Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsYou can use Streamlabs Desktop to send prerecorded audio to YouTube Live, but the exact way to make a playlist repeat depends on the version and sources available in your installed app. YouTube’s viewer-side playlist loop does not feed audio into a live broadcast. First confirm you have rights to stream every track, then configure YouTube’s encoder stream, route the audio into Streamlabs, and test the complete signal before going live.
Before you set up the stream
Check that your channel can go live
YouTube says a channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days. Its live-stream setup guidance also sets a minimum age of 16 for live streaming. Check the current requirements for your account in YouTube’s live-stream setup guidance.

Confirm the music rights cover live streaming and archiving
You are responsible for obtaining the necessary rights to use the content in your live stream and any resulting archive. Permission to play a track privately, or to use it in another format, does not by itself establish permission for a YouTube live stream or its archive. YouTube’s live-stream terms refer to music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers and other royalty participants.

#1 Best Overall
- [XLR Mic Input] One XLR microphone input interface is set on the gaming audio mixer, which is great to up your audio quality with your XLR setup. The XLR mixer is a stepping stone to upgrade your live streaming. Audio mixer offered built-in 48V phantom power which opens up more choices for mics. Directly use it with your condenser microphone but do not solve added peripherals. (NOT available for USB mic)
- [Individual Channel Control] Gaming audio mixer for one mic recording with smooth volume slider fader take your streaming recording to a whole new level with full pleasure. Four independent channels set on the DJ mixer give audio volume of the MICROPHONE, LINE IN, HEADPHONE, and LINE OUT channels individual control. Configurable on the PC audio mixer instead of just operating on your game or streaming software.
- [Mute and Monitor] The front mute and monitor buttons but not at the back, make it easier to get the audio interface use. Ability to mute audio, the audio mixer for streaming prevents background noise from damaging your live broadcast. Real-time feedback between speaking and hearing will not distract your attention, which encourage you to speak more confidently. The sturdy-built control button allow you to operate freely and easily during live streaming.
- [Sound Effects] The computer sound mixer supports four pre-recorded customized button that can be recorded and activated at the press of button to post production. 6 kinds of voice changing modes change your output style. 12 auto tune changes the tone of your voice. The podcast mixer being able to add different and fun effects is a huge bonus for your streaming or game voice.
- [Controllable Vibrant RGB] RGB button on the audio mixer DJ meets different live streaming themes. Lights on the video mixer is vibrant but not harsh on your eyes. Flowing or frozen RGB color rotation in a decent pace presents a greatly strong impression as a "light show" to your audience. Even a streaming equipment accessory will not be dull looking when video production.
Set up YouTube Live and Streamlabs Desktop
- Create an encoder stream in YouTube Live Control Room. Set up or select a live stream and obtain its stream URL and stream key in the stream settings. The key is sensitive: treat it like a credential and do not share it publicly. YouTube explains the encoder settings in its stream settings help.
- Enter the YouTube connection details in Streamlabs Desktop. Use the YouTube connection option provided by your installed version, or its custom RTMP/encoder settings if needed. Enter the stream URL and key in the corresponding fields. Labels and connection paths can vary by version; use Streamlabs’ quick-start guide for the current setup context.
- Create a scene for the radio stream. Add the visual sources you want viewers to see, such as a still image or other permitted visual. Add the audio source or sources available in your installed Streamlabs Desktop version. Its official setup material documents scenes, sources and audio-mixer checks, but does not confirm a dedicated playlist source with continuous loop controls.
- Route only the intended audio to the stream. Play a short test section and watch Streamlabs’ audio mixer. Confirm the prerecorded audio registers in the stream mix and that unrelated desktop sounds, notifications or other applications are not being captured. Monitor the output through headphones if possible.
- Verify playlist behavior in your installed version. Confirm that the chosen source can play the full playlist, repeat it as intended, and continue through track transitions. Test what happens if playback ends, the source disappears, or you switch scenes. Do not assume a YouTube playlist’s viewer-side “Loop” command creates a live audio source: YouTube’s loop instructions describe repeating content for a viewer, not routing local audio to an encoder.
- Check the Live Control Room preview before starting. Start the encoder feed and inspect the preview for both audio and video. Once the sound, scene and stream status are correct, start the live broadcast using the controls in Live Control Room. Streamlabs’ getting-started guide covers its general setup; check the current app for exact labels.
Test the stream and monitor it while live
Do a full test before scheduling or promoting a long broadcast. Check the beginning, a track transition, a scene change if you use one, and the point where the playlist is supposed to repeat. Confirm that the Live Control Room preview and the public stream have the expected audio, visuals and levels. YouTube recommends setting up in advance and monitoring the stream; its live tips and streaming tips also recommend upload capacity above the stream’s total bitrate, with 20% headroom. This is operational guidance, not a guaranteed threshold for every network.
During the broadcast, watch for copyright notices and changes in stream status. YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content. If a match remains, YouTube may replace the stream with a placeholder, interrupt it or terminate it. An archived broadcast can also receive a Content ID claim after the live stream ends. See YouTube’s copyright guidance.

What to do if the playlist or stream does not work
- YouTube receives no signal: Check that Streamlabs is using the correct stream URL and current stream key, and that the encoder is sending to the stream selected in Live Control Room. If you exposed the key, reset it before streaming again.
- The audio meter does not move: Check that the playlist is actually playing, that its source is active in the scene, and that it is routed to the output mix rather than only to local monitoring.
- Viewers hear desktop sounds: Review the audio mixer and disable or correct capture of unrelated system audio. Repeat the test before going live.
- The playlist stops or fails to repeat: Verify the repeat control and behavior in your installed Streamlabs version and test the end-of-playlist transition. The official Streamlabs material cited here does not establish a particular continuously looping playlist control. VLC’s documentation describes playlist broadcasting configuration, but does not establish a supported integration route through Streamlabs Desktop; do not treat it as a confirmed Streamlabs workaround. See VLC’s playlist broadcasting documentation.
- The stream is interrupted after starting: Check Live Control Room for copyright or stream-status notices. Resolve rights issues and, if you are licensed, contact the rights owner about Content ID allowlisting where applicable.
- The feed buffers or drops: Check your upload capacity against the stream’s total bitrate, reduce the stream load if necessary, and test again with the recommended headroom. A fast download connection does not establish that upload capacity is sufficient.
Or let it run in the cloud
If you want a YouTube channel to keep playing uploaded recordings without leaving Streamlabs or your computer running, StreamNeo is a cloud alternative: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; each slot streams your upload at its original quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, with automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. StreamNeo streams to YouTube and plays uploaded videos; it does not go live from a camera.
