To schedule a daily yoga nidra stream, open YouTube Studio and go to Create > Go Live > Manage > Schedule Stream. Create a separate scheduled event for each session, reusing the previous event’s settings for consistency. Scheduling creates a shareable watch page, but it does not start the program: at each session, you still need to send the video and audio feed, check the preview, and select Go live.
Before you schedule your first session
- Check channel eligibility. YouTube’s current live-streaming guidance requires a verified channel without a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. The streamer must be at least 16. If you have never streamed from the channel, enable live streaming early; initial activation can take up to 24 hours. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.
- Choose how you will send the session. YouTube supports mobile, webcam, encoder, and console streams. An encoder suits a setup that needs external audio equipment or more production control, but it is not required for every stream. YouTube says expensive equipment is not necessary to get started.
- Check your rights. Make sure you have permission to use every recording, music track, image, and other material in the stream. The applicable rights depend on the specific material; the general streaming instructions do not establish whether a particular yoga nidra recording is cleared.
- Test the complete setup. Try an unlisted or test stream before relying on a public daily schedule. Listen for clear guidance and verify that the video, any background audio, and the stream preview behave as expected.
Create a scheduled YouTube event
- Sign in to YouTube Studio and select Create in the upper-right corner, then choose Go Live to open Live Control Room.
- Open the Manage tab and select Schedule Stream.
- Choose Reuse settings to carry over a previous setup, or Create new for a fresh event.
- Enter the session details, date and time, and visibility, then save. YouTube notes that the default privacy setting can vary by age; check the visibility selection rather than assuming the event is public.
- Copy the scheduled watch-page link and share it with your audience. Viewers can visit the page and set reminders.
YouTube’s guidance explains how to schedule a stream and reuse settings, but does not establish a daily recurrence control in Studio. For a practical manual series, make an event for each day and reuse the previous event’s settings.

Start the stream at session time
- Connect the encoder. If your encoder offers YouTube as a service, select it. Otherwise, enter the server or stream URL and stream key shown in YouTube Studio. Treat the key like a password: it authorizes the encoder to send the feed to your channel.
- Start early enough to check the signal. YouTube recommends setting up an encoder stream at least two hours ahead and starting the encoder at least 15 minutes before the scheduled event. These are YouTube recommendations, not guarantees that a particular setup will be ready by then.
- Check the Live Control Room preview. Confirm the intended video is showing and the audio is audible and correct. When the preview is ready, select Go live.
- End the session cleanly. When the practice is over, stop the stream in Live Control Room and stop sending content from the encoder. YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours are automatically archived.
Choose the right daily workflow
Manual events in YouTube Studio
For a basic daily practice, create each day’s event in Studio and reuse settings to keep the description, title pattern, and encoder configuration consistent. This is the clearest point-and-click approach, but you must create the events and start each session yourself.
Custom automation with Google’s API
For a developer-built workflow, Google’s Live Streaming API documentation describes using one reusable liveStream resource for shared delivery settings, then creating and binding separate scheduled liveBroadcast resources for each event. The guide says only one event is live at a time. This is an API implementation pattern—not a daily scheduling feature in the Studio interface—and the automation must manage each broadcast’s state correctly. See Google’s Live Streaming API guide.
#1 Best Overall
Mobile, webcam, or encoder
Mobile or webcam streaming can be simpler for a straightforward live session. An encoder offers more control and can accommodate external hardware, such as a microphone for clearer live spoken guidance. YouTube says expensive equipment is not required; treat a microphone as an optional production choice, not a prerequisite.
Or let it run in the cloud
If your yoga nidra sessions are uploaded recordings rather than live camera guidance, StreamNeo can keep a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; the stream runs from the cloud. It plays your upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot, and can recover automatically if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly billing is $9.99 per month. StreamNeo plays uploaded videos; it does not stream live camera footage. Start your free first day with StreamNeo.

The stream option is unavailable
Check that the channel is verified and has no live-streaming restriction from the previous 90 days, and that the person streaming is at least 16. If live streaming was just enabled for the first time, activation may take up to 24 hours.

The encoder is not connecting
Check that the encoder is using the stream URL and key for the intended event, and that the key has not been mistyped or replaced. Keep the key private; if you believe it has been exposed, update it in Studio and reconnect the encoder with the current key.

The scheduled page exists but viewers cannot see the session
Scheduling makes a promotional watch page; it does not send a feed or put the event live by itself. Start the encoder, wait for the Live Control Room preview, confirm audio and video, then select Go live. Also check the event’s visibility setting.
The preview has the wrong sound or picture
Verify the encoder’s selected input and the recording or scene being sent. Check the levels and listen to the preview before going live. A test stream is a safer place to correct audio balance, missing guidance, or an unintended visual than a scheduled public session.

Keep the daily series consistent
- Use a predictable title and description pattern, while making each event’s date and time clear.
- Create and check the next scheduled event in advance; do not assume yesterday’s event automatically repeats.
- Keep a private copy of the stream key and do not publish it in the event description or watch-page link.
- Use only content you have rights to stream, and review the event visibility and preview before each session.
