In YouTube Studio, open Analytics, choose Revenue, and use the Live filter to find the live-stream ad-revenue breakdown. For earnings from ads specifically, look for Estimated ad revenue—not Estimated revenue, which combines several revenue sources. Reports may take two days to appear, and YouTube’s instructions describe a report context where Live-filtered revenue is unavailable, so the exact view can vary.
Find livestream ad revenue in YouTube Studio
- Sign in to YouTube Studio and select Analytics in the left menu.
- Select Revenue from the Analytics tabs.
- To focus on livestreams, select the Live filter in YouTube Analytics, following YouTube’s live-monetization instructions. YouTube Help says the ad-revenue breakdown for live streams and live replays can be viewed in Analytics.
- Choose Estimated ad revenue or inspect the revenue-source breakdown to isolate ad earnings. If you are checking one broadcast, open that livestream’s video-level Analytics or Revenue view if available.
YouTube Studio’s interface is gradually changing; YouTube says an updated Studio experience began rolling out in July 2026. Menu presentation may therefore differ, so look for the current Analytics and Revenue labels rather than relying on older screenshots. YouTube Analytics overview.

Choose the metric that means ad earnings
- Estimated ad revenue is the metric for revenue from ads on videos; YouTube places it in the revenue-sources report. This is the closest match when you want ad earnings from a livestream or replay.
- Estimated revenue includes multiple sources, such as ads, YouTube Premium, memberships, and Supers. It is not an ad-only total.
- RPM is a creator-focused amount per 1,000 views, after YouTube’s share, and can include several revenue sources. It is not the total ads earned by one stream.
- CPM is an advertiser-focused cost per 1,000 ad impressions before YouTube’s revenue share. It is not your stream’s total ad earnings.
YouTube’s Revenue tab tracks earnings for creators in the YouTube Partner Program. If you are not in the program, that tab may not provide earnings data for your channel. YouTube Help: Check your YouTube revenue.

YouTube says revenue can take two days to appear in Analytics. Estimated income may be adjusted after about one week and again in the middle of the following month. Analytics figures are estimates; finalized earnings appear in AdSense for YouTube and can differ from the Analytics estimate. YouTube says finalized prior-month earnings are typically added between the 7th and 12th of the following month. YouTube Help: Check your YouTube revenue.
If the Live filter does not show revenue
YouTube’s help pages give instructions that do not fully align across report contexts. Its live-monetization page directs creators to the Live filter for a live-stream ad-revenue breakdown, while a separate live-metrics page says revenue reports are unavailable when filtering for Live in the context described there. That does not establish that every Live-filtered report either always includes or always excludes revenue.
#1 Best Overall
- Confirm you are in Analytics → Revenue, rather than an overview or a live interaction-metrics report.
- Open the individual livestream’s video-level Analytics or Revenue view, if available, and check its revenue sources.
- Try a broader content or date view instead of filtering the report to Live.
- If the stream is recent, allow up to two days for revenue data to appear before treating the missing figure as a reporting issue.
These are practical alternate views; YouTube’s documentation does not specify exactly why the Live-filtered report availability differs by context. See YouTube Help: Monetize your live stream and YouTube Help: See your live stream’s metrics.

Any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps streams at one flat price per slot, with no re-encode or quality tiers; automatic recovery helps if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card.
