If Binance Ai Pro is placing trades, first turn off the relevant trading permissions in Ai Pro settings. Then inspect the separate AI Account for open orders and positions. Disabling permissions is not the same as cancelling existing orders or closing positions. For an immediate, account-wide shutdown, disconnecting the AI Account link cancels all open orders and closes Spot, Futures, Cross Margin and Isolated Margin positions, so use that control only after understanding its consequences.
If you mean a normal Spot order or a trading-bot order rather than Ai Pro, use the separate cancellation procedures below. Binance uses different controls for each product.

Identify what is actually trading
“Binance AI trading” can describe several different things. The current Binance product called Binance Ai Pro runs strategies in a dedicated virtual AI Account. It can execute Spot, Futures and Margin strategies and manage open positions. That AI Account is isolated from your main account and cannot withdraw to an external address. A normal Spot order, a Spot DCA bot or another automated connection has a different cancellation path.

Before tapping Cancel All or disconnecting anything, look at the product name and account shown in Binance. The following distinction prevents a routine Spot cancellation from being mistaken for an Ai Pro shutdown.

Binance’s product labels and availability can vary by jurisdiction and may change. If your screen does not match the wording here, confirm that you are in the Ai Pro, Spot or bot area before proceeding.
Stop Binance Ai Pro from trading mid-strategy
Binance’s Ai Pro FAQ says you can stop trading mid-strategy by toggling trading permissions off in settings. This is the least destructive documented control when your goal is to prevent additional AI-managed trades while you investigate what is already open.
- Open Binance Ai Pro and go to its Settings page.
- Find the trading-permission controls.
- Turn off each permission that should no longer be available. Binance lists separate controls for Futures Trading, Spot and Margin Trading, and Margin Loan, Repay and Transfer.
- Review the resulting status so that you know which permissions remain enabled.
- Check the AI Account’s open orders and positions separately; do not assume that a permission change cancelled them.
Some jurisdictions may force a permission off or prevent a change because of compliance rules. If a toggle is unavailable, record which one is locked and use the account-level controls described below rather than repeatedly submitting the same request.

How to check the AI Account’s open orders and positions
Ai Pro operates through its own AI Account, so an empty order list in your main account does not prove that the AI strategy has stopped. Binance says you can ask Ai Pro to display the account’s positions and orders, or inspect them manually through Sub Account Management.

- Open the Ai Pro order or position view and note every symbol, side, quantity and status.
- If you prefer a manual check, open Sub Account Management and select the AI Account.
- Review open orders, current positions and order history separately. A filled order will no longer appear as an open order, but it may have created or changed a position.
- Check available and locked assets before choosing a destructive action such as disconnecting the AI Account link.
- After changing permissions or ending a strategy, refresh both the order and position views and confirm that no new order appears.
The AI Account is isolated from the main account and cannot withdraw to an external address. If funds need to be moved after the AI Account is disconnected, Binance directs users to Sub Account Management → Asset Management for the remaining funds.
Deactivate Binance Ai Pro: timing matters
Deactivation and an immediate trading stop are not interchangeable. Binance applies a seven-day rule measured from the first payment.
Deactivation within seven days of the first payment
If you deactivate within the first seven days, Binance says Ai Pro immediately returns to Binance Ai without AI trading capabilities. Use the deactivation control in Ai Pro settings, then verify that the AI trading functions are no longer available and inspect the AI Account for any remaining orders or positions.
Deactivation after the seven-day window
After seven days, Binance says Ai Pro remains operational until the current paid billing period ends. At the end of that period, active strategies are terminated, open positions are closed and the AI API key is deleted. Therefore, clicking deactivate after the seven-day window is not an immediate equivalent to cancelling orders right now.
If you need Ai Pro to stop managing the AI Account during that interim period, Binance says you can delete the AI Account API key in Ai Pro settings. Treat that as a separate control from ordinary deactivation, and still inspect orders and positions manually.

Disconnect the AI Account link for an immediate, broad shutdown
Disconnecting the AI Account link has a substantially larger effect than switching off a permission. Binance says this action deletes the AI Account API key, cancels all open orders and closes positions across Spot, Futures, Cross Margin and Isolated Margin.
- First, review the AI Account’s orders, positions and balances through Ai Pro or Sub Account Management.
- In Ai Pro settings, locate the control to disconnect the AI Account link.
- Read the confirmation carefully. The action is designed to cancel orders and close positions, not to preserve them for later resumption.
- Confirm only when you accept that positions may be closed and their outcomes realized at the time of the shutdown.
- Return to Sub Account Management and verify that open orders are gone and positions have closed.
- Use Asset Management in Sub Account Management to handle any remaining funds.
Disconnecting is appropriate when you need the AI Account cut off immediately and accept the position-closing consequences. It is not the right first choice if you only want to prevent a new strategy instruction while keeping existing positions open for a separate decision.
Cancel ordinary Binance Spot open orders
The following procedure is for regular Spot orders, not Ai Pro positions, Futures orders, Margin orders or every type of bot order. Binance’s Spot instructions are documented in What Are Market Order and Limit Order, and How to Place Them.
In the Binance mobile app
- Open Trade.
- Select Spot.
- Open Open Orders.
- Tap Cancel beside the order you want to remove.
- To remove all pending orders shown in that Spot view, use Cancel All.
- Refresh the list and confirm that the order is no longer open. Use order history to check its final status if necessary.
On the Binance website
- Open the Spot trading page and locate Open Orders.
- Find the pending order.
- Click the bin icon beside it.
- Refresh the open-order list and review order history for confirmation.
Cancellation prevents an unfilled Spot order from executing, but it does not undo a trade that already filled. If the order is not listed in the ordinary Spot screen, switch to the relevant Futures, Margin, Ai Pro or bot account rather than submitting repeated cancellations in the wrong product.
Take extra care with trading-bot orders
A bot-linked order is not always an independent order. Binance’s January 2026 notice warned: “Cancellation of any order that is part of a running trading bot will result in the closure of the entire trading bot.” Apply that warning whenever the order list identifies a running bot, and do not assume that cancelling one leg merely removes that leg.

