To stop prediction-market messages, first identify whether they are promotional emails, account or trading updates, push alerts, or in-app notifications. Those often have separate controls. On Kalshi, use the link in a marketing email to manage promotions and Notification settings for account-activity email. On Polymarket US, self-exclusion also stops market-event marketing and push alerts, but it restricts trading. The controls are not interchangeable across platforms.
Identify the message before changing settings
Check the sender, subject, and content to determine what kind of message you are receiving. A marketing email is not the same as a trade confirmation or security notice. Nor does turning off email necessarily disable push or in-app alerts.

- Promotional email: newsletters, product updates, recommendations, and offers. Look for an unsubscribe or preferences link in the message.
- Account-activity email: trade confirmations, settlements, transfers, price movements, or social alerts. These are generally controlled in account notification settings.
- Push or in-app alert: managed separately from email on services that offer channel-specific settings.
Before switching off a category, consider whether you still want essential activity or security messages. Marketing preferences may not control them.

Turn off Kalshi emails without disabling every alert
Change account-activity email settings
- On the web, open Menu → Settings → Notifications. Kalshi also links to the settings page from its notification help article.
- Expand the relevant category and switch off its Email option. Changes save automatically.
Kalshi separates Email, Push, and In-app channels. Turning off Email can leave the other channels enabled. Some toggles may only be available on the web, so use web settings if an option is missing in the app. Pausing push in the app affects push notifications only; it does not stop email.

Unsubscribe from marketing email
Open a Kalshi marketing email and select the unsubscribe or preferences link at the bottom. In Subscription Preferences, you can select topics and channels; listed topics include product updates, market recommendations, live market updates, newsletters, ideas, promotions, and surveys. The Unsubscribe from all option stops marketing email and marketing push, but does not turn off account-activity email. Kalshi’s help page notes that the account-activity and marketing controls are separate: “Changing one doesn’t change the other.”
If you later want marketing messages again, resubscribe through Subscription Preferences. Re-enabling account-activity email settings alone might not restore your marketing subscription. Kalshi’s privacy policy, effective September 12, 2026, also says promotional emails can be stopped through the provided unsubscribe link.

Reduce trade-email volume rather than turning it off
Kalshi documents quantity or dollar-amount thresholds for some trade emails. On the web, maker-side trade messages can also be batched into summaries at 15-minute, 1-hour, 3-hour, or 12-hour intervals. Use these options if you want fewer messages while retaining some trade updates.

Polymarket US documents a way to stop push notifications and marketing about market events through self-exclusion. It is a responsible-trading measure, not an ordinary notification preference.

- Open Account → Responsible Trading → Self-exclusion.
- Choose a duration: one month, three months, six months, one year, or permanently.
- Review the effects and confirm only if you also want the trading restriction.
While self-exclusion is active, you cannot open new positions or deposit. You can close open positions or leave them to settle, and you may withdraw available balance. The restriction takes effect upon confirmation; a fixed-term exclusion ends with automatic account reinstatement. Polymarket US says that “Push notifications and marketing about market events stop.”
The available Polymarket US information does not establish a separate routine unsubscribe procedure for marketing email or a way to disable individual push categories. These instructions apply to Polymarket US, not automatically to the separate Polymarket.com website.

Polymarket.com and Manifold: what is established

The Polymarket Help Center’s June 25, 2026 account-deletion article describes deletion, not a routine unsubscribe or notification-settings process. Deleting an account requires closing all open positions and withdrawing funds first. The profile and associated personal data are removed under the privacy policy, subject to possible legally required retention, while prior transaction history remains visible on-chain. Treat deletion as an account-closure decision, not a way to silence marketing.

For website support, Polymarket lists website chat and [email protected]; for its US app, it lists [email protected]. Ask support where the service currently exposes its email or notification controls if you cannot find them.

Manifold
Manifold company posts from 2022 said users could adjust email and in-app preferences in notification settings, including opting out of future email types. A separate 2022 post said weekly trending-market recommendations could be unsubscribed from at the bottom of the email. Those are historical pointers; the labels and paths have not been established as current in 2026. Check Manifold’s present interface before relying on those steps.
If messages continue after you unsubscribe
First classify the message again. A marketing unsubscribe may leave account-activity email enabled, while email, push, and in-app controls may each operate independently. Kalshi says password resets, email or account verification, sign-in codes, security alerts, and address-change notices may still be sent after marketing unsubscribe because they help keep the account secure.
If Kalshi account-activity emails continue after you have changed the relevant setting, its help page recommends contacting support with the email subject, the date and time received, and a screenshot of your notification settings. For other services, check the current official help page or contact that platform’s support rather than assuming another platform’s steps apply.
When you use more than one prediction market
Check each service independently. A useful comparison is whether marketing and transactional email have separate controls; whether email, push, and in-app channels are managed independently; whether individual categories can be switched off; whether thresholds or batching can reduce volume; which security messages remain; and whether a broader break option also restricts trading or account access.
