The ARC Frigate puzzle is solved by boarding the descending Reclaimer platform, selecting Disrupt, transferring to the ship, activating its simultaneous controls, shooting the yellow wall targets, and destroying the Power Cores that control progression and hazards. The current full-clear account ends with a small core behind a red-lit hatch, opposite-side cargo-panel interactions, and a ride down in the released cargo.
This encounter is a map condition rather than a permanently accessible building. Routes and room order are still being reported differently, so use the sequence below as the most detailed guide-reported path available as of October 13, 2026—not as proof that every Frigate run has an identical layout.

What the ARC Frigate encounter is
The Frigate appears as an ARC map condition, with the ship visible overhead. Its boarding device is a circular Reclaimer platform that travels between the surface and the vessel. You cannot simply climb the hull from ground level: you must catch the platform while it is descending, get onto it, and use its interaction to return upward.

ARC enemies can attack while you are boarding or moving between rooms, and the ship contains environmental hazards in addition to normal combat. The practical objective is to expose and destroy Power Cores around the vessel. Some cores open the next route; others disable timed fire or strong wind that can throw Raiders from platforms.

Reports published around October 8–9, 2026 do not agree on a single universal room order. One Games.gg guide still described the complete sabotage route as being mapped, while an Arc Raiders Hub guide updated October 9 reported a successful full clear and described the cargo-release sequence. Beebom also arranged core locations differently. The instructions below identify which parts are consistent and which are guide-specific.
Prepare before you try to board
Bring traversal options, but do not assume they skip objectives
- A Grappling Hook or similar hook can shorten jumps and may let you bypass some platform interactions. PC Gamer describes yellow wall nodes and hooks as traversal tools, not as confirmed substitutes for destroying required cores.
- Carry a combat loadout that can handle ARC enemies at close range. The guides do not establish that a particular cloak, shield or weapon guarantees a safe ascent.
- Keep enough healing and ammunition for a route that may include several rooms and repeated attempts at a mechanism.
- If you are in a squad, assign one player to watch for enemies while others operate panels. Simultaneous interactions are easier when players call out their positions before activating anything.
Do not lock yourself into a party-size assumption
The first lift mechanism has produced different reports. Arc Raiders Hub describes three players in two runs and two players in another; a hook may also provide a shortcut. That evidence is not enough to say that three players are always required. The central reactor later in the route is a different matter: it is consistently described as using three Move Up panels around the core ring.
Step-by-step Frigate walkthrough
1. Find the Frigate map condition and watch the platform
- Open the map and confirm that the ARC Frigate condition is active. Look for the ship overhead rather than searching for a normal permanent entrance.
- Watch for the circular Reclaimer platform as it descends. It must be low enough for you to climb or grapple onto it.
- Approach only when you have a usable line to the platform. The open area near the ship can expose you to ARC attacks, so clear immediate threats or have a teammate cover the approach.
Do not treat the platform as a lift that waits indefinitely. If you miss it, wait for its next pass instead of jumping toward the hull from an unsafe angle.

- Interact with the mounted Reclaimer platform.
- Choose Disrupt. This sends the platform back upward.
- Ride it until the top of its movement brings you level with the Frigate.
- Step or grapple from the platform onto the hull. Confirm that your feet are on the ship before the platform moves away.
The important distinction is that Disrupt is the boarding interaction; it does not solve a Frigate room mechanism. You still have to enter the ship and work through its cores.

3. Reach the first lift and activate its controls
The opening lift is reported to use controls that must be activated together. Circle the lift and identify every visible panel before anyone presses one. When the team is ready, count down and activate the controls at the same time. If the lift does not move, release the controls, check for a missed panel and repeat rather than assuming the encounter is broken.
The number of Raiders needed for this first mechanism has varied in player reports. A traversal hook can sometimes reduce the amount of platforming, but no guide establishes that the hook removes every required interaction.
4. Raise the central reactor with the three Move Up panels
At the central reactor, look for three panels arranged around the ring. Each is labeled Move Up. This is the clearest fixed count in the available reports: three panels must be operated together to raise the core.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems- Have players stand at separate panels and confirm that all three are in view or within voice-chat range.
- Call a countdown.
- Press Move Up on all three panels together.
- Wait for the reactor assembly to rise fully. Interrupting the sequence can leave the core out of reach.
- Attack the exposed Power Core until it is destroyed.
Destroying this core opens the next stage of the route. If only one or two panels respond, reposition so every player is interacting with the correct control; do not substitute a nearby button that belongs to another mechanism.
Rank #3
5. Shoot the yellow wall targets to create steps
Look for small yellow targets mounted on the walls after the reactor sequence. Shooting them causes sections of the wall or structure to fold out, creating climbable steps or platforms. A hook can shorten this ascent, but shooting the targets remains the reliable way to reveal the intended route.
- Scan both sides of each wall and the upper edges of the room for yellow targets.
- Shoot a target and wait for the section to finish moving.
- Use the new step, ledge or platform to gain height.
- Repeat until you reach the next passage. If a target is hidden by a moving panel, change your angle rather than firing randomly into the wall.
6. Follow the upper-deck route while managing fire and wind
Arc Raiders Hub reports engine-room areas with strong wind and timed fire. The wind can knock a Raider from a ledge, while the fire cycles on a timer and can force a retreat. Painted arrows and vents are used as route clues in that account.
Rooms on either side of the upper path contain loot and a small Power Core in the middle. Destroying the room core is reported to switch off both the fire and wind effects. Treat this as the guide-reported sequence: room arrangement and order may differ in another Frigate event.
- Pause at a safe ledge and watch the hazard cycle before crossing.
- Use the painted arrows and visible vents to identify the next room instead of jumping toward an unmarked opening.
- Enter a side room, locate the small core, and destroy it.
- Confirm that the timed fire and wind have stopped before making the next exposed crossing.
- Loot side rooms only after the path is safe enough to avoid being pushed from a platform.
7. Search for the remaining cores, including the red-lit hatch
The full-clear account places additional cores around the Frigate. A small core at the bottom is reached through a hatch marked by red light. Because Beebom and Arc Raiders Hub list core locations in different orders, do not rely on a fixed numbered count or assume that every run exposes them in the same sequence.

