To set an alarm on a Samsung Galaxy, open Clock, select Alarm, tap Add alarm (the plus icon), choose a time and any repeat days, then tap Save. You can also name the alarm and adjust its sound, vibration, volume, and snooze options; available controls vary by device, software version, and market.
Set a new alarm
- Open the Clock app and select the Alarm tab.
- Tap Add alarm or the plus icon.
- Choose the alarm time. To make it recur, select the days you want it to ring; leave the days unselected for a one-time alarm.
- Optionally set an alarm name, sound, volume, vibration, or snooze options if those controls appear.
- Tap Save.

Choose one-time or repeating days
Use a one-time alarm for a single wake-up or reminder. For a repeating alarm, select the days it should ring—for example, only the weekdays you need. Review the selected days before saving so a recurring alarm does not ring on unintended days.

When adding or editing an alarm, open the relevant sound or vibration controls to choose the options available on your device. Samsung’s U.S. guide also documents alarm volume, snooze interval and repeat settings, and a setting that can silence alarms when system sound is off. Samsung Canada’s guide describes choosing and previewing ringtones and vibration patterns, adjusting vibration intensity, and changing snooze interval and repetitions. Pause an alarm without removing it
Turn off the switch beside the alarm. It remains in the list and can be switched on again later.
Delete an alarm
To remove an alarm from the list, touch and hold it, then tap Delete. Use the switch instead if you only want to stop it temporarily. Samsung’s U.S. alarm guide

Use Sleep mode if you want a sleep schedule
Sleep mode is optional; it is not needed to create a basic alarm. Samsung Canada describes using it to set bedtime and wake-up times and configure options for that period, including Do not disturb, Dark mode, and Eye comfort shield.
