How do you cast Max with Chromecast?
Max supports Chromecast (2nd or 3rd generation), Chromecast Ultra, and TVs with Chromecast built in. The first-generation Chromecast is not supported. Chromecast with Google TV can run the Max app directly, so you may not need to cast from another device. Follow Max’s Chromecast instructions.

What if your TV does not have the Max app?
Max lists Chromecast, AirPlay, and an HDMI connection as alternatives, and suggests using a supported streaming player. For HDMI, confirm that your phone, tablet, or computer can output video through the port or adapter you plan to use, and that the TV has a matching input. Max’s support page does not specify every source-device, adapter, and TV combination, so check compatibility before buying or connecting a cable.
