You can broadcast a Bengali video playlist continuously by running a playlist-capable encoder on a server and sending its live output to YouTube with the stream URL and key from YouTube Studio. First confirm that your channel is eligible and that you have the necessary rights to every video and audio track. The encoder, playlist scheduler, and server must then be configured and monitored as one continuous workflow; YouTube does not prescribe a particular server build or playlist program.

Confirm rights for every video and sound
Use only videos and music you own or are licensed to stream on YouTube for the intended territories. YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches; detected material can replace the stream with a placeholder and interrupt or terminate it. A rights owner may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist even if you hold a license. YouTube’s live-stream terms also require the provider to have the rights needed for worldwide use of the live content, including applicable music rights. Choose a playlist and encoder setup
Understand the moving parts
The playlist system selects and orders prerecorded Bengali videos; the encoder produces and sends the continuous feed to YouTube. Some software can perform both jobs, while other setups pair a media player or scheduler with a separate encoder. Confirm the chosen software explicitly supports playlist playback, looping or scheduling, and recovery behavior before relying on it for continuous operation. YouTube’s setup guidance covers encoder connections, not a specific playlist scheduler or server configuration.

Size the server for your actual workflow
There is no universal CPU, memory, storage, operating-system, or bandwidth specification for this job. Requirements depend on whether the server decodes and re-encodes media, the source files and output resolution/bitrate, and the reliability and recording goals. Re-encoding generally places more demand on the server than passing through already compatible media, but the exact load depends on the software and settings. Estimate sustained upload capacity for the outgoing stream and leave room for operational overhead; test the selected stack under the intended load before launch.
Plan continuity and recording separately
A 24/7 broadcast needs more than a playlist that reaches the end: establish how the encoder reacts when a file is unavailable, playback stops, the process exits, or the connection drops. The restart and recovery mechanisms are specific to your software and are not prescribed by YouTube. If keeping a complete copy matters, configure a local recording and ensure there is enough storage for the intended retention period.

Create the YouTube stream and connect the encoder
- Open YouTube Studio and create a live stream. In Live Control Room, set up the stream and select an appropriate visibility for testing. YouTube distinguishes the live broadcast event from the live stream feed and its settings; the encoder sends the feed to the event.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key shown by YouTube. Enter both in the encoder’s destination or streaming settings. The key is a credential that lets the encoder connect to the intended stream, so keep it private. If it is exposed, replace or reset it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.
- Select an ingest protocol supported by your encoder. RTMP and HLS are not interchangeable configuration recipes. Choose based on the encoder’s supported output and your latency requirements; YouTube says HLS has higher latency than RTMP.
- Set the playlist’s playback behavior. Configure the intended order, whether it repeats, and what happens at a missing or unreadable file. Verify transitions and audio continuity with the actual files rather than assuming that a scheduler’s default settings will behave as needed.
- Start a private or unlisted test and check Live Control Room. Confirm that YouTube receives the feed, preview video and audio are present, and the stream is stable before changing visibility to the intended audience. YouTube recommends previewing in Live Control Room and monitoring audio and video quality.
- Move to the intended visibility and monitor operation. Keep an eye on encoder process health, source-file availability, connection status, audio/video output, and local recording if enabled. Document how to restore the stream after a process or network failure.
HLS requirements if you choose HLS ingest
These requirements apply to YouTube’s HLS ingest path; do not apply them as universal RTMP settings. Consult YouTube’s HLS ingestion guide and ensure the encoder or packaging workflow can meet them.

- Use a rolling media playlist with no more than five outstanding segments.
- Send requests over HTTPS using POST or PUT; do not add encryption beyond HTTPS.
- Send a single encoded stream with muxed audio and video over a persistent connection, using supported codecs.
YouTube describes an HLS media playlist as segments joined into a continuous, decodable stream. If your software cannot produce the required segment and playlist behavior, use an ingest path it supports instead of assuming that any media playlist is suitable for YouTube HLS ingest.

Plan around YouTube’s archive and DVR limits
YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived; streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. DVR rewind may also be limited or unavailable beyond 12 hours. An always-running event therefore should not be treated as a guaranteed complete YouTube recording. Keep a local copy if you need an archive, and decide whether shorter event sessions better suit your replay needs. See YouTube’s live-stream archive guidance.
Troubleshoot common continuity problems
- Live streaming is unavailable: verify the channel’s eligibility and activation status; first activation may still be processing for up to 24 hours, and a restriction in the previous 90 days can affect eligibility.
- YouTube receives no feed: check that the encoder is running and that its destination URL, stream key, and selected ingest protocol match the stream in YouTube Studio. Replace an exposed key and update the encoder.
- HLS ingest is rejected or unstable: check segment duration and format, byte-range use, outstanding segment count, HTTPS request method, and persistent connection against YouTube’s HLS requirements.
- The playlist stops or skips a video: check that the file exists and is readable by the server account, then review the scheduler’s end-of-file, missing-file, and loop behavior. Those settings depend on the selected software.
- Video or audio is missing or poor: inspect the source file and encoder output, then preview both in Live Control Room. Check audio routing and whether the server can sustain the chosen encoding workload.
- The stream is interrupted after a rights match: review YouTube’s notice and resolve the rights issue. A license alone may not prevent a Content ID interruption if the rights owner has not allowlisted the channel.
- The YouTube replay is incomplete or absent: check the event duration against the 12-hour archive guidance and consult your local recording, if configured.
