When you start the demo, use only controls and menu options that the game itself displays. If a pause or system menu contains a save, load, checkpoint, or quit-and-save command, follow that on-screen instruction. If no such option appears, do not assume that closing the game creates a recoverable save; the public information does not establish what happens after an exit.

Do not rename, move, replace, or delete files based on a generic Steam-game path. Even if a folder appears to contain files with plausible names, there is no game-specific confirmation that those files represent usable Bless You Again progress. Editing an unverified file can make a local save unreadable or remove the only copy of it.
The same caution applies to backup instructions. A backup is meaningful only when you know which file or directory the game actually uses and have verified that restoring it works. Neither point has been documented for this demo, so a file-manipulation transfer guide would be speculation rather than a reliable procedure.
Does Bless You Again demo progress carry over to the full game?
Gino Inc. has not confirmed carryover in the official announcement for this release. There is no published statement saying that the demo and full game share a save format, that a transfer prompt will appear, or that Steam will automatically detect demo progress.

Yomimono reported on October 13, 2026, that demo save data will not carry into the full game. That report attributes the information to Game Spark, making it a secondary account rather than a policy statement published by Gino Inc. Until the developer issues the same information, treat “no carryover” as unconfirmed.

What you can safely check in Steam
You can inspect information that Steam displays without changing any files. These checks cannot create a transfer method, but they can show whether the developer has added new documentation.
- Open the demo’s Steam store and library pages. Read the current description, announcements, and update notes for a save or carryover statement. The listing may change as the 2026 release approaches.
- Look for a Steam Cloud indicator. Steam may display cloud information on a game’s library or properties screen when a title declares that feature. The presence of an indicator would describe synchronization support, not guarantee that a demo save can be opened by the full game.
- Read the game’s own pause and main menus. Record the exact wording of any save, checkpoint, continue, or quit option. Use only the commands the demo presents; do not infer behavior from another game.
- Check Gino Inc.’s newest public announcement before the full release. The developer’s latest release information is the most authoritative place to look for a change in save behavior or a transfer policy.
- Keep expectations separate from proof. A visible local save, a Steam Cloud icon, or a report from a third party is not by itself evidence that the full release accepts the demo’s data.
Why a generic Steam save-folder guide is risky here
Many Steam games keep local data in different locations, use several files, or store part of their state in a database. Some games write a save only at a checkpoint; others save when leaving a menu; some use cloud synchronization; and some deliberately prevent demo data from being read by the full release. Without a confirmed location and format for this title, a directory path copied from another game could point to the wrong data.

Transfer also has two separate technical requirements: finding the demo’s data and having a full-game build that recognizes the same data structure. Even a perfectly copied file would not prove compatibility. It could be ignored, rejected, or overwrite a different profile if the two builds use different identifiers or formats.
For that reason, instructions such as “copy this folder,” “rename this file,” or “replace the full game’s save” should not be followed for Bless You Again unless Gino Inc. publishes those exact steps and explains how to make a verified backup first.

Treat the demo as a separate playable preview
The confirmed content is the prologue and first dungeon. Until a transfer policy is published, play it for the preview experience rather than for guaranteed progression into the full campaign. This avoids making an unsupported assumption about what the release build will import.
Record discoveries outside the save system
If you want to remember choices, equipment, routes, or settings, keep your own notes or screenshots. Those records cannot create an in-game transfer, but they preserve information that may help you reproduce decisions if the full game starts separately.
Recheck the policy near launch
The full game was listed for release in 2026, so the answer may be updated after the demo has been available for testing. Before purchasing or starting the release version, look for a statement from Gino Inc. that addresses all three practical questions: how the demo saves, where its data resides, and whether the full game imports it.
Use the wording of any future instructions literally
If the developer later publishes a transfer guide, follow its version, platform, and order-of-operations details exactly. A guide written for a particular demo build may not apply to a later update, and a Steam Cloud instruction may differ from a local-file export. Do not combine a new official step with an older community workaround unless the developer says they are compatible.

A complete policy should identify the save mechanism, not merely say that the demo “saves.” Look for these details in a future announcement or support article:
- Whether saving is manual, automatic, checkpoint-based, or a mixture.
- The supported operating system and build or version for the demo and full game.
- Whether Steam Cloud is enabled and what it synchronizes.
- Whether the full game reads the demo’s data automatically or requires an in-game import command.
- Where a local backup can be made, including the exact files or folder.
- Whether transfer is one-time, repeatable, optional, or unavailable.
- What happens when the demo and full game are installed on different computers.
- Whether the policy applies to all Steam accounts and regions or has edition-specific limits.
Without those details, a short statement such as “progress carries over” would still leave important failure points unresolved.
