To set up and map a LUBA 3 AWD 3000, first place and connect the charging station and RTK antenna as directed in the exact manual for your unit, then use the Mammotion app to create a map. Choose automatic mapping for a neat, level lawn with clear edges and grass under 10 cm (4 in); use manual mapping when the boundary is complicated or needs careful steering.
Before you start
Check the model label and use the current manual for your specific LUBA 3 AWD variant. Mammotion’s support index lists the English LUBA 3 AWD_User Manual V4.0_EN_202608. The manual is the place to confirm the exact installation, clearance, power, pairing, and safety requirements for your machine.

Choose a mapping method

Create the lawn map
Start a new map
- Open the Mammotion app. Start from “Start Mapping” on the homepage, or open the mower’s device page and choose “Create Map.”
- Select automatic or manual mapping based on the lawn conditions in the table above.
For manual mapping, trace and close the boundary
- Use the app joystick to guide the mower around the lawn’s boundary.
- Keep the route about 1.5 m from the actual boundary, as Mammotion recommends.
- Bring the finish point back to the start so the route forms a complete loop.
For automatic mapping, mark additional lawn areas
- Start automatic mapping on a suitable first lawn area.
- For each additional area, guide the mower to that lawn and turn it to face the direction you want it to mow.
- Tap “Mark” for each additional area. Once all areas have been marked, tap “Start Mapping.”
When the app displays “Your lawn has been mapped successfully!”, tap “Finish.” This is the completion prompt transcribed in Mammotion’s mapping guide.
Configure the map and check for app changes
After mapping, Mammotion’s setup overview describes configuring zones, cutting height, and cutting patterns, with stripes and checkerboard patterns as examples. The available controls can depend on your app and firmware version.
