Spend a Ragnarok Origin ticket only after you have identified its exact name, the event or pool it belongs to, and the rules on your own regional server. “Gacha ticket” is not one universal currency: Numba Wan Raffle tickets, appearance-gacha Gacha Tickets, limited-time pet-summoning tickets, and event-entry or exchange tickets follow different rules. Check the item description and the live event page before drawing, then compare the reward you want with the entire pool, the event end date, any pity counter, and any stated expiration or carryover rule.
That regional check is essential in 2026. Ragnarok Origin’s North American service ended on March 24, 2026 (PST), so NA players cannot use tickets in that terminated service. Global and other regional services publish their own event notices and may use different pools, dates, and guarantees.

Start by confirming which Ragnarok Origin service you play
Ticket advice is valid only for the service and event that published it. The official North American Operations Team announced that “as of March 24, 2026 (PST), the service for Ragnarok Origin has officially ended,” with access to the game and related services terminated. Do not treat older NA ticket rules as instructions for a live server, and do not tell a former NA player to open or spend tickets there.

Ticket names are not interchangeable
The safest first step is to read the ticket’s complete in-game name. Official announcements use different items for different activities:
| Ticket or item type | What the published examples use it for | What you must verify before spending |
|---|---|---|
| Numba Wan Ticket | A corresponding pool in the Numba Wan Raffle. | Which of the four pools it opens, the current prize list, daily reset time, removal rules, and whether the ticket carries over. |
| Gacha Ticket | An appearance gacha, such as the global Jester Gemini event, for named costume and accessory rewards. | The live odds, draw rules, banner end time, and whether a pity or guarantee is actually published. |
| Limited-Time Summoning Ticket and Angeling Coin | Limited-time pet-summoning events in a May 2023 North American patch example. | Whether the pet pool is temporary, the pity counter’s scope, and whether featured pets enter a permanent pool later. |
| Event-entry or exchange tickets | Events such as Eggstravaganza Challenge, which accepted tickets or Zeny and could award (Premium) Card Drawing Tickets; Dreamy Wishing Tickets from its Poring Chest could be exchanged in a shop. | Whether the item is an entry fee, a reward, or an exchange currency, plus the event’s closing date and shop inventory. |
A ticket that looks similar to another one may still be bound to a different banner or event. Never spend one because its icon, color, or word “gacha” resembles another item.
A ticket-by-ticket decision process
- Read the exact item description. Note the full item name, the permitted banner or pool, whether it is bound, and any displayed expiration date. If the description names an event, open that event rather than a general summoning menu.
- Open the current event page. Record the start and end time in your server’s time zone. An event can close while tickets remain in your inventory, and an exchange shop can have a different closing time from the draw screen.
- List the actual rewards. Identify the one reward you would be happy to receive and every outcome you would consider poor value. A desired costume is not automatically worth drawing if most of the pool contains materials you do not need.
- Check the pool structure. Determine whether rewards are removed after they are drawn, whether the pool refreshes, whether duplicate rewards are possible, and whether the odds change as items disappear. Do not infer these mechanics from another banner.
- Find the guarantee or pity rule. Look for a stated draw count, counter scope, reset condition, and whether the counter is shared with another pool. If the event page does not state a rule, treat it as unknown rather than assuming a standard pity system.
- Check expiration and carryover. A documented carryover rule can justify saving. In its official global notice, Numba Wan Tickets were stated not to expire and to remain usable when the Numba Wan Raffle returned. That statement applies to Numba Wan Tickets, not automatically to Gacha Tickets, pet-summoning tickets, or event tickets.
- Separate free tickets from paid currency. Decide how many tickets you already own and whether obtaining more requires Diamonds, Nyan Berries, or another in-game currency. Set a limit before drawing; do not chase a reward because you have already spent.
- Spend only if the outcome fits your plan. If the banner’s best reward is not useful, the pity counter is unclear, or the event ends before you can reach a stated guarantee, saving is usually the lower-risk choice when carryover is documented. If carryover is not stated, mark the rule unknown and verify it in the client or an official notice.
How the 2026 global Numba Wan Raffle works
The global 2026 Numba Wan notice is a useful example of why ticket-specific reading matters. It describes a raffle shared across servers with four separate prize pools:
| Pool | Required ticket | Published mechanics |
|---|---|---|
| Sigil | Corresponding Numba Wan pool ticket | Pool refreshes daily at 12:00; a drawn reward is permanently removed from that pool. |
| Cogwheel | Corresponding Numba Wan pool ticket | Same event-level refresh and removal rules; inspect the live pool for its current contents. |
| Material | Corresponding Numba Wan pool ticket | Same event-level refresh and removal rules; do not substitute another pool’s ticket. |
| Card | Corresponding Numba Wan pool ticket | Same event-level refresh and removal rules; the available rewards are event-specific. |
The notice says the pools refresh at 12:00 daily. Once a reward is drawn, it is permanently removed from that pool. It also says the odds are not affected by the remaining number of items, but that odds change if a certain type of item is emptied. Those details belong to that Numba Wan event; they are not a general rule for every Ragnarok Origin banner.
What daily refresh means for your timing
Do not assume that a partly emptied pool is automatically better. Because the notice separates ordinary remaining-item counts from the condition in which a particular item type is emptied, the displayed odds and the event’s special condition matter more than simply waiting for other players to draw. Check the pool after the 12:00 refresh and before spending a large batch of tickets.

