Connect the earbuds to the Soundcore app

Pair the earbuds with your phone in its Bluetooth settings.

Open the Soundcore app and tap Add Device on the left tab. Allow location permission if prompted on first access; Soundcore’s connection guide says it is required for this step. The app should then connect automatically.

If automatic discovery fails, tap Set up Manually > Liberty > soundcore Liberty 5 Pro.
Soundcore’s connection guide says iOS versions below 13, excluding iOS 13, do not support connection to this model. This is the compatibility wording in Soundcore’s guide; it does not establish a broader restriction for other platforms or newer operating-system versions. Personalize the sound
Set up HearID Sound
Sign in to your Soundcore app account, then tap HearID Sound and follow the hearing test. Soundcore says the test result is saved automatically and applied to the earbuds. Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro FAQ

Choose an EQ preset or make your own
Open the app’s sound settings to browse the built-in EQ presets or create a custom EQ. If the sound seems weak or unbalanced, first try different ear-tip sizes; the fit can differ between ears. Also test another track or audio source to help determine whether the issue is the fit, source, or EQ rather than assuming an EQ change will fix it. Soundcore sound-quality tips
Ask support about an alternate sound profile
If you remain dissatisfied after adjusting fit and EQ, Soundcore says you can contact Help & Feedback in the app with the serial number and a brief description of the sound concern. Support may push alternate sound-profile firmware, and Soundcore says it can restore the original profile on request. Customize touch controls and ambient sound
The touch-control area is the logo area on each earbud. Use clean, dry fingers. For a double press, make both taps within 400 ms; for a single press, wait more than one second between taps, as Soundcore advises. Soundcore earbud-control guidance
With both earbuds in use

When using one earbud
Single-earbud controls are configured separately from stereo controls. By default, double-press plays or pauses, and long-press switches ambient sound. Single press and triple press can be customized in the app. Soundcore earbud-control guidance
Other useful app and case settings

Find settings: The model FAQ lists battery levels, ambient sound, sound effects including Dolby Audio, Easy Chat, remote camera, device finding, and Bluetooth pairing for multi-device connection. The FAQ says the earbuds can connect to up to three devices. Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro FAQ

Change the case language: Go to App > More Settings > Case Language. Soundcore lists Simplified Chinese, English, Japanese, German, Traditional Chinese, and Arabic.

Unlock the case screen: Open the case, or swipe upward on its screen while the case is closed.

Power the earbuds off automatically: Opening the case lid with the earbuds inside turns them on; returning them to the case and closing the lid turns them off. Outside the case, they power off after 30 minutes of inactivity by default. To change that setting, go to More Settings > Auto Power Off.

Fix app connection or control problems
If the app cannot find or connect to the earbuds

Try the manual selection path: Set up Manually > Liberty > soundcore Liberty 5 Pro.

Temporarily disconnect other Bluetooth devices from the phone and try again.

If the earbuds are connected through the app on another phone, fully exit the Soundcore app on that phone before connecting from the new one.

If the problem continues, uninstall and reinstall the Soundcore app, then restart the phone and try again. Soundcore recommends reinstalling rather than simply overwriting the existing app installation; it also suggests trying another device.

If none of these steps works, contact Soundcore support and provide your phone model, app version, a screenshot, and app logs.
