To set up an abandoned-cart email in Hostinger Reach, connect your WordPress site, make sure WooCommerce is active, then open Automations → E-commerce → Abandoned Cart. Add an email action and publish the automation. Hostinger’s current guide describes a one-hour checkout-abandonment trigger, and the reminder is sent only to Reach subscribers. A direct “Return to Cart” link is not currently supported, so link to your store or shop page instead.
What you need before you start
- A WordPress site connected to Hostinger Reach.
- The Hostinger Reach plugin installed and active on the site.
- WooCommerce installed and active.
- Customers must be Reach subscribers to receive these marketing emails.
Hostinger says that once the integration is active, Reach tracks WooCommerce checkout and purchase activity automatically; you do not need to configure those tracking events manually. The setup guide describes an abandoned checkout as a customer starting checkout, not completing payment, and then leaving the checkout unfinished for one hour. Simply adding an item to a cart is not enough, according to the guide. Hostinger’s WooCommerce abandoned-cart setup guide

Connect WordPress to Hostinger Reach
The connection steps depend on where the WordPress site is hosted. Reach supports sites hosted by Hostinger and by other providers.

| Hostinger | In Reach, go to Email marketing → Integrations → WordPress, select the site, and continue to WordPress Admin. The plugin may be installed automatically. |
| Another provider | Choose Reach’s option to connect a site hosted elsewhere, then install and activate the Hostinger Reach plugin in WordPress and connect the site. If one-click connection is unavailable, use the manual API-token method documented in the integration guide. |
Follow the current steps in Hostinger’s WordPress integration guide. If you manage more than one WordPress site, note that the guide says one site can be managed at a time per Reach account.

Set up the abandoned-cart automation
- Verify the integration. Confirm that the Hostinger Reach plugin is active and that the correct WordPress site is connected.
- Check WooCommerce. Make sure WooCommerce is installed and active. If Reach reports that it is missing, install or activate it in WordPress. For a site hosted outside Hostinger, also check the WooCommerce integration in the Reach plugin settings.
- Open the automation. In Reach, go to Automations → E-commerce → Abandoned Cart. Hostinger describes the trigger as preconfigured.
- Add the email action. Choose an existing email template or create a new one for the reminder.
- Publish or activate the automation. Once active, eligible subscribers who meet the trigger conditions can receive the configured email.
Hostinger’s guide states, “The trigger is preconfigured — no adjustments needed.” The trigger described there waits one hour after a customer starts checkout without completing payment. See the current setup guide
Write a reminder that works with the current link limitation
Hostinger’s guide says a direct “Return to Cart” link is not yet supported. Do not promise that the email will open a personalized or prefilled cart. Instead, make the reminder clear and link its call to action to your website or shop page, where the customer can resume shopping manually.
Rank #2
Hostinger gives examples such as “You left something behind,” “Your cart is waiting,” and “Complete your purchase.” These are sample themes from its support guide, not evidence of particular performance. The guide describes direct cart-return functionality as a future capability, so check its current status before relying on it in a campaign.
Consent and eligibility
Reach sends these messages only to contacts who have subscribed. The WooCommerce integration can support collecting marketing consent through the checkout subscription form; a customer checking out or entering an email address does not by itself make them eligible for a Reach marketing email. See Hostinger’s WordPress integration guide for the integration details.
Quick Recap
Best Value
Rank #3
If the automation is unavailable
- Reach says WooCommerce is required: verify WooCommerce is installed and active, then check the plugin’s WooCommerce integration settings if your site is hosted elsewhere.
- You cannot connect with one click: use the manual API-token connection steps in Hostinger’s WordPress integration guide.
- A shopper does not receive a reminder: confirm the automation is active, the shopper began checkout and did not complete payment within the trigger window, and the contact is subscribed in Reach.
- You need a cart-specific return link: the current setup guide says this link type is unsupported; use a general link to your store or shop page.
