Use the university’s own download when available
A portal-generated marks statement or PDF is the best first choice because it is a document provided by the university, rather than a printout of whatever happens to be displayed in your browser. Look for options such as “Download PDF,” “Statement of Marks/Grades,” or “Print” on the official result page or student portal.

The University of Delhi Examination Branch advised students in a notice dated 15 September 2025 to download their Statement of Marks/Grades from its student portal at https://slc.uod.ac.in and save a PDF copy for their records and future reference. That is a university-specific instruction, not a label or process every institution uses.

If the portal has no direct document download, browser printing can save the displayed result as a PDF without a physical printer. The exact menu names and print dialog differ by browser and device.

- Open the result from the university’s official examination or student portal, and wait for the page or result document to finish loading.
- Open the browser’s Print command. In the print dialog, choose a PDF destination, commonly labeled “Save as PDF” or “Print to PDF.”
- Review the preview. Check that the page includes the relevant student identification and result details, and that text is not clipped or too small to read.
- Save the PDF to a location you can find. Open the saved file and confirm that it contains the expected pages and that the result is legible.
Bankura University’s instruction document similarly directs users to click “Print” to save the document as a PDF on their device. Your university’s interface may differ.
Choose the right kind of record

A browser-generated PDF is useful for documentation, but do not assume it is an official transcript, certified marksheet, or verified credential. If an employer, admissions office, or another university requests an official record, ask that recipient what it accepts and follow your university’s formal document process if required.

Check portal compatibility and availability
Browser support and result availability are set by each institution. The University of Delhi results listing names Google Chrome as a compatible browser. Andhra University’s results portal tells students to check, download, or print results within 30 days from the result issue date. That 30-day window applies to that portal; it is not a general deadline for Indian university results.

Follow the notices on your own university’s portal, especially if the result is newly published or access may expire. If the result is missing or the displayed details are wrong, use the examination office’s published support route rather than relying on a third-party result mirror. The University of Delhi results page directs result queries to its Examination Branch.