When saving Numba Wan Tickets is rational
An official global announcement says: “Unspent Numba Wan Tickets will not expire and can still be used when the Numba Wan Raffle event re-runs.” If your current four-pool rewards do not help your character, saving those tickets for a rerun is a documented option. Do not extend this promise to another ticket simply because it has “ticket” in its name; use the other item’s own description and notice.
Appearance gacha: do not invent odds or pity
The same global 2026 notice describes a Jester Gemini appearance gacha that uses Gacha Tickets for a chance at named costume and accessory rewards. The cited announcement does not provide the complete odds, a universal pity number, or a general carryover rule. Consequently, you should not quote a percentage, promise a guaranteed costume, or claim that a counter carries to the next appearance banner unless the current event screen explicitly says so.

Evaluate the full reward table
- Write down the exact cosmetic you want and whether alternate colors, accessories, or duplicates have meaningful value to you.
- Check whether the banner is a fixed pool, a weighted pool, or a sequence in which rewards are removed.
- Read the draw button and help panel for single-draw and multi-draw differences. A multi-draw is not proof of a guarantee.
- Capture the event end date and any displayed counter before buying additional tickets.
Do not confuse Furniture Wishing with costume pity
The 2026 global announcements mention a separate Furniture Wishing notice in which at least one Orange-or-higher blueprint was guaranteed after 60 draws. That 60-draw guarantee concerns Furniture Wishing. It is not evidence of a 60-draw guarantee for the Jester Gemini appearance gacha or for ordinary costume tickets.
Limited-time pet summoning: a dated example of independent pity
A May 2023 North American patch note illustrates a different rule set. It allowed Limited-Time Summoning Tickets and Angeling Coins to be used in limited-time pet-summoning events. The cited event had an independent pity system that did not share with other card pools. Featured pets also were not added to the permanent summoning pools after that limited event.

Use this as a checklist, not as a current guarantee. Before drawing in a live pet event, verify:
- Which items advance the event’s pity counter.
- Whether the counter is shared with another pet or card pool.
- When the counter resets or disappears.
- Whether the featured pet will enter a permanent pool after the event.
- Whether unused Limited-Time Summoning Tickets or Angeling Coins can be carried into a rerun.
If the current notice is silent, the correct label is “not stated,” not “the pity carries” or “the pity resets.”

