You can rebroadcast a recorded podcast as a YouTube Live event over JioFiber using OBS or another encoder: schedule an encoder stream in YouTube Studio, enter that event’s stream details in the encoder, and send the episode over a tested internet connection. Use Ethernet to the Jio Home Gateway when practical, choose settings based on measured upload performance, and rehearse before going public. JioFiber does not guarantee a particular sustained upload speed for your stream.
Before you schedule the rerun
Check YouTube Live eligibility
Confirm live streaming is enabled for your channel in YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. YouTube’s getting-started guidance says a channel must be verified, must not have had a live-stream restriction in the previous 90 days, and the person going live must be at least 16. Check current eligibility before planning the event.

Clear the episode and its assets
Make sure you have the rights needed for the podcast recording and everything in the stream, including music, clips, guest material, artwork, and any visual elements. YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches. A licensed recording can still be interrupted if the rights holder has not allowlisted your channel in Content ID. See YouTube’s live copyright guidance.

- Open YouTube Studio and go to the Live Control Room.
- Create or schedule a broadcast and select the encoder method.
- Copy the ingestion/server URL and stream key YouTube provides for that event into your encoder. Treat the stream key like a password: do not publish it, share it, or leave it visible in a screenshot.
YouTube’s Studio interface can change, so follow the current prompts rather than relying on a fixed screen layout. Use the event-specific details shown in Studio; do not assume a key from another event is appropriate.
#1 Best Overall
- [Natural Audio Clarity] Operated with frequency response of 50Hz-16KHz, the podcasting XLR mic delivers balanced audio range, likely to resonate with your audience. Directional cardioid dynamic microphone corded will not exaggerate your voice, while rejects unwanted off-axis noise for vocal originality and intelligibility during your PS5 gaming streaming video recording. - [XLR Connection Upgrade-Ability] To use XLR connection, connect the podcast microphone to an audio interface (or mixer) using a separate XLR cable (NOT Included) . Well-connected and smooth operation improves audio flexibility to make you explore various types of music recording singing. The streaming mic isolates the pristine and accurate sound from ambient noise with greater no interference and fidelity. (RGB and function key on mic are INACTIVE when using XLR connection.)
- [USB Connection with Handy Mute] Skip the hassle of setting something up and plug the cable to play the dynamic USB microphone directly, which suits for beginner creators or daily podcast. You can quickly control the gamer mic with tap-to-mute that is independent of computer/Macbook programs to keep privacy when live streaming. LED mute reminder helps you get rid of forgetting to cancel the mute. (RGB and function key are only available for USB connection, but NOT for XLR connection)

Get the desired level via monitoring volume control when gaming recording. Smooth mic gain knob on the PC microphone gaming has some resistance to the point, easily for audio attenuation or boost presence to less post-production audio. (Only available for USB connection)
Configure OBS for a podcast rerun
- In OBS, add the recorded episode as a media source. Set its playback and restart or loop behavior to suit the event: a single scheduled rerun should play once, while a repeating stream needs the source to restart as intended.
- Use a simple scene, such as episode artwork with a subtle waveform or timer. Add the episode audio and confirm the OBS audio meter moves during playback.
- In OBS streaming settings, enter the server/ingestion URL and stream key from YouTube Studio. Select RTMPS where available. YouTube recommends RTMPS; it is RTMP carried through an SSL connection. See Google’s RTMPS ingestion documentation.
- Set video and audio output, then check the preview for the correct image, audio, and synchronization before starting the event. OBS notes that meeting minimum hardware requirements does not guarantee streaming performance; encoder choice, resolution, frame rate, and scene complexity all affect computer load. See OBS system requirements.
Choose resolution, frame rate, and bitrate
YouTube recommends CBR bitrate encoding and a two-second keyframe interval; do not exceed four seconds. Its current encoder-settings guidance lists these H.264 bitrate recommendations (accessed 2026):
| Output | YouTube recommended bitrate |
|---|---|
| 240p–720p at 30 fps | 4 Mbps |
| 720p at 60 fps | 6 Mbps |
| 1080p at 30 fps | 10 Mbps |
| 1080p at 60 fps | 12 Mbps |
These are encoder bitrate recommendations, not a guarantee that a particular JioFiber connection can sustain them. Measure upload performance at the computer and leave headroom for fluctuations and other network use. For a mostly static podcast image, 60 fps may add little; weigh resolution and frame rate against upload stability and computer load. YouTube transcodes incoming streams for viewers, so you do not need to encode a separate version for every playback quality. The YouTube encoder settings guidance recommends testing upload bitrate and testing before the stream.

Connect and test JioFiber
Use a wired connection where possible
Connect the streaming computer to a LAN port on the Jio Home Gateway with an Ethernet cable if practical. Jio describes wired LAN as faster and more stable than Wi-Fi; its guidance does not certify the upload performance of an individual subscriber’s line. Check that your computer has a compatible Ethernet port or adapter and choose a cable long enough to reach the gateway. If you must use Wi-Fi, work near the gateway and reduce competing uploads.
Rehearse under event conditions
- Run an upload speed test from the same computer and connection you plan to use. A plan’s advertised speed is not a substitute for measuring upload performance at broadcast time.
- Run an unlisted or private rehearsal where practical, using representative episode audio and visuals.
- Check OBS for dropped frames, encoder overload, audio clipping or silence, and sync problems. Watch YouTube Live Control Room for stream-health indicators, buffering, and warnings.
- If the rehearsal is unstable, lower the resolution or bitrate and repeat the test. Keep Live Control Room open during the public event so you can respond to health messages.
JioFiber upload speed, latency, congestion, router model, and reliability vary by connection and conditions; the available service guidance does not establish a guaranteed upload rate for this use. Jio’s prepaid terms search result mentions a 3300 GB commercial use policy on Truly Unlimited plans, but that alone does not establish whether it applies to your plan or account. For frequent or extended reruns, check the current terms for your specific service.

Troubleshoot common problems
- YouTube does not accept the stream: Confirm Live is enabled, the event is set up for encoder streaming, and OBS has the server URL and stream key for that event. Replace an exposed key in YouTube Studio.
- Stream health reports dropped frames or buffering: Repeat the upload test under actual conditions, reduce competing uploads, use Ethernet if available, and lower bitrate or resolution until the rehearsal is stable.
- OBS reports encoder overload: Reduce output resolution or frame rate, simplify the scene, or choose an encoder option appropriate for the computer. Hardware compatibility alone does not guarantee smooth output.
- Viewers hear silence, clipping, or out-of-sync audio: Verify the media source is playing, the OBS meter responds, the correct audio is routed to the stream, and the episode remains synchronized during a full rehearsal.
- YouTube interrupts the episode: Review the copyright or Community Guidelines notice. Live matching can trigger a placeholder, warning, temporary interruption, or termination. If you have a license for third-party material, ask the rights holder to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist.
Or let it run in the cloud
For a YouTube rerun that should keep going without a computer running at home, StreamNeo is a cloud option: upload the recording, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It loops uploaded videos in the cloud, with automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. Every quality up to 4K 60fps is streamed as uploaded at one flat price per slot; there are no quality tiers. The first day is free with no card. Monthly billing is $9.99 per month. It is for uploaded videos, not camera streaming, and sends to YouTube only. Start the free first day with StreamNeo.
