Uber Eats documents Siri setup on iPhone and reorder and tracking commands for Google Assistant. Panera offers a separate Google Assistant flow. Alexa+ has a broader conversational ordering feature, but Amazon describes it as a phased rollout tied initially to newer Echo Show devices—not a phone-only option everyone can use.

Set up Uber Eats with Siri on iPhone
- Install or update Uber Eats and confirm Siri is available on your iPhone.
- Open Uber Eats and go to Account > Voice Command Settings > Add to Siri.
- Select a custom phrase to launch the action.
- Say “Hey Siri” followed by that phrase. When Siri prompts you, name the restaurant.
- Uber Eats says it prepares your last order from that restaurant, including prior customizations and delivery or pickup preferences. Review the order in the app, make any changes, and confirm before submitting.
- For an active order, invoke Siri and use the tracking phrase configured during setup.
This documented flow is principally for repeating a restaurant order; it does not establish that Siri can freely build any new meal from scratch. Uber Eats lists its supported voice actions and setup details here.

These commands cover reordering and status checks, not a promise of universal free-form ordering. Uber says its commands work worldwide in English and Portuguese, while capabilities can still vary by platform. Check Uber Eats’ current instructions if a phrase does not work.

Order from Panera through Google Assistant
- Open the Google Assistant app and say, “Ok Google, talk to Panera.”
- Link your MyPanera account if prompted.
- Tell Panera what you want and continue through the conversation to select delivery or Rapid Pick-Up and place the order.
Panera also documents using this integration to check rewards or find a cafe. It is a merchant-specific assistant experience; another restaurant may not offer the same integration. See Panera’s instructions.
What Alexa+ can do—and its device caveat
Amazon’s March 31, 2026 announcement says customers can link Grubhub or Uber Eats in the Alexa app at More > Alexa+ Store > Food & Reservations. The described conversation can cover restaurant discovery, adding and changing items, reviewing quantities and prices, checking the total, placing an order, and asking for order updates. Amazon gives “What can I get delivered for dinner tonight?” as an example prompt. Amazon’s announcement describes the rollout.

That announcement said the experience was beginning to roll out to Alexa+ customers with newer Echo Show 8 devices and larger. Amazon’s help page says availability of services and features can vary during Early Access, and that ordering through third-party services requires an Alexa-supported device. The sources do not establish that every phone can complete this flow independently of an Echo Show, or settle availability for every country or account. Voice entry is convenient, but the final review matters: make sure the restaurant, items, quantities, customizations, delivery address, payment method, and total are correct before submitting. Custom instructions depend on whether the restaurant supports them. With Alexa+, Amazon says cancellations and issues with a placed order must be handled through the third-party service, not Alexa. Amazon’s help page explains these limits.

If voice ordering does not work
- Uber Eats: Confirm the app is current, you are using the right assistant and platform, and the command is supported in your language. For Siri, check that the custom action was added under Voice Command Settings. Uber Eats help
- Alexa+ purchase: Amazon recommends checking that Voice Purchasing is on in the Alexa app, that your Amazon account has a current payment method, and that any four-digit voice code or Alexa Voice ID protection is configured correctly. Amazon Alexa+ help
- Restaurant not recognized or unavailable: A dedicated restaurant conversation, like Panera’s, depends on that merchant’s integration. Use the delivery app directly if the assistant does not offer the restaurant or action you need.
