To run a 24/7 devotional stream on a Hindu community YouTube channel, enable live streaming, create a broadcast in YouTube Studio, and send a prepared playlist or live service through an encoder such as OBS. Before going live, clear rights to every song and visual, test upload capacity and monitoring, and decide how you will handle interruptions and archives. If you prefer not to leave a computer running, a cloud service such as StreamNeo can loop uploaded videos to YouTube.
Choose what the channel will broadcast
First decide whether the stream will show a live service or loop prepared devotional media. That choice determines what equipment you need.

- Prepared media loop: A computer running an encoder, a reliable internet connection, and the video or audio-visual files may be enough. A camera and microphone are not automatically necessary.
- Live service: Plan for the camera, microphones, mixer or other capture hardware needed to send the service’s sound and picture to the encoder.
Make sure the channel is verified, has no live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days, and meets YouTube’s stated minimum age requirement for streamers. First-time live access can take up to 24 hours to activate, so do not leave activation until the day of the service.
Clear the rights to every part of the stream
Prepare a rights inventory for each song recording, performance, backing track, image, video, and other third-party element. Confirm that permissions cover the live broadcast and any archive or replay you plan to make available. A devotional or religious purpose does not by itself establish permission to use a recording.

- Compact but Powerful Design: ZowieBox is smaller than a phone, featuring a tally light and LCD screen for streaming status. Capture console gameplay in up to 4K with zero-lag HDMI passthrough, while the built-in video encoder converts video for IP streaming. The IP stream can also be decoded back to a 4K HDMI signal.
- Standalone Game Streaming: Just plug and play—ZowieBox enables PC-free live gaming without affecting gameplay. As an RTMP hardware encoder and HDMI streamer, it delivers stable streaming directly from your source, making it ideal for gaming, live events, and professional broadcasting.
- NDI|HX3 Converter Technology: ZowieBox converts HDMI signals to NDI|HX3/HX2/HX, functioning as an NDI video encoder, or NDI Video Decoder for flexible IP workflows. Certified NDI technology enables low-latency gameplay streaming through OBS/vMix. Note: Encoder and decoder modes cannot run simultaneously; full NDI signals are not supported.
- UVC to HDMI Conversion: Supporting up to 4K@30fps and 1080p@60fps decoding, ZowieBox enables flexible conversion for webcam and video workflows. As a video decoder and HDMI to IP converter, it expands connectivity options for professional video devices. Note: USB capture card functionality is not currently supported.
- All-around Configuration Options: Control ZowieBox through its web UI on a PC, phone, or tablet. Manage connected PTZ cameras, tally light, video/audio, OSD, work mode, streams, network, and system settings. Support for VISCA over IP encoder workflows enables flexible PTZ control, while the dashboard provides video preview and system status.
YouTube says it scans all live streams for matches to third-party content, including another live broadcast. A stream can be interrupted or terminated if a match is identified and unresolved. Even when you have a licence, the rights holder may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist; otherwise, the live stream may still be interrupted. YouTube for Artists recommends coordinating with a label or distributor when using protected music. Confirm the rights workflow with the relevant rights holders rather than assuming a licence alone prevents automated interruption.
Set up YouTube Studio and the encoder
- Open the Live Control Room. In YouTube Studio, select Create, then Go Live. Create or schedule the broadcast and follow the Live Control Room prompts.
- Install an encoder. YouTube supports software encoders and standalone hardware encoders. OBS is an open-source software option available at no charge.
- Connect the encoder privately. Copy the stream URL and stream key from YouTube Studio into the encoder’s stream settings. Keep the key private: anyone with access to it may be able to send a feed to your broadcast.
- Choose the source and output. Add the prepared media playlist or the live audio and video capture sources. Select an output resolution and bitrate that your connection can sustain and that meet YouTube’s current requirements; those values depend on the chosen output, so verify the current platform guidance instead of relying on a universal setting.
- Send a preview and start the broadcast. Check the preview in Live Control Room before going live. Starting the encoder may not start a scheduled broadcast by itself: depending on the settings, the operator may also need to select Go Live in the Control Room.
Check the connection and plan for interruptions
Test the actual outbound upload capacity where the encoder will run; download speed is not a substitute. YouTube recommends keeping total outgoing bitrate below available upload capacity with 20% headroom. On a shared community or office connection, other users can reduce the capacity available to the encoder. A wired Ethernet connection is an optional way to connect if the computer and network support it, not a guarantee against outages.

- 【Browser-Based Setup in Minutes】 Set up in minutes through any browser — no software, drivers or OS compatibility issues. DHCP is enabled by default to prevent IP address conflicts on your network. Note: basic networking knowledge (IP address, RTSP/RTMP configuration) is recommended for advanced streaming setups.
- 【Compact Design with Flexible Deployment】Palm-sized form factor (approx. 90×54×29mm) fits easily behind monitors, on shelves, or in equipment racks. Low power consumption ensures reliable 24/7 operation for live events, remote monitoring, and digital signage.
- 【Professional Audio & OSD Overlay + 1-Year Warranty】 Supports HDMI embedded audio plus external 3.5mm input. Built-in OSD generator adds scrolling text, logos, or timestamps directly to the video stream — ideal for branding, event info, or security labeling. Backed by a 1-year warranty and 24/7 online technical support.
- Run a full test with the intended media or live-service equipment before launch.
- Inspect the Live Control Room preview and check picture and sound on a phone using the viewer page.
- Decide who will monitor the stream and receive or act on outage alerts.
- If interruptions are unacceptable, evaluate and test a backup encoder. YouTube’s event-focused guidance discusses backup encoder testing, but it does not establish one universal failover setup for continuous 24/7 streams.
YouTube warns that a connectivity disruption can break a stream. A successful test reduces avoidable surprises; it does not ensure an uninterrupted broadcast.
Plan the archive separately from the live stream
YouTube’s current encoder instructions say streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not assume that one uninterrupted 24-hour broadcast will produce a complete automatic replay. If the community needs recordings, decide whether to end and restart shorter broadcasts or record locally, then verify how the chosen workflow behaves in YouTube Studio. Make sure the rights permissions also cover those recordings and replays.
