For The India Cements Limited, search the NSE symbol INDIACEM. In Zerodha Kite, open that instrument and create a condition-based alert for its last traded price, percentage change or another supported parameter. Separately, use Kite’s event tag and More > Fundamentals to watch for scheduled financial results, then verify the actual announcement and filing on the NSE quote page. An alert is only a notification; it does not place or confirm a trade.
Confirm the correct India Cements instrument first
The company you want is The India Cements Limited, listed on the National Stock Exchange of India under INDIACEM. Entering the company name rather than relying on an abbreviated search result helps avoid selecting a similarly named instrument, an unlisted security or a different exchange listing.

What to check in the search result
- The full issuer name is The India Cements Limited.
- The exchange shown is NSE when your plan is to monitor the NSE listing.
- The symbol is INDIACEM, spelled in capitals.
- The quote screen shows live or delayed-market status according to your account and market hours.
Once the quote page is open, add the instrument to the relevant Marketwatch list. Keeping one clearly labelled entry for the NSE listing makes it less likely that an alert will be attached to the wrong security.
Set a price alert in Zerodha Kite
Kite describes these as real-time alerts based on parameters such as price, volume and percentage changes. They notify you when a condition is met; they are not orders. You can create them in the mobile app or on the web version.
#1 Best Overall
Mobile app procedure
- Open Kite and go to the Marketwatch list containing INDIACEM, or search for The India Cements Limited and open its quote screen.
- Tap the instrument’s menu and choose Set alert.
- Give the alert a name that explains both the condition and its purpose, such as “INDIACEM above ₹X” or “INDIACEM daily move.” A descriptive name is useful when several alerts are active.
- Choose the property to monitor. Depending on the condition you need, this can include last traded price, volume or percentage change.
- Select the comparison operator, such as greater than, less than or the equivalent option displayed by the app.
- Enter the threshold. For a price condition, use the rupee value at which you want to be notified; for a percentage condition, enter the percentage supplied by the interface.
- Review the instrument, property, operator and value, then create the alert.
The exact labels and layout can change as Kite is updated, but the logic remains the same: instrument, monitored property, comparison and threshold. If you cannot find Set alert, return to the quote or Marketwatch instrument menu rather than the order-entry screen.
Web procedure
- Sign in to Kite on the web and open the Marketwatch containing INDIACEM.
- Select the instrument and open the More menu.
- Choose Create Alert.
- Name the alert, select the parameter, choose the comparison operator and enter the threshold.
- Submit the alert and check the alert list to confirm that it is active.
Useful alert designs
- Price ceiling: a greater-than condition can tell you when INDIACEM moves above a level you are watching.
- Price floor: a less-than condition can flag a fall through a level that matters to your plan.
- Percentage move: a percentage condition can be more portable than a fixed rupee level when the share price changes materially.
- Volume change: a volume-based condition can draw attention to unusually active trading, but it does not explain why the activity occurred.
Use a threshold that represents a decision you are prepared to make. An alert should lead you to review the quote, announcement or filing; it should not be treated as a signal that a buy or sell is automatically appropriate.
Price alert versus an automated order
A standard Kite alert is informational. When the condition is met, Kite can notify you in the app and by email, but you still decide whether to investigate or place an order. It does not prove that an order was submitted, accepted or filled.
Recommended Free Tools
Kite documents a separate feature called an Alert Trigger Order. That feature is designed for an order-trigger workflow, whereas Set alert is for notification. Read the order details, validity and risk disclosures in the trading platform before using any trigger-based order. Do not assume that creating a price alert will protect a position, execute at the threshold or guarantee a particular execution price.

Track India Cements’ scheduled quarterly results in Kite
Scheduled-event information is a reminder, not the legal record of publication. Kite places an event tag beside a holding or Marketwatch item when a relevant financial result is scheduled. Zerodha’s event documentation says the financial-result tag can appear from three days before through one day after the scheduled event.
Find the event tag
- Open the Marketwatch list or holdings view where INDIACEM appears.
- Look beside the instrument for the financial-result or event tag.
- Open the event details to see the scheduled date shown by the platform.
- Use the tag as a prompt to check the company’s exchange announcement, especially if the date is close or the market is moving.
Use the stock-specific Fundamentals view
- Open the INDIACEM instrument page.
- Choose More > Fundamentals.
- Review the upcoming stock-specific events and any result date displayed there.
- Record the date in your own calendar if the release matters to your trading plan, and recheck it before relying on it.
Companies can change a board-meeting or results schedule. A missing tag does not prove that no result is due, and a displayed date does not guarantee that the filing will appear at that exact time. Treat the app calendar as an advance notice and the exchange filing as the authoritative confirmation.
Verify results and announcements on the NSE quote page
For the definitive record, open the NSE quote page for INDIACEM. The quote area provides access to corporate announcements, financial-result records, annual reports and the event calendar. This is where you can check whether an announcement has actually been filed and read the attached document rather than relying on a headline in a trading app.

