rather than assuming every video has the same audience.

What changes when a livestream is made for kids
YouTube disables live chat, chat replay, Super Chat, some comments, and reminder notifications for made-for-kids streams. Personalized ads are disabled; contextual ads may still be shown. Plan viewer communication and any revenue expectations around those limits rather than building the programme around chat participation, reminders, or personalized advertising.

- Complete the channel checks. Verify the channel, confirm there are no live-streaming restrictions from the preceding 90 days, and enable livestreaming before launch. The operator must meet YouTube’s current minimum age guidance of 16.
- Prepare the programme. Assemble only original or properly cleared stories, narration, artwork, music, and other material. Decide whether the schedule will be one continuous session or a sequence of shorter sessions, and make a local recording if you need a backup copy.
- Create the YouTube live setup. Start an encoder stream in YouTube’s live-streaming workflow and use the stream details YouTube supplies to connect the encoder. Exact controls and labels can change, so follow the current YouTube Studio or Live Control Room prompts rather than relying on an old menu path.
- Connect the encoder and check the output. Use an encoder supported by YouTube and configure it for the resolution and quality your equipment and network can actually sustain. The material available here does not establish a specific bitrate, keyframe interval, resolution, or bandwidth figure that guarantees a stable stream; there is no defensible one-size-fits-all setting to copy. Check YouTube’s current encoder guidance for the chosen format and test the complete setup before committing to an around-the-clock schedule.
- Set the audience and stream details. Select the correct made-for-kids status based on the programme’s intended audience, then review the title, description, and other stream details before starting. Do not plan on live chat or personalized ads if the stream is classified as made for kids.
- Start and monitor the session. Confirm that YouTube is receiving the feed and that the intended video and audio are playing. For longer schedules, have a practical response plan for a dropped feed and retain the local recording backup if a replay matters.
- Close or rotate sessions deliberately. If you want YouTube’s stated under-12-hour archive behavior to be more useful, end the current session and start another before it exceeds 12 hours. Keep the separate recording where a replay is important, because YouTube does not promise that every long stream will be captured.
5. Make a 24/7 schedule useful, not merely continuous
Build a playlist or programme schedule that gives families a reason to return: for example, distinct stories or thoughtfully arranged episodes rather than a feed that repeats nearly identical segments. Make clear in the title and description what is playing and whether the current broadcast is a live programme or a repeated schedule of pre-recorded stories.
YouTube applies its monetization policies to livestreams and expects original, authentic material. Its clarification dated 15 July 2025 says repetitive or mass-produced content is covered by the inauthentic-content policy. A 24/7 schedule is not, by itself, evidence that a channel is eligible to earn money; simply looping interchangeable or templated material is not a reliable monetization strategy. Make each story and episode meaningfully distinct and valuable, and treat eligibility as YouTube’s decision under its current policies.

7. Troubleshoot common planning problems
The channel cannot start a livestream
Check that the channel is verified, livestreaming is enabled, and there are no restrictions within the preceding 90 days. Confirm that the person operating the stream meets YouTube’s age requirement. If a channel restriction is active, address that with YouTube rather than trying to bypass it through a different streaming setup.

The broadcast is live, but a full-day replay is missing or incomplete
A stream longer than 12 hours may not be archived, and even streams under that threshold are not a replay guarantee. Split broadcasts into sessions under 12 hours if the archive behavior matters, and keep a local recording backup.
Viewers cannot rewind through the full programme
DVR may be limited or unavailable on streams longer than 12 hours. If viewers need to revisit earlier stories during the broadcast, shorter sessions avoid relying on full-day DVR availability; a separately retained recording can support replay beyond the live session.
Chat, reminders, or Super Chat are unavailable
These are among the features YouTube disables for made-for-kids streams, along with chat replay and some comments. Review the audience classification for accuracy, but do not change it merely to restore features.

Check the rights for each component, including the underlying story, translation, narration, artwork, and music. A book purchase alone is not proof of permission to stream or adapt the work. Remove or replace material you cannot clear before broadcasting it.
A repetitive loop is not suitable for monetization
YouTube’s monetization policies apply to livestreams, and repetitive or mass-produced content may be ineligible. Improve the substance and distinctiveness of the episodes; neither a 24/7 schedule nor a licence to reuse third-party work guarantees monetization.
