Prime Video has separate controls for removing a title from Continue Watching and deleting it from Watch History. Use the history control if you want to remove a movie from the list of things watched; Amazon does not promise that either action will reset recommendations or stop similar titles from appearing.
Choose the control for what you want to change

Remove a movie from Continue Watching in a browser
- Sign in to Prime Video in a web browser and open the profile where the movie appears.
- Find the Continue Watching row and select Edit above it.
- Select the X on the movie’s tile, then choose Done.
These are the browser steps Amazon staff provided. In the same forum thread, a user later reported that Edit was not visible, so the control may not appear for every viewer or interface.

Delete a title from Watch History
- In a browser, open Prime Video settings.
- Select Watch History.
- Find the movie and choose the option to delete it from the history.
Amazon staff identifies Watch History as a separate route for removing titles. The forum guidance does not establish that every app or television interface has the same setting or labels.

Before changing anything, check which profile contains the movie. If another person watched it on your profile, the title may be listed there; use the profile where it appears when following the browser steps. Amazon documents up to six profiles on an account, including the default and as many as five additional adult or Kids profiles, but the cited documentation does not promise a particular level of recommendation separation.

What these steps can—and cannot—do
The controls let you remove a Continue Watching tile or delete a listed viewing-history entry. Amazon’s guidance does not say that deleting an entry guarantees similar recommendations will disappear, specify how quickly recommendations might change, or describe a one-click recommendation reset.
Fire TV can display Prime Video recommendations on its home screen, as well as provide access through search and the Prime Video app. That documentation describes discovery and playback, not a hardware-based way to edit viewing history. Amazon Customer Service: Watch Prime Video on Your Fire TV.
