Bobara is an app from Lotus Apps, LLC for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. Its App Store description presents Momo’s onsen changing with local weather, including rain, snow, wind and thunderstorms, and advertises “Home Screen widgets for your iPhone and Night Stand Mode.” The listing describes a one-time purchase, but the available material does not establish a current price, regional availability or a separate widget fee.
For this guide, “Bobara widget” means the Home Screen widget supplied by the Bobara app. It is not the same object as Apple’s built-in Weather widget, so Apple’s documented location-editing labels may not appear in Bobara. The add-and-place process, however, follows Apple’s normal widget system.

Before you add the widget
- Install Bobara from the App Store on the iPhone or iPad where you want the widget.
- Open Bobara once after installation. This gives iOS an opportunity to register the app’s widget extension before you search for it in the widget gallery.
- Complete any first-run screens the app presents. The exact screens can differ between releases; do not assume a control shown in an older guide is still present.
- Decide which Home Screen page should contain the widget. You can move it later, but choosing the page first reduces repositioning.
- If you want local conditions, be prepared to review Location Services permission. The Bobara listing describes local-weather behavior, while the published material does not specify a separate Bobara location menu.
There is no need to add Apple’s Weather widget first. Bobara can be selected directly from the widget gallery once iOS recognizes the installed app.
Add Bobara to an iPhone Home Screen
1. Install and launch Bobara
- Open the App Store on the iPhone.
- Search for Bobara and verify that the listing identifies Lotus Apps, LLC.
- Install the app, then tap Open and let it finish its initial launch.
Opening the app once is important. If you install Bobara but never launch it, the widget may not appear immediately in the gallery because iOS has not yet registered all of the app’s components.
2. Enter Home Screen editing mode
- Return to the iPhone Home Screen.
- Touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen, or touch and hold an existing widget.
- Keep holding until the app icons begin to jiggle and the Home Screen enters editing mode.
Touching an app icon briefly opens its quick-actions menu instead of entering the layout editor. If that happens, tap outside the menu and press a blank area for longer.

- Tap the Edit or Add control shown at the top of the Home Screen.
- Tap Add Widget.
- Use the search field, or scroll through the app list, and select Bobara.
Apple’s labels can vary slightly by iOS release. The essential path is Home Screen long press, editing mode, Add Widget, then the app name.

4. Choose a Bobara size
- Swipe left or right through the Bobara widget sizes displayed by iOS.
- Stop on the size that fits the amount of Home Screen space you want to dedicate to the scene.
- Tap Add Widget.
Only sizes exposed by the installed Bobara release will appear. If a size shown in a screenshot or article is missing, that does not prove the installation is incomplete; widget choices can change with an app update or a different device layout.
5. Place and save it
- Drag the newly added widget to the desired position while the icons are still jiggling.
- Move it to another Home Screen page if necessary by dragging it toward the edge of the display and waiting for the page to change.
- Tap Done when the widget is in place.
The widget should now occupy the selected space and display Bobara’s weather scene. If the scene does not immediately reflect your conditions, continue to the location and troubleshooting sections rather than repeatedly adding duplicate widgets.
Add Bobara to an iPad Home Screen
1. Install and open the app
- Open the App Store on the iPad.
- Find Bobara, confirm the Lotus Apps, LLC listing, install it and open it once.
Opening the app before editing the Home Screen follows the same preparation used on iPhone and helps iPad discover the widget.

2. Start editing the Home Screen
- Touch and hold an empty area of the iPad Home Screen.
- Wait for the icons to jiggle.
- Tap Add Widget.
Apple documents Home Screen widget placement and editing on iPad. Depending on the iPad layout and iPadOS release, the add control may be presented differently from the iPhone’s top-left control, but the operation remains the same.

