You can run Bengali bhajans continuously on YouTube by enabling live streaming for your channel, clearing the rights to every recording, and sending a prepared playlist through an encoder connected to YouTube Studio. The main operational challenge is keeping the encoder, network, and monitoring in place: YouTube’s guidance does not guarantee an uninterrupted, indefinitely running broadcast.
Before you begin: check channel eligibility and rights
Enable live streaming early
YouTube’s current guidance says the channel must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days. The person livestreaming must be at least 16. First-time live-stream enablement may take up to 24 hours, so activate it before announcing a launch. Check YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance and encoder setup instructions before you start; requirements and Studio workflows can change.

Clear both the recording and the composition
A devotional subject, an old song, or a description such as “traditional” does not prove that a particular recording is free to use. The sound recording and the underlying composition can have separate rights. Get permission for the livestream and any replay or archive use, and ask the relevant rights holder to allowlist your channel through Content ID if the licensed music is matched.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content, including other live broadcasts. A match can replace the picture with a placeholder; if the matched content remains, YouTube may interrupt or terminate the stream. A copyright or Community Guidelines strike can also end it, and an archived stream may receive a Content ID claim after the broadcast. Choose how to send the playlist
YouTube supports software encoders running on a computer and standalone hardware encoders. For a preassembled bhajan playlist, an encoder is the practical route because it sends the prepared audio and visuals to YouTube. You do not need to buy a particular device: YouTube also says expensive equipment is not necessary to begin.

OBS is one software option. Its help portal links to an x264 encoding guide, but there is no one verified bitrate, resolution, frame rate, or computer specification established for every Bengali bhajan stream. Choose settings that your encoder, upload connection, and current YouTube ingest guidance support, then test the actual stream before relying on it. Do not assume a setting is suitable simply because it worked for a different channel or network.

Create the YouTube stream and connect your encoder
- Open Live Control Room. In YouTube Studio, choose Create → Go Live. Create a stream, or use the Manage tab to schedule one if viewers should be able to find it in advance.
- Copy the connection details. In the stream settings, copy YouTube’s stream URL/server and stream key into the matching fields in your encoder. Treat the key like a password: anyone with access to it may be able to connect an encoder to your broadcast. Do not put it in the description or show it in the video.
- Assign your sources. In the encoder, select the rights-cleared bhajan playlist for audio and the artwork or other visuals you intend to show. YouTube’s connection instructions explain how to connect an encoder; the playlist and visual setup are choices you make in your production software.
- Start sending and check the preview. Start the encoder and wait for the incoming preview in Live Control Room. Listen to the actual audio, inspect the picture, and confirm the public watch page plays on a mobile device as well as your operator’s screen.
- Go live and end cleanly. For a scheduled broadcast, start the encoder, confirm the preview, and then use Live Control Room to go live. When you finish, end the stream in Studio and stop sending content from the encoder. Follow YouTube’s encoder setup guide if the current interface differs.
Plan for continuous operation
“24/7” is an operating goal, not a promise that YouTube will keep one session alive indefinitely. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived; that does not establish that a continuous 24-hour session will become one replay or that a particular restart method guarantees an uninterrupted channel. Decide who will watch the feed, respond to failures, and restart or replace the encoder connection.

- Confirm the playlist advances and the audio is audible, at an appropriate level, and free from unintended silence.
- Check the stream’s health and the viewer-facing watch page, including playback on a mobile device.
- Review encoder and network alerts; know who is on duty and how they can restore the feed.
- Test the backup or recovery procedure before relying on it, and keep the stream key available only to authorized operators.
- Keep checking rights status and channel notices rather than assuming a previously accepted recording will never be matched.
