Zapier’s screenshot integrations can capture a website and may hide or block a cookie banner, but their listed controls do not establish that they click Accept or save the site’s consent choice. If the screenshot must show the page after consent, treat accepting as a separate browser interaction and verify the workflow on the specific website before relying on it.
What Zapier’s screenshot actions can—and cannot—do
Zapier lists screenshot actions from several providers. Their banner controls are described as hiding or blocking banners; that is not the same as clicking an acceptance button. A clean-looking screenshot alone does not prove the website recorded consent.
The closest direct workflow is to choose a screenshot provider in Zapier, configure its capture action, and use a hide/block control only if your goal is to remove the banner from the image. If you require an accept-then-capture sequence, the integration descriptions covered here do not document a ready-made action that performs it. Check the provider’s current action documentation and test against the target site before building a workflow around that behavior.
Choose a Zapier screenshot integration
| Integration | Listed screenshot or related actions | Relevant listed controls | Does the listing establish clicking Accept? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Screenshots by Snapshot Site (Zapier integration listing) | Capture Screenshot; also Analyze Page and Compare Pages | URL, format, width and height, delay, full-page, Hide Cookie Banner, custom JavaScript, and Hide Selector | No. Hide Cookie Banner is a hiding control, not documented acceptance. |
| ScreenshotOne (Zapier integration listing) | Take Website Screenshot; Render Animated or Scrolling Website Screenshot | Block cookie banners, Block banners by heuristics, viewport, full-page, delay, timeout, and related capture controls | No. The listing describes blocking controls, not a consent click. |
| PagePixels Screenshots (Zapier integration listing) | Screenshot-related actions | Custom cookies, custom JavaScript, and No Cookie Banners, among other configurable controls | No. The listing does not establish a working acceptance sequence. |
Action names and available fields can change. Use the current Zapier action form and provider documentation as the authority for what your account can configure.
Set up a screenshot workflow when hiding the banner is enough
- In Zapier, create or open a Zap and select the trigger that should start the capture.
- Add the screenshot provider you want to use and select its capture action: Capture Screenshot for Screenshots by Snapshot Site or Take Website Screenshot for ScreenshotOne. PagePixels also lists screenshot-related actions; choose the appropriate one shown in its current Zapier app.
- Map the target website’s URL into the action’s URL field. Configure the available capture settings, such as viewport dimensions or full-page capture, image format, and delay, according to the page and the downstream step.
- If you only need a banner-free image, enable the provider’s listed hide/block option. In Snapshot Site, that is Hide Cookie Banner; ScreenshotOne lists Block cookie banners and Block banners by heuristics; PagePixels lists No Cookie Banners.
- Test the action on the actual target URL, inspect the resulting image, then publish the Zap. Confirm that the page content and any required consent behavior meet your purpose.
Do not label a hiding configuration as acceptance. If consent needs to be recorded, obtain confirmation from the provider that its action can interact with that site’s banner, or implement and validate a separate browser interaction. Banner markup and behavior differ between websites, so no universal click selector or Zapier field can be specified from the available integration descriptions.
When consent must be accepted before capture
First decide what “after accepting” means for your workflow: the site must actually receive an acceptance interaction, or you simply want the banner absent from the screenshot. These are different outcomes. If the site must store a choice, a control that merely suppresses a banner does not meet the requirement.
- Inspect the provider’s current action documentation for an explicit interaction or consent workflow; do not infer it from a hide/block label.
- Test the sequence on the named site, including whether acceptance persists on a later page load. Some sites may use session cookies, which expire when the browser session ends, while persistent cookies may remain afterward; see Zapier’s Cookie Notice for that distinction.
- If the provider does not document the needed interaction, use a browser automation step or a service whose documented behavior matches the requirement, and verify the result on the target site.
Zapier Web Reader is not a substitute: Zapier describes it as a beta action for fetching public-page content, not as a screenshot action or consent-click mechanism. It respects robots.txt and cannot access pages behind logins or paywalls. See Zapier Help: Read web pages in your workflows (updated March 20, 2026).

ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server for developers. One GET request can return an image or PDF. For example, using cURL:
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for parameters and response details. ScreenshotNeo accepts cookie/consent banners before capture and removes more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets; each cleanup step can be turned off. That is useful for clean shots, but if your workflow requires a particular site’s consent choice to be recorded, verify that requirement on the target site. Bot checks/CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits are not billed, and response headers indicate the page verdict and billing status. Its MCP server lets AI agents, including Claude and Cursor, use screenshot tools. The Free plan includes 1,000 shots a month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 shots.

Troubleshooting
- The banner is gone, but you cannot prove consent was saved: the integration’s hide/block option may only affect what is rendered or captured. Verify an explicit acceptance interaction and check behavior on a subsequent load.
- The banner remains in the screenshot: confirm the correct hide/block field is enabled, increase the configured delay if the banner appears after initial load, and test the provider’s heuristic option where available. A provider’s listing does not guarantee every site’s implementation will be recognized.
- The screenshot is incomplete or captures the page too early: adjust the available delay or full-page setting and test again. The listed integrations expose capture timing and page-size controls, but exact field availability can vary by action.
- The page requires login or is blocked: Web Reader cannot access pages behind logins or paywalls. Do not treat it as a way to capture such pages; use an authorized workflow supported by the screenshot provider.
- A Zap action no longer has the field shown here: consult the current app listing and action configuration. Integration labels and options can change, and the cited listings do not guarantee a field in every account or plan.