- Announcement date and time: establish when the exchange received the filing.
- Period covered: confirm the quarter and financial year, because a “Q4” headline without a year can be misleading.
- Unaudited or audited status: note the designation shown in the filing.
- Consolidated or standalone figures: determine which set of accounts the headline refers to.
- Attachments: open the financial statements, notes and board-resolution document where supplied.
- Other corporate announcements: check for board meetings, dividends, capacity updates or regulatory notices that may change the interpretation of the numbers.
Latest surfaced fourth-quarter filing
The NSE integrated filing record for India Cements identifies the fourth-quarter FY2025-26 results as approved by the board on 25 April 2026. The record marks those results as quarterly and audited. That date is the approval date in the filing record, not a promise that every future fourth-quarter result will be published on the same calendar day.
When comparing this filing with an earlier quarter, use the statement period and accounting labels in the document. A one-line app summary may omit exceptional items, tax effects, subsidiary results or notes that materially affect the figures.
Keep notifications working
Kite alerts and exchange-event reminders are separate from the regulatory account notifications that protect you from unrecognized activity. SEBI investor guidance says investors can opt for free SMS and email alerts for trading or transaction activity in their trading and demat accounts when their mobile number and email address are kept updated with their broker and depository participant.
Account-maintenance checklist
- Keep the mobile number registered with your broker current.
- Keep the email address registered with the broker and depository participant current.
- Check that app notifications and email delivery are enabled on your devices.
- Review spam, promotions and notification-permission settings if an expected message does not arrive.
- Use the broker’s account activity and exchange records as the final check for a transaction; never rely on a push notification alone.
Notification delivery can be affected by device settings, connectivity, maintenance or a changed email address. No alert channel should be treated as an execution guarantee.
Limits and lifecycle of Kite alerts
Zerodha’s current support documentation states that alerts have a 365-day validity period. It also documents limits of 500 alerts and 200 Alert Trigger Orders. These are platform limits and can change, so check the alert-management screen and current support guidance when planning a large set of conditions.

Review alerts after corporate actions
Kite states that alerts can be disabled when a corporate action changes the instrument price by more than 2%. A split, bonus, consolidation or another adjustment can therefore make an old threshold inappropriate even if the alert still appears in your list. After any such event:
- Open the alert-management screen and identify disabled or affected INDIACEM alerts.
- Check the adjusted quote and the corporate-action announcement.
- Decide whether the original level still represents your intended condition.
- Recreate or edit the alert only after confirming the adjusted price basis.
Also review one-year-old alerts before they expire. A condition that was sensible when created may be irrelevant after a long price move, a change in trading plan or a new financial year.

If you use another trading app, compare the specific alert and event functions rather than assuming that every broker implements them in the same way. The following checklist separates documented Kite capabilities from items that must be confirmed in another app.

|---|---|---|
| Price-condition flexibility | Conditions can use parameters including price, volume and percentage changes. | Whether last traded price, percentage, volume and both greater-than and less-than operators are supported. |
| Notification channels | Alerts can be delivered in Kite and by email. | Whether push, email, SMS or only an in-app message is available, and whether each channel must be enabled separately. |
| Scheduled results | Event tags can appear three days before through one day after a scheduled financial result; stock-specific events are available through More > Fundamentals. | Whether the app shows result dates, how often its calendar is updated and whether dates are labelled as estimates. |
| Validity and quantity | 365-day validity, a maximum of 500 alerts and a maximum of 200 Alert Trigger Orders are documented. | Expiry rules, total-alert limits, per-instrument limits and whether unused alerts count toward the cap. |
| Notification versus order trigger | Standard alerts are separate from Alert Trigger Orders. | Whether informational alerts and automated or trigger orders have separate screens, permissions, costs and risk controls. |
| Exchange-source access | The workflow points you to the NSE quote page for announcements and filings. | Whether the app links to the original exchange filing or merely displays a third-party summary. |
For an India Cements results strategy, an app that shows only a price threshold but no event calendar still requires you to monitor the NSE calendar yourself. Conversely, an event tag without a direct filing link should not replace checking the exchange record.

Common problems and fixes
The symbol does not appear
Search for the full company name and confirm that the exchange is NSE. If several results are listed, select the entry whose symbol is INDIACEM; do not create an alert until the exchange and issuer match.
The alert fired but no order was placed
That is normal for a standard price alert. It is a notification condition, not an execution instruction. Open the order screen separately if, after reviewing the market and filing, you decide to trade.
The result date changed or the tag disappeared
Scheduled dates can move. Recheck More > Fundamentals, the event calendar and the NSE corporate-announcement record. Use the exchange filing time and document as the final confirmation.

Check that Kite notifications are permitted by the phone, that email is enabled, and that the account’s contact details are current. Review the alert list and the quote history rather than assuming that a missing message means the condition was not met.
An alert is disabled after a price adjustment
Inspect corporate-action notices and the adjusted market price. Because Kite can disable alerts after a corporate-action price change greater than 2%, recreate the condition at a level that reflects the adjusted instrument.
The headline and the filing seem different
Read the statement period, audited status, consolidated or standalone label and accompanying notes. Headlines may emphasize one measure while the filing contains the qualifications needed to interpret it.
A practical routine for each India Cements results cycle
- Before the expected window: confirm that your Marketwatch entry is NSE: INDIACEM and review active alert names, thresholds and expiry dates.
- Three days before the scheduled event: look for Kite’s financial-result tag and open More > Fundamentals for the stock-specific event information.
- On the scheduled day: keep the app event as a reminder, but check the NSE quote page for an actual announcement rather than assuming publication.
- When the filing appears: record the period, approval date, audited or unaudited label, consolidated or standalone basis and any important notes.
- After reading: review the price alert in the context of the filing. A threshold crossing tells you that a market condition occurred; it does not tell you whether the result justifies a trade.
- After a corporate action: inspect alert status and rebuild any condition that was disabled or made irrelevant by the price adjustment.
- After the cycle: delete stale conditions, renew alerts approaching the 365-day limit and keep only thresholds tied to a current decision.
This process gives you three separate checks: the correct listed instrument, a notification when the market reaches a level you chose, and the original exchange filing for the company’s financial results. Keeping those functions separate prevents a price alert, an event estimate and an executed order from being mistaken for one another.