This is different from a normal banner ticket. An entry ticket pays for access to an activity; a reward ticket is received from that activity; an exchange ticket is spent in a shop. Before using one, check the event’s entry cost, the reward screen, the shop’s closing time, and whether unused items remain usable after the event. Do not assume that a Dreamy Wishing Ticket opens a card banner or that a Card Drawing Ticket can be used in an event shop.
How to decide between spending now and saving
| Situation | Lower-risk action | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| The desired reward is in the pool, the odds and guarantee are published, and you can accept the other outcomes. | Spend only the amount in your preset budget. | You understand both the target and the downside. |
| The ticket’s official notice says it does not expire and works in a rerun, but current rewards are weak. | Save it. | Documented carryover preserves a future use. |
| The event ends soon and you cannot reach its stated guarantee. | Do not add paid currency solely to chase the guarantee. | The remaining draws may not justify the cost. |
| Pity scope, reset behavior, or carryover is not published. | Pause and verify in the current client or official notice. | Cross-banner assumptions can waste tickets. |
| You want only one item in a large pool with many unwanted rewards. | Compare the complete pool value first; save if the unwanted outcomes dominate. | Ticket count alone does not make the banner favorable. |
| You are considering “building pity” on a banner you do not want. | Skip it unless the event explicitly defines the counter and you accept an early featured result. | An early result can end your counter progress while giving you the wrong reward. |
Why “building pity” is risky
Players often draw on an unwanted banner to move closer to a future guarantee. That strategy works only when the game explicitly states that the counter persists, identifies which banners share it, and explains what happens when an early featured reward appears. A dated pet-summoning example had an independent pity system, showing that counters can be isolated from other pools.
For an appearance gacha or raffle, ask four questions before using a ticket for progress:
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- Does this exact ticket advance the counter?
- Is the counter tied to this event, this banner, or a broader category?
- Does the counter carry to the next event or reset at the end?
- What happens if the featured reward arrives before the guarantee?
If any answer is missing, treat the draw as a normal chance, not as guaranteed progress.
Paid tickets, Diamonds, and a sensible spending limit
The global Numba Wan notice says tickets could be purchased through the shop using Diamonds and also mentions Nyan Berry purchases. That establishes an in-game purchase route for that notice; it does not establish a third-party offer, affiliate relationship, or value comparison.

Keep free tickets and purchased tickets in separate mental accounts. A free ticket can be used when its expected reward is acceptable without increasing your budget. A purchased ticket should be evaluated as a discretionary expense: decide the maximum amount before opening the shop, include the possibility of receiving an unwanted outcome, and stop at that limit. Do not treat previous spending as a reason to buy more.
What to do when the rules are unclear
Use this short verification checklist before drawing:
- Open the ticket in your inventory and read the full description.
- Open the event’s “Details,” “Rules,” “Odds,” or equivalent panel.
- Check the banner and exchange-shop end times separately.
- Look for an expiration date or a statement about reruns.
- Record the exact pity threshold, eligible tickets, and reset condition if a counter exists.
- Confirm whether rewards are removed, duplicated, or refreshed.
- Check the region and patch date of any official notice you are reading.
- If a rule is absent, contact the game’s current regional support channel or wait for a notice rather than relying on an old community answer.
The community question “Is there a pity mechanic for gacha tickets?” is understandable, but it cannot be answered for every ticket with one yes-or-no rule. The answer depends on the event, pool, region, and date.
Quick Recap
A practical one-minute routine before every draw
- Say the ticket’s full name aloud or copy it into your notes.
- Identify the exact banner, raffle pool, pet event, entry activity, or exchange shop it opens.
- Read the current reward table and mark your acceptable outcomes.
- Check the event end time, pool refresh time, odds, and any stated removal behavior.
- Confirm pity scope and carryover; write “not stated” if the page does not answer.
- Choose a fixed number of tickets or a fixed currency limit.
- Draw only if receiving a non-target reward would still be acceptable.
