To sign out, open Prime Video on your Roku, select your profile, choose the gear icon for Settings, then scroll to Sign Out and select it. Confirm if prompted. If you cannot access the Roku or the app will not sign out, deregister the device from your Amazon account instead.

Launch the Prime Video app on your Roku.

Select the profile icon, then choose the gear icon to open Settings.

Scroll down the settings list to Sign Out. On some Roku app versions, this option is at the bottom of the list.

Select Sign Out and confirm if the app asks. You can then sign in with the Amazon account you want to use.

If you cannot use the Roku or sign-out fails
Amazon advises retrying if a temporary connection issue interrupts sign-in or sign-out. If you still cannot sign out locally, remove the device’s Prime Video authorization from your Amazon account:

Open Account & Settings for your Amazon account and go to Devices.

Find the Roku and choose Deregister next to it.

Sign out, deregister, or unlink: which action do you need?

Signing out does not cancel a subscription
Signing out only changes the Prime Video app session; it does not cancel Prime or another subscription. For a subscription billed directly by Amazon Prime Video, manage cancellation through Amazon.
