To run a pre-recorded playlist continuously on YouTube with OneStream Live, connect an eligible YouTube channel, create a 24-hour Stream, add your videos, enter the stream details, choose when it starts, set a duration of up to 30 days, and schedule it. OneStream says the feature is YouTube-only and requires its Enterprise plan; a scheduled stream must be set up again after its 30-day maximum.
Before you set up the stream
- Check YouTube access: YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. Its current guidance also sets a minimum age of 16 for livestreaming. See YouTube’s live-streaming access requirements.
- Confirm your OneStream plan: OneStream Live Help Center says 24/7 streaming is exclusive to YouTube and requires an Enterprise plan. Check OneStream’s current plan information for availability and commercial terms in India; the documentation does not establish India-specific pricing or access.
- Prepare rights-cleared videos and audio: YouTube’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service apply to live streams. Use content you own or are licensed to use, including music. OneStream recommends royalty-free or licensed music for music playlists.
A dedicated computer, encoder, capture card, or other special equipment is not required for this pre-recorded playlist workflow: OneStream describes playlist processing as cloud-based.

Start a 24/7 YouTube playlist stream on the web
- Connect your YouTube channel. In OneStream, open Social Platforms and connect or select the channel you will stream to. Make sure the channel has live-streaming access before scheduling.
- Open the 24-hour stream creator. In the web app, click Create, then choose 24-hour Stream.
- Add the playlist videos. Select videos from your device, OneStream storage, or a connected cloud-storage source such as Google Drive or Dropbox. Select the content and continue. The help documentation does not specify a minimum playlist length or required local storage capacity.
- Select YouTube and enter stream details. Turn on the YouTube channel you connected and fill in the stream details requested by OneStream.
- Choose a start time and duration. Start immediately or schedule a later start, then set the duration in days. OneStream Live Help Center states that the maximum allowed duration is 30 days per 24/7 stream.
- Schedule the broadcast. Click Schedule Broadcast and confirm the scheduled stream appears as expected in your OneStream account. A single schedule does not run indefinitely; create another schedule when the current duration ends if you want to continue.
Use the mobile app instead
OneStream’s mobile workflow follows the same basic path: tap Create, choose 24-Hour Stream, add content, select the YouTube channel, enter details, choose the start time and duration, and schedule the broadcast. Depending on the device and app, content can be selected from the camera, mobile storage, OneStream storage, or cloud storage. The same maximum duration of 30 days applies.

Choose a video source that fits your files

The documented options do not establish a speed, reliability, or price advantage for one source over another. Choose based on where the videos are and which files you can access.

Copyright, YouTube rules, and monetization
An always-on schedule does not grant permission to broadcast material. Confirm that you have the rights to every video, soundtrack, and other audio in the playlist. YouTube’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service still apply to livestreams, and copyrighted material may lead to restrictions or other action.
Scheduling a continuous stream does not guarantee monetization, watch hours, or channel growth. YouTube Partner Program eligibility and monetization policies determine whether a channel or its content can earn. Common problems and what to check
- You cannot select or start a YouTube stream: Check that the correct channel is connected in Social Platforms, that it is verified, and that YouTube has not restricted live streaming within the previous 90 days.
- The 24-hour Stream option is unavailable: Check whether your account has the OneStream Enterprise plan. OneStream identifies this plan as a requirement for the feature.
- The planned run is longer than 30 days: Split it into successive schedules. OneStream’s per-stream maximum is 30 days, not an indefinite single schedule.
- A video is missing from the selection list: Check that you are browsing the intended source—device, OneStream storage, or connected cloud storage—and that the file is available there.
- The stream is interrupted or content is blocked: Check OneStream’s stream status and YouTube Studio notifications, then review the video and audio rights and applicable YouTube policies. The cited setup documentation does not promise uninterrupted operation or a particular recovery time.