3. Select Bobara and a size
- Scroll through the available apps or search for Bobara.
- Tap Bobara to show its available widget sizes.
- Swipe through the sizes, choose one, and tap Add Widget.
iPad’s larger display can make a larger widget practical, but the available choices are determined by Bobara’s installed version. Choose the smallest size that remains legible if you want to preserve room for other apps, or a larger size if the visual scene is the primary reason for adding the widget.
4. Position and finish
- Drag the widget to the Home Screen location you want.
- Move it to another page if needed.
- Tap Done to leave editing mode.
The widget can sit alongside app icons and other widgets. If you later change your mind, re-enter editing mode and drag it to a new position instead of deleting and reinstalling Bobara.
Change or check the weather location
Bobara’s listing says its onsen follows local weather, but it does not publish a Bobara-specific sequence for selecting a city. That distinction matters: Apple’s instructions for changing a location apply to Apple’s Weather widget and may not map one-for-one to Bobara.
If Bobara exposes an Edit Widget control
- Touch and hold the Bobara widget on the Home Screen.
- Look for Edit Widget or a similarly named option.
- Choose the available location field, city or saved place.
- Tap outside the widget or follow the on-screen confirmation to save.
The exact field names depend on the Bobara version. Use the controls actually shown on your device rather than relying on labels from another release.

If no Bobara location control appears
- Open the device’s Settings app and review Privacy & Security followed by Location Services.
- Confirm that Location Services is enabled and that Bobara has an allowed location setting appropriate for the behavior you want.
- Open Bobara itself and check whether it asks for location access on launch or in an in-app settings screen.
- Check the App Store for an available Bobara update.
- Remove and re-add the widget only after the permission and version checks; repeatedly adding it will not correct a missing permission.
Apple documents a location editor for its own Weather widget: touch and hold that widget, tap Edit Weather or Edit Stack, tap My Location, search for a city or choose a saved location, then tap outside the widget. Those labels are useful as a reference for Apple Weather, but they are not evidence that Bobara uses the same menu.

Bobara is not listed in the widget gallery
- Confirm that Bobara is installed on the same device where you are opening the widget gallery.
- Launch Bobara once, return to the Home Screen and try the gallery again.
- Leave and re-enter Home Screen editing mode.
- Check the App Store for an update, then repeat the launch-and-search sequence.
- If Bobara still does not appear, restart the device and check again. The published information does not establish a universal iOS or iPadOS version threshold, so a missing entry after these steps may require support from the app developer.
The widget appears, but weather is not local
- Check Location Services and Bobara’s permission before changing anything else.
- Open Bobara directly to see whether it requests a city, location permission or another first-run choice.
- Touch and hold the widget and look for Edit Widget. If it exists, select the intended city or location.
- Check that the app is current in the App Store.
- Remove the widget, add it again and allow time for the app to refresh its display.
Because no separate Bobara location workflow is published, the exact cause cannot be identified from the widget alone. A permission check and version check are the appropriate first tests.
The widget is the wrong size or in the wrong place
- Touch and hold the Home Screen until the icons jiggle.
- Drag the widget to a different position, or drag it toward the display edge to move it to another page.
- If the current footprint is unsuitable, remove that widget and add Bobara again with another size.
Changing size is a layout operation; it does not require reinstalling the app.

- Swipe through every Home Screen page and check any page where you may have dropped it.
- Use Home Screen editing mode and search the widget gallery to confirm that Bobara remains installed.
- Add it again if it was removed accidentally.
- Open Bobara once more before re-adding it if the gallery does not show the app.
The displayed conditions seem stale
- Open Bobara directly and compare its current scene with the widget.
- Verify location permission and, if available, the widget’s selected city.
- Check for an app update.
- Remove and re-add the widget if it remains out of sync after those checks.
The supplied product description explains what weather conditions Bobara depicts but does not specify a refresh interval or guaranteed update schedule. Do not treat a particular refresh timing as a published Bobara specification.
Move, remove or add another Bobara widget
Move an existing widget
- Touch and hold an empty Home Screen area or the widget itself until the icons jiggle.
- Drag Bobara to the new position or another Home Screen page.
- Tap Done.
Remove the widget without deleting Bobara
- Touch and hold the Bobara widget.
- Tap Remove Widget.
- Confirm the removal if iOS asks.
Removing a widget removes its Home Screen placement, not necessarily the Bobara app. You can add the widget again through Add Widget.
Add more than one placement
If iOS presents Bobara in the widget gallery, you can repeat the add sequence and place another supported size or another copy on a different Home Screen page. The available sizes and any edit controls come from the installed release, so only options displayed on your device should be expected.
