Photo Mode is available in Update 1.3.0
IO Interactive added Photo Mode in the free Extended Operations update, version 1.3.0, on October 1, 2026. The update notes describe it as a way to “Capture Bond, the locations and the action from your own angle.” Read IO Interactive’s Update 1.3.0 notes.

Capture a screenshot on your platform
PC: Steam
- Open Photo Mode in 007 First Light and compose the image.
- Use the screenshot shortcut currently configured for the Steam Overlay to capture it.
- To check or change screenshot settings, open Steam and go to Steam > Settings > In-Game. Steam documents the screenshot hotkey and related settings there; the shortcut may differ if you changed it. See Steam’s screenshot guidance.
Steam’s documentation confirms its Overlay screenshot feature, but it does not establish a game-specific Photo Mode export button, image format, or save path for 007 First Light. Find the captured image through Steam’s screenshot interface rather than assuming Photo Mode saves it to a particular folder.

- Compose the image in Photo Mode.
- Capture it with the screenshot tool configured for your PC or storefront.
- Check that tool’s saved-image location before trying to upload the file.
The available official guidance confirms these PC storefronts but does not document their 007 First Light capture shortcuts or screenshot locations. Steam’s instructions should not be assumed to apply to Epic or Microsoft Store versions.
PlayStation 5
- Compose your image in the game’s Photo Mode.
- Use the PS5 capture interface to take a screenshot, then open the console’s capture area to access it.
- Choose a sharing or transfer option offered by the console for your intended destination.
The official PlayStation listing confirms the game for PS5, including PS5 Pro, and not PS4. The official game materials cited here do not specify the current button sequence, a phone-app route, or detailed export steps, so check PlayStation’s current on-console instructions for those particulars.

- Compose your image in Photo Mode.
- Use the Xbox capture interface to take a screenshot and access it from the console.
- Use an available console sharing or transfer option to send it to your chosen destination.
The Xbox store lists 007 First Light for Xbox Series X|S and PC. The official game and update pages cited here do not give the Xbox screenshot button sequence, upload behavior, retention period, or export path. Follow current Xbox support or on-console prompts for those steps.

IO Interactive welcomes players’ fan art, screenshots, clips, and other creations. Its community guidance asks people to tag the official account on the platform where they post so the community team can find the creation. It also says to use spoiler warnings for posts containing spoilers and to follow the platform’s rules. Read IO Interactive’s community guidance.

Pick a destination that suits the image and audience. IO Interactive points players to Discord and Reddit for community discussion, and Instagram and TikTok for short-form highlights. Twitch and YouTube are listed for live or video content, rather than as equivalent destinations for a full-resolution still image. Platform features and upload limits can vary, so check the service’s current posting options before sharing.
- Use a clear caption and tag IO Interactive’s official account on the platform where you post.
- Add a spoiler warning if the image reveals story details.
- Check the destination’s posting rules and image options, especially if preserving image quality matters.
Do not confuse screenshot sharing with cross-progression
IOI Account cross-progression covers specified online progression data; its published information does not list screenshot files as transferable data. It explicitly excludes campaign saves or progression, achievements or trophies, and leaderboards from transfer. That account feature is therefore not evidence that an image captured on one platform will appear on another. See IO Interactive’s account and cross-progression details.
