You can turn a playlist of Tamil podcast episodes you have permission to broadcast into a continuous YouTube Live stream by sending playback through an encoder to a broadcast created in YouTube Studio. Before launch, verify the channel’s eligibility, clear rights for every episode and asset, test playback and transitions, and decide how you will monitor and recover the stream. YouTube supports encoder streaming, but the precise playlist-looping controls depend on the playback method you choose.
Before you set up the stream
Check YouTube Live eligibility
YouTube says a channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days to go live. YouTube also states that the minimum age to live stream is 16. Check the channel’s current status and the latest requirements in YouTube Help before preparing the broadcast.

Clear rights for every part of the playlist
Confirm that you have permission to broadcast each episode continuously to the public. Check not only the podcast recording, but also music, guest recordings, artwork, video, and any background material included in the stream. The rights you hold must cover this use; a private or unlisted test does not clear material for a later public broadcast. Live streams remain subject to YouTube’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service, and YouTube may age-restrict or remove streams that violate its rules.
Prepare the episode sequence
Arrange the episodes in the order you want them to play and decide what viewers should see between and during episodes—for example, episode artwork or a title card if your playback setup supports it. Verify that the playlist contains only the material you intend to broadcast. The exact method for sequencing and looping files depends on the playback application or encoder; YouTube’s general encoder guidance does not prescribe one universal playlist tool.

Create the YouTube broadcast
-
Open YouTube Studio and create or schedule a live broadcast. Choose the encoder workflow for sending the program.
-
Open the broadcast’s live control room and retrieve the connection details YouTube provides for that specific stream. Use those current settings rather than relying on an old saved configuration. Keep the stream key private: anyone who obtains it may be able to send a feed to your broadcast.
-
Configure your chosen encoder and playback method to send the Tamil podcast program to the broadcast. Google describes RTMPS as RTMP carried over an SSL connection; follow the protocol and other connection settings shown for your broadcast. RTMPS is not a universal recommendation for every workflow.

YouTube documents encoder streaming, but the reviewed guidance does not specify one required encoder or a universal set of application controls for looping podcast episodes. Consult the documentation for the encoder and playback method you select.
Test continuity before going public
Run a private or unlisted test before launch. This is a practical check, not a substitute for rights clearance or a YouTube eligibility requirement. Watch and listen through episode transitions, then test what happens if playback stops or the network connection is interrupted.
-
Confirm that the audio is audible and consistent, without unintended silence or overlapping episodes.

Verify the episode order and determine whether playback resumes or loops as you expect.
-
Simulate or observe a playback or network interruption and confirm that someone knows how to restore the feed.
Choose how the stream will stay online
Run a local encoder
A locally hosted encoder gives you direct control over playback and the live feed. The computer, playback application, power, and internet connection all need to remain available, and you need a plan to notice and fix failures. This can suit a creator who can keep the setup running and monitor it.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Use managed cloud streaming
A cloud workflow can remove the need to leave a home computer running, but evaluate the specific provider before relying on it. Confirm that it supports continuous playback of your own episodes to YouTube Live, playlist looping, monitoring, recovery after delivery interruptions, and terms and costs that fit your use. These capabilities vary by provider; do not assume that any service offers them without checking.

Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is a YouTube-only cloud service for keeping a channel live from uploaded videos. Upload your Tamil podcast recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; it streams your uploads as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot regardless of quality, and automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly billing is $9.99 per month. Start your free first day with StreamNeo.
Plan for interruptions and stream limits
A continuous broadcast needs a way to detect a failed feed and restore it. With a local setup, decide who will check the stream and how they will restart playback or reconnect the encoder. With managed hosting, verify the provider’s actual monitoring and recovery behavior instead of assuming it is automatic.
YouTube’s currently documented concurrency limits are 10 active streams per channel and three active streams per stream key. Both limits apply at once, so they matter if you operate parallel broadcasts; they are unlikely to affect a single ordinary stream. See YouTube’s live encoder settings and stream limits for current guidance.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsTroubleshoot common setup problems
YouTube will not let the channel go live
Check channel verification and whether a live-streaming restriction occurred within the previous 90 days. Review YouTube’s current eligibility guidance and address any account issue before trying to launch again.

The control room does not receive the encoder feed
Confirm that the encoder is using the connection details for the broadcast you created, including the stream key and the protocol and settings shown in the control room. Check the encoder’s connection status and internet access. If you replace or regenerate a key, update the encoder configuration to match.
The stream starts but episodes do not advance or loop
Check the playback application’s playlist order, end-of-file behavior, and repeat setting. Because looping controls are application-specific, use that application’s documentation and verify the behavior in a test broadcast before going public.
The stream stops after the computer or network fails
A local encoder depends on the computer, power, playback process, and connection remaining available. Restore the failed component, reconnect the encoder if needed, and confirm the feed returns in YouTube Studio. If interruptions are difficult to monitor or recover from locally, compare a managed cloud workflow and verify its recovery terms.
YouTube removes or restricts the broadcast
Review the stream for rights issues and policy violations. Recheck permissions for episode audio, guests, music, artwork, and other included assets, and consult YouTube’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. A test broadcast does not authorize material for a public continuous stream.