- Enter the red-lit opening and destroy the small Power Core inside or immediately beyond it.
- After each core, check whether a door, platform or hazard state has changed before moving on.
If a room seems closed, recheck the previous chamber for an unshot yellow target or a simultaneous panel. Progression is often gated by an interaction that is visible only from a different platform.
8. Open the cargo, release it, and loot the drop
After the reported full-clear sequence of core destructions, locate the cargo section. Its breachable panels are on opposite sides. The cargo does not open from a single button: Raiders must repeatedly interact with the paired panels.
- Position players at the two opposite-side cargo panels. If you are alone, determine whether the encounter permits a solo interaction; the available reports focus on paired simultaneous play and do not establish a universal solo method.
- Call a countdown and interact with both panels together.
- Repeat the interaction when the mechanism resets. The account describes several repeated activations rather than one press.
- Continue until the cargo releases and drops away from the Frigate.
- Ride the released cargo toward the ground, then search its containers for the encounter loot.
Do not jump off early just because the cargo has begun moving. The drop is the final traversal section described in the full-clear report, and leaving it prematurely can strand you away from the containers.

Traversal shortcuts versus required objectives
A Grappling Hook is useful for reaching yellow wall sections, crossing gaps and recovering from a missed platform. It changes how you move through the ship, not necessarily what the encounter requires you to destroy. The available guides do not verify a route in which a hook replaces every Power Core or simultaneous control.

| Larger coordinated squad | Makes simultaneous panels and enemy coverage easier | Does not prove that three players are mandatory for the first lift | More players must remain synchronized during cargo interactions |
Troubleshooting when you are stuck at the first puzzle
The platform will not board
- Wait for the Reclaimer to descend low enough to climb or grapple.
- Check that you are interacting with the platform itself, not a nearby hull surface.
- Select Disrupt; boarding without that interaction does not send the platform back toward the ship.
- If enemies interrupt the transfer, clear the immediate area and attempt the next platform pass.
The first lift does not move
- Walk the full perimeter and identify every control.
- Use a countdown so all players activate at the same moment.
- Try again with a different arrangement if one player cannot reach a panel.
- If you have a hook, test the alternate ledge, but continue looking for required controls rather than assuming the lift is optional.
The reactor remains too low to damage
- Verify that this is the central reactor ring and that the controls read Move Up.
- Place one player at each of the three panels.
- Activate all three together and wait for the complete raise animation.
- Only then attack the exposed core.
You cannot find the next route
- Search walls for yellow targets above and behind your current position.
- Look for painted arrows and vents in the upper engine areas.
- Revisit the last room for an unopened section or undestroyed small core.
- Remember that guides published on different dates arrange the core route differently; a missing door is not proof that your run is impossible.
Fire or wind keeps returning
In the Arc Raiders Hub account, those hazards are tied to a small room core. Find and destroy the core in the affected room, then wait through one hazard cycle to confirm that the change persisted. Do not attempt a long exposed crossing while assuming that the timer alone will end the effect.
The cargo will not release
- Stand at opposite-side panels rather than two controls on the same face.
- Interact simultaneously, then repeat when the mechanism resets.
- Watch for the full release animation before jumping or transferring.
- If the cargo drops but you cannot find the containers, ride it toward the ground instead of returning to the Frigate.
How reliable is this route?
The boarding method, the use of Disrupt, simultaneous controls, yellow wall targets and the existence of Power Cores are supported by multiple guides. The exact room order and a fixed core count are not. Beebom and Arc Raiders Hub arrange the locations differently, and Games.gg said on October 8, 2026 that a verified end-to-end route was still being mapped. Arc Raiders Hub’s October 9 account is the most complete currently reported clear, including the red-lit hatch and cargo ride, but it is one guide’s successful run rather than independent proof that every map instance is invariant.
Expect the encounter to change with game updates or event rotations. When a familiar door, hazard or panel is absent, first verify that the Frigate condition is active and then search for the same functional clues: simultaneous controls, yellow fold-out targets, exposed cores, hazard-shutdown cores and paired cargo panels. Those mechanics are more dependable navigation cues than memorizing a single room-number sequence.
