Before you schedule: check your channel and Gyre access
Gyre’s current setup guidance says channel authorization is performed through the Google Account that owns the YouTube channel. The channel must be verified, live streaming must be enabled, and there must not have been a live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. Choose an authorization method
- Channel authorization: use the Google Account that owns the channel. Gyre describes this as the streamlined route.
- Manual stream-key setup: consider this if you need a more advanced YouTube Studio configuration. Gyre describes it as an alternative for creators who need that control.

Create one playlist for the morning audience and another for the evening audience, with content and metadata suited to each time block. In Gyre, the selected file order determines playback order, and playback returns to the first file after reaching the end. That lets each stream repeat its own playlist rather than switching between the two.

Choose playlist length and order
Gyre recommends at least one hour of material and says three to five hours is ideal. Treat those figures as vendor recommendations, not a universal requirement or a proven threshold. Arrange files in the order you want viewers to hear or see them, and check that the sequence makes sense when it loops back to the beginning. Gyre’s scheduler and playlist guidance

Create the streams and add them to Gyre’s scheduler
- Authorize your YouTube channel or configure its stream key. Use the method available in your Gyre account, and confirm that the intended channel is connected.
- Create the morning stream. Select its morning playlist and set the stream’s viewer-facing title and other relevant metadata.
- Create the evening stream. Select the separate evening playlist and give it metadata that clearly distinguishes it from the morning broadcast.
- Open Gyre’s Streams Scheduler. Add the morning stream as its own scheduler entry, then choose a start time, end time, or both. Repeat for the evening stream. Gyre provides month, week, and day views; scheduled entries can be edited or removed.
- Check the displayed dates and times. Before depending on unattended starts, create a low-risk test schedule and compare the time shown in Gyre with the intended IST time and local date. Confirm the resulting broadcast start. Recheck after account or interface changes.

Publish a clear schedule for viewers in India
State public times as IST (UTC+05:30), including the day when a schedule crosses midnight or changes. This is a presentation choice for your Indian audience; it does not mean Gyre’s scheduler is confirmed to use IST. YouTube advises creators to use a consistent, sustainable schedule and communicate changes so viewers know when to watch. It also suggests displaying the schedule on the channel banner. There is no universally established best morning or evening hour for Indian channels in the cited guidance. Use your channel’s audience analytics to choose the times, then assess how those slots work for your viewers. Update the banner or other schedule information when you make a change.
Check Gyre plan availability before relying on the scheduler
Gyre’s latest product guidance lists the scheduler and playlists on the free trial, Start+, and PRO+ plans, and says the Start plan does not include the scheduler.
