You can broadcast Assamese devotional songs continuously on YouTube using an encoder-based stream, provided your channel is eligible, your program is ready, and you have rights for every recording and composition you use. YouTube supports encoder streaming, but a 24/7 setup still needs a plan for keeping the program and equipment running, monitoring the broadcast, and responding if YouTube interrupts it.
1. Check that your YouTube channel can go live
- Verify your channel before the planned start. YouTube requires a verified channel and no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility requirements.
- If this is your first live stream, allow at least 24 hours after verification before you plan to broadcast; YouTube for Artists gives this guidance for first-time music channels. Check YouTube for Artists’ music-channel guidance.
- Confirm that the person operating the stream meets YouTube’s minimum age requirement: live streamers must be at least 16 years old.
2. Prepare the songs and visuals
Assemble the continuous program you want viewers to hear and see. Check the order, audio levels, transitions, and any accompanying artwork or video before scheduling the broadcast. Choose a visual that you have permission to use for the full stream; a static devotional image or a prepared visual sequence can accompany the songs.

YouTube’s encoder guidance does not specify a particular playlist-looping app, audio level, or 24/7 scheduling recipe. Choose software or equipment that can repeat your program and keep the encoder running, and test that workflow end to end before relying on it for a long broadcast. A dedicated hardware encoder is not mandatory; encoder software on a suitable computer is another option. 3. Clear rights for every song and recording
Before going live, confirm that you have permission or another valid basis to use both the underlying composition and the particular recording or performance. A song’s Assamese or devotional character does not establish that it is public domain or cleared for a live broadcast. Rights also need to cover the uses you intend, including live streaming, rebroadcasting, and any saved archive.

YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A detected match can cause a placeholder image to replace the stream, interrupt the broadcast, or lead to termination. If you have a license for third-party music, ask the rights owner to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist: a license alone may not prevent a live interruption if your channel is not allowlisted. YouTube for Artists also recommends coordinating with a label or distributor when using copyright-protected music in a live stream. 4. Create the YouTube stream and connect your encoder
- Open YouTube Studio and go to Create > Go live to enter Live Control Room. Create or schedule a stream and choose the encoder workflow.
- In Live Control Room, copy the stream destination and stream key shown for that stream into your encoder’s YouTube streaming settings. Use the destination YouTube provides; YouTube documents RTMPS ingestion for encoder streams in its encoder streaming setup guidance.
- Keep the stream key private. Treat it like a password: anyone who obtains it may be able to send a feed to your stream. Do not publish it in a playlist description, video, screenshot, or public chat.
- Set the encoder to send the prepared program, then confirm in Live Control Room that YouTube is receiving the feed and that the audio and visuals look right before starting the public broadcast.
YouTube’s documentation supports the encoder workflow, but it does not establish one universal bitrate, resolution, keyframe interval, or looping configuration for every encoder and connection. Use the values and compatibility guidance displayed for your chosen encoder and YouTube stream, then verify the actual incoming feed in Live Control Room.

5. Test, launch, and monitor the broadcast
- Run a test with the actual encoder, network connection, playlist, audio, and visual. Check for silence, clipping, gaps between songs, frozen imagery, and unexpected stops.
- Once the feed is ready, start the broadcast from the encoder and confirm the status in Live Control Room.
- Keep an eye on stream status and copyright notices. A long-running stream is not a set-and-forget guarantee: power, network, encoder, and copyright problems can all disrupt it.
- Consider backup power or a second internet connection if an outage would be costly. These can reduce some operational risks, but they do not guarantee uninterrupted streaming.
6. Troubleshoot common interruptions
