You can monitor XRP without repeatedly checking charts: choose an app that supports the XRP asset or a market pair available to you, set a price condition, save it, and allow notifications in both the app and your device or browser. A price alert is only a notification—it does not buy or sell XRP for you.
Before setting an XRP alert
Make sure the app offers XRP or the XRP trading pair you want in your region. Available markets and features can vary by location and app version. Decide whether you want to know when XRP crosses a particular price or, if the app supports it, when it moves by a percentage.

Also check that notifications are allowed at both levels: inside the app and in your phone, computer, or browser settings. A saved alert may not reach you if either setting blocks delivery.
Set an XRP alert in Coinbase
- Search for and select a cryptocurrency, then add it to your watchlist.
- Tap the bell-plus icon and choose to add an alert.
- Choose whether XRP’s price must move above or below your target, enter the target, and save.
- Open Account & Settings and then Notification Settings. Enable the custom-alert channels you want: push, in-app, and/or email.
Coinbase says only assets added to a watchlist send alerts. Its price-alert help page describes them as notifications that an asset has reached a certain price; they do not place an order and are not investment advice.

Set an XRP alert in Binance
Binance says its app alert feature is available in Binance Pro. First check that the XRP pair you want is available, then:
- Open Markets and search for the trading pair.
- Select the Alert icon, choose an alert type, set the target and frequency, then create the alert.
- Allow Binance notifications in your phone’s system settings.
Binance documents conditions for reaching a price, rising above or dropping to a price, percentage change above or below a threshold, and 24-hour percentage change up or down. Its alert instructions, updated January 6, 2026, specify a maximum of 10 alerts per pair and 50 overall; each alert is valid for 90 days. Review active alerts and recreate or refresh them before expiry if you still need them.

On Binance desktop, open the Alerts icon, choose Create Alert, then select the market or pair and condition. Enable desktop notifications in your system settings.

In the web interface’s Advanced view, use the Alerts widget behind the Order form, or add it through Layouts & widgets. Enable browser notifications so the alert can appear outside the page.

Kraken Pro mobile
Allow push notifications both in your phone settings and in the Kraken Pro app. Open the price-alert modal from the bell in Markets, or long-press an open order or market. Create a new alert, select XRP, set the trigger parameters, and adjust the target. Kraken’s Market Alerts instructions and XRP price page describe these options.
Choose a trigger and keep the alert useful
- Above or below a price: Use this when you want a notification at a specific level.
- Percentage change: Where supported, use a percentage or time-period condition to watch for a move rather than a particular price.
- Frequency and expiry: Check whether the app offers a frequency setting and whether the alert expires. Binance’s documented limits and 90-day validity are specific to Binance; do not assume other apps use the same rules.
- Delivery channel: Choose push, email, in-app, browser, or desktop notifications only where the service supports them, and confirm the relevant system permission is enabled.
After saving, verify that the alert appears in the app’s active-alert list, if available. If notifications do not arrive, check the selected asset or pair, the alert condition and target, and both app-level and device or browser notification permissions.

What a price alert does—and does not do
An alert is a prompt to check the market after a condition is met. It is not a trade instruction and does not automatically buy or sell XRP. Treat the notification as a reason to review the price and decide what to do, not as a guarantee of execution or a recommendation.
