First, identify what “diamonds” means on your Aion 2 build. The current global shop materials call the paid currency Quna, while a separate community map uses Diamond Gemstone for a gatherable crafting material. They are not interchangeable. If you are deciding how to use paid currency, follow the Quna guidance below. If you are gathering resource nodes, use the Diamond Gemstone section instead.
There is no officially published universal “best” purchase. The September 30, 2026 global product notice gives Quna prices, item limits and menu locations, but it does not rank purchases by progression value. The sensible approach is to verify the live shop, reserve currency for a need you can name, and account for whether a cap is per character or per server.

“Diamonds” can mean two different things
Aion 2’s current terminology creates an important trap. In the global business materials, the currency sold for real money is Quna. A separate community resource, AION 2 Atlas, calls mined nodes Diamond Gemstone. Spending Quna and routing through Diamond Gemstone veins are different decisions with different evidence.
If you mean the paid currency
Use the official Quna Shop prices and limits in this article. Quna is purchased through recharge packs and then allocated to eligible shop products. The official notice does not establish that spending Quna is required to play or progress, so treat every purchase as optional convenience or customization unless your own immediate need justifies it.

If you mean Diamond Gemstones
Do not look for a shop price. The community map describes Diamond Gemstones as a gathering material used for accessories, high-tier potions and soulstones. Its map contains 356 pins across Verteron and Altgard, retrieved October 12, 2026, but the map authors say they did not verify each pin in game. Those locations are therefore leads for your own checking, not guaranteed spawn points or drop rates.

NCSoft’s global notice, dated September 30, 2026, lists the following recharge packs in the US Purple Store. NCSoft says prices may vary by store, so these are not universal regional prices.

Use the correct shop section
Not every product mentioned in the global notice is a Quna purchase. Keep the currencies and menus separate when you plan a budget.
- Quna recharge:
In-Game Menu → Shop → Quna Shop → Recharge. - Tsenka Merchant consumables:
In-Game Menu → Shop → Tsenka Merchants → Consumable. This is a distinct merchant section; do not assume its products consume Quna simply because they appear in the same overall shop interface. - A2 Mileage shop: listed separately in the notice and uses its own mileage context.
- Event starter pack: listed separately from the recharge packs and should be checked for its own currency, eligibility and duration.
Reading the section heading before clicking Buy prevents a common error: budgeting Quna for an item that is actually paid with mileage, an event entitlement or another currency.

Use this sequence whenever you are considering a purchase. It is deliberately conditional because the official price notice supplies costs and caps, not a universal value formula.
- Name the problem. Write down what is blocking you now: lack of storage, a specific consumable, a naming change or another clearly identified need. If you cannot describe the problem without referring to a hypothetical future benefit, wait.
- Confirm the currency. Open the item’s live detail panel and verify that the payment line says Quna. If it shows mileage, an event token or another currency, leave the Quna balance out of that calculation.
- Read the cap. Record whether the limit is daily, per character or per server. A three-per-character daily limit for Key: Hidden Cube is materially different from a 20-per-server storage limit. Check the counter on the character or server that will actually receive the item.
- Check your existing inventory. Count unused vouchers, consumables and storage space before buying another copy. The price alone does not tell you whether an additional unit solves your problem.
- Compare the purchase with waiting. Ask whether you can continue playing, gather materials or use an existing alternative without spending. The published information does not show that any listed Quna item is mandatory for progression.
- Choose the smallest justified commitment. If one purchase addresses a current need, avoid buying a larger pack or multiple units solely because you have remaining Quna. Preserve the balance for a later decision where your need is clearer.
- Recheck the confirmation screen. Verify the item name, quantity, Quna deduction and recipient character or server before final confirmation. Keep the receipt or transaction record for support purposes.
How to think about each listed purchase
Resurrection Spiritstone: a situational consumable
The notice lists one Resurrection Spiritstone at 100 Quna but does not provide a comparative value analysis or a universal purchase priority. Treat it as a situational consumable. Buy only when you understand when you will use it and have checked whether you already hold one. A low unit price is not a reason to stockpile an item whose use is uncertain.
Key: Hidden Cube: respect the daily character cap
At 50 Quna, the listed cap is three per character per day. Before planning a routine, calculate the number of characters you intend to use and check each character’s remaining allowance in the live shop. Do not describe the limit as three per account or three per server; the notice specifically states “per character per day.”