Spot DCA bots
Binance says Spot DCA bots cannot be edited or paused. They can be ended from the Running tab. Ending a Spot DCA bot closes open-order base coins and sells them automatically at market. That can produce a different asset balance and execution price from a limit-order cancellation.
- Open the Spot DCA bot area and select the Running tab.
- Identify the bot by symbol and strategy details.
- Choose the control to end the bot, then read the asset-handling confirmation.
- Proceed only if you accept the automatic market sale of open-order base coins.
- After it ends, check bot history, open orders, balances and any resulting position or asset changes.
Binance also says that when manually cancelling a Spot DCA order, you may be offered a choice to retain the base asset. That outcome differs from ending the bot, so read the cancellation dialog rather than treating both actions as equivalent. The product explanation is in What Is Spot DCA and How Does It Work?.

If Ai Pro has run out of credits
Binance says that when Ai Pro runs out of credits, AI strategies may be limited and the AI may be unable to cancel orders or close positions. Do not wait for the assistant to recover if an order needs attention. Open Binance’s app or website, select the AI Account through the available account-management controls and inspect the orders and positions manually.
Use the least destructive control that matches the urgency: turn off permissions to prevent more activity, cancel the specific order in its correct product view, or disconnect the AI Account link when immediate cancellation and position closure are acceptable. Verify the result rather than relying on a success message from the assistant.

The order is still listed as open
- Refresh the page or app and check the order’s current status.
- Confirm that you are viewing the AI Account or the correct Spot, Futures or Margin account.
- Check whether the order filled while the cancellation request was processing; a filled order belongs in order history, not open orders.
- If it is bot-linked, open the bot view and check whether the bot itself is still running.
A permission toggle cannot be changed
- Check whether the restriction is a jurisdiction or compliance limitation.
- Turn off any other relevant Ai Pro permission that remains enabled.
- Inspect the AI Account directly rather than assuming that an unavailable toggle stopped all activity.
You deactivated but trading has not stopped immediately
Check whether more than seven days have passed since the first payment. Binance’s documented post-seven-day behavior is continued operation through the paid billing period. If immediate management must end, review the AI Account API-key deletion option in Ai Pro settings or use the disconnect procedure after considering its order-cancellation and position-closing effects.
You are about to cancel a bot order
Stop and identify the bot first. Binance’s warning says cancelling an order belonging to a running bot closes the entire bot. For Spot DCA, ending the bot can sell base coins at market, while a manual cancellation may offer retention of the base asset.
A historical automatic-cancellation notice is not a general safety feature
Binance published a specific maintenance notice on January 14, 2026, updated January 16, announcing automatic cancellation at 2026-01-21 07:00 UTC. It covered unfilled Spot and Margin orders placed before 2024-01-01 00:00 UTC. Completed trades were not affected, and Binance repeated the warning that cancelling an order belonging to a running bot closes the bot.
That event had a narrow product and order-date scope and its scheduled time has passed. It does not mean Binance automatically cancels all old orders, all AI orders or every currently unfilled order. For a live problem, use the current order and account controls above.
Final verification checklist
- Identify whether the activity is Ai Pro, a regular Spot order, Futures, Margin or a bot.
- Turn off the Ai Pro permissions that should no longer be available.
- Review the AI Account’s open orders, positions, history and balances separately.
- Use deactivation only after checking whether you are inside or outside the seven-day window.
- Use disconnecting the AI Account link only when you accept cancellation of all open orders and closure of positions across the listed markets.
- For ordinary Spot, use Trade → Spot → Open Orders and verify the order disappears.
- Before cancelling a bot-linked order, read the bot warning and check whether assets may be sold at market.
- Refresh the relevant account view and confirm the final state in order history and balances.
The Bottom Line
For Binance Ai Pro, switch off trading permissions first and inspect the separate AI Account. Deactivation may wait until the paid billing period ends after the first seven days; disconnecting the AI Account link is immediate but cancels all open orders and closes positions. Regular Spot orders and bot orders require their own cancellation paths, with bot cancellations potentially ending the entire bot or selling base coins at market.
