There is no “Meta Glasses Nova” model identified in the official sources available as of October 4, 2026. The pairing steps below are confirmed for Ray-Ban Meta glasses, not for a device whose model name is Nova. Check the name on your frames, case, or packaging before following them; if you have Ray-Ban Meta glasses, use the Meta AI app and the case’s rear button to pair them.
First, check which Meta glasses you have
Meta’s June 23, 2026 announcement, updated July 23, names Meta Adventurer, Meta Fury, and Meta Glasses by Kylie. It does not identify a model called Nova. The setup instructions below come from the official Ray-Ban Meta FAQ and apply to Ray-Ban Meta glasses. Do not assume they work for an unverified Nova product or another Meta glasses model.

Check the product name printed on the frame, case, or packaging. The Ray-Ban procedure uses a button on the back of the charging case and a blue blinking case light to signal pairing mode. If your device has a different name or case, consult its model-specific instructions rather than treating this guide as confirmation of compatibility.

Pair Ray-Ban Meta glasses with your phone
- Charge and switch on the glasses. The frame’s white LED blinks while the glasses power on, then turns solid green when they are ready.
- Turn on Bluetooth in your phone’s settings.
- If you use an iPhone, clear an existing Bluetooth entry. If the glasses already appear in iOS Bluetooth settings, tap “Forget This Device.” The Ray-Ban FAQ says this step is not necessary on Android.
- Put the glasses in their case. Hold the button on the back of the case for five seconds. Wait for the case light to blink blue; Ray-Ban says, “The light blinks blue, indicating that the device is ready to pair.”
- Open the Meta AI app. Tap the settings gear, choose Add device, and follow the on-screen instructions. The glasses may take up to ten seconds to appear in the app.
If the Meta AI app won’t find your glasses
These checks follow the Ray-Ban Meta FAQ. Try them in order so you can distinguish a power or Bluetooth issue from an existing pairing.

- Make sure the glasses are charged and switched on. Look for the solid green frame LED.
- Confirm that Bluetooth is enabled on the phone.
- If you are using iOS and the glasses are already listed in Bluetooth settings, choose “Forget This Device.” This is not required on Android according to the FAQ.
- Place the glasses in the case and hold its rear button for five seconds. Confirm that the case light blinks blue, then allow up to ten seconds for the glasses to appear in the Meta AI app.
- If they still do not appear, switch the glasses off and on, then quit and reopen the Meta AI app.
- If the glasses were set up previously, unpair them in the Meta AI app and remove them from the phone’s Bluetooth list. Then repeat the pairing steps.
- If pairing still fails, the Ray-Ban FAQ directs users to open a warranty claim.
Re-pair glasses that were connected before
For Ray-Ban Meta glasses, remove them from the case and switch them on by sliding the power switch on the left frame toward the front. Put them back in the case and wait for the case light to flash blue. If pairing mode does not start automatically, hold the rear case button for at least five seconds. In the Meta AI app, tap the settings gear, select Add device, and follow the prompts.
When another person needs to pair the glasses
The Ray-Ban FAQ says the glasses can be paired with only one Meta account at a time. Moving them to another person’s account requires a factory reset. A reset is separate from routine troubleshooting and may erase captures, so use the exact current instructions for your confirmed model before resetting.

What the 2026 Meta Glasses announcement does—and does not—confirm
Meta’s June 23, 2026 announcement, updated July 23, describes a Meta Glasses line developed with EssilorLuxottica. Meta says, “Meta Glasses are compatible with prescription lenses.” The announcement names 26 styles at launch and a starting price of $299; these are announcement-era details, not a check of current prices or stock. It also names Meta.com, Best Buy, Amazon, LensCrafters, Sunglass Hut, and other select retailers.

For that announced line, Meta describes open-ear speakers, hands-free photo and video capture, more than eight hours of battery life, and an included portable charging case providing up to 40 additional hours. These are manufacturer claims for the announced 2026 line, not independent test results, and they should not be attributed to an unverified Nova model.