Storage vouchers: choose the right scope
Cube Expansion Voucher and Character Storage Expansion Voucher each cost 200 Quna and are capped at 20 per character. Server Storage Expansion Voucher also costs 200 Quna, but its cap is 20 per server. The decision is therefore about where the bottleneck exists. A character-specific shortage points toward a character-scoped expansion; a shared server-storage shortage points toward the server-scoped option. Confirm which inventory the voucher changes in the item description before spending.
Name Change Voucher: a non-progression decision
The listed price is 500 Quna, with no limit stated in the notice. This is an identity or presentation choice, not evidence of a gameplay advantage. Decide on the name first, check spelling and character selection, then purchase only when you are comfortable with the irreversible or restricted aspects shown by the live confirmation screen.
Atreian Pledge of Allegiance: a server-level cap
At 1,000 Quna and four per server, this item consumes a larger portion of the listed recharge packs than the 50- or 100-Quna examples. The notice does not establish its comparative progression value. Confirm what it does in the current item description, who receives it and how many have already been bought on the server before allocating Quna to it.
Budget examples without pretending there is one best buy
Examples can clarify the arithmetic without turning a personal choice into a universal recommendation.
Example: a 400-Quna balance
A 400-Quna pack is listed at $5.99 in the US Purple Store. That balance could cover four 100-Quna Resurrection Spiritstones, eight 50-Quna Key: Hidden Cube purchases, two 200-Quna storage vouchers, or a mixture. The correct choice depends on the problem you identified and the applicable character or server caps. The arithmetic does not prove that any one mixture is better.
Example: a 1,000-Quna balance
A 1,000-Quna pack is listed at $14.99. It matches the listed cost of one Atreian Pledge of Allegiance, but buying that item would use the entire balance. If your immediate need is 200-Quna storage, retaining the remaining 800 Quna may leave more options than committing all 1,000 to one unneeded product. This is a budgeting illustration, not a recommendation to buy either item.
Example: a larger pack
The 2,000- and 4,000-Quna packs cost $29.99 and $59.99 respectively in the US Purple Store. A larger balance can reduce the number of separate transactions, but the notice does not establish a bonus, discount or superior gameplay return for choosing the larger pack. Select a pack based on a documented near-term plan, not on the assumption that unused Quna must eventually be spent.
Common mistakes and how to avoid them
- Calling Quna “diamonds.” Use the currency name shown in the global shop so you do not confuse a paid balance with Diamond Gemstone nodes.
- Applying a character cap to the server. Key: Hidden Cube is limited per character per day; Atreian Pledge of Allegiance and Server Storage Expansion Voucher have server-level limits in the notice.
- Assuming the US price is global. The official notice says the listed prices are based on the Purple Store and may vary by store.
- Buying before checking another currency. Tsenka Merchant consumables, A2 Mileage products and an event starter pack are presented in separate contexts.
- Turning a price list into a tier list. No official source cited here compares progression value across these products. Present your own choice as conditional on need, inventory and limits.
- Assuming spending is required. The product notice confirms that paid Quna purchases are offered; it does not prove that any purchase is necessary to play or progress.
- Ignoring the live item panel. Product names, availability and caps can change. Treat the September 30, 2026 notice as a dated reference and the current in-game description as the transaction-time authority.
If you meant Diamond Gemstones: gather before you allocate
Diamond Gemstone is a resource question rather than a Quna shopping question. AION 2 Atlas reports 356 community pins in Verteron and Altgard and associates the material with accessories, high-tier potions and soulstones. Because the map authors did not verify every pin in game, use it to form a route and then validate each stop on your own build.
Set a material target
Start with the recipe, upgrade or sale you are actually pursuing. Record the number of gemstones required and the other materials needed. Without a target, a route can consume travel time while producing a stockpile you do not use.
Validate pins in your current build
Visit a small sample of pins in the relevant zone, note which nodes are present and record how long the loop takes. Mark missing or inaccessible locations rather than treating the map’s 356-pin count as a guaranteed supply.

Compare routes by time and competition
For each loop, track travel time, number of usable nodes and interruptions. A shorter route with fewer reliable nodes may outperform a long route on paper. Because the available source does not provide verified respawn rates, drop quantities or competition measurements, do not publish a guaranteed “best farm.”
Decide whether to gather or buy
Compare the time required to gather the amount you need with the value of the finished accessory, potion or soulstone. The evidence available here does not establish a market price or a universal gathering return, so make this a personal time-versus-need decision and recheck current recipes and market conditions in game.
Launch context and what it does not prove
NCSoft announced on September 30, 2026 that Early Access on Steam and PURPLE began that day for Founder’s Pack buyers, with the official launch scheduled for October 5, 2026. The announcement says Early Access included marketplace activity, economy features and cash-shop cosmetics. That context explains why players are examining currencies early, but it is not evidence that a particular Quna item is the best value.

NCSoft’s January 2026 roadmap also reported more than KRW 100 billion in cumulative revenue as of January 3, 2026, 46 days after the Korea/Taiwan launch, along with more than one million membership purchases during that period. Those are historical Korea/Taiwan launch-period figures, not a current global spending benchmark and not a reason for an individual player to increase a Quna budget.
A five-question check before you click Buy
- Is this definitely Quna, or is it another currency or a Diamond Gemstone resource?
- What immediate problem does the item solve for my character or server?
- What is the exact cost and what cap applies?
- How much of my remaining balance will this consume?
- Would I still make the purchase if I could not use the item today?
If any answer is unclear, close the confirmation window and inspect the item description, inventory and limit counter again. Delaying a discretionary purchase preserves every option that remains in your balance.
