On Android Chrome, open the UPI dispute webpage and tap More → Share → Print. In the print preview, choose Save as PDF, select a folder, and save. This creates a copy of the page for your records; official guidance reviewed does not say a webpage PDF is required to file a UPI complaint or that it replaces your transaction record or complaint reference.
Save the webpage as a PDF in Android Chrome
- Open the UPI dispute webpage in Chrome.
- Tap More at the top right, then tap Share.
- Choose Print.
- In the print preview, select Save as PDF.
- Choose where to store the file and save it.
These menu labels and steps are Google’s instructions for Android Chrome; menus can differ in other browsers and operating systems. You do not need a physical printer to save the preview as a PDF. Google Chrome Help: Print from Chrome

What the PDF does—and does not—prove
A saved PDF preserves the visible, printable content of the webpage. NPCI’s complaint portal displays transaction-related fields such as the bank, transaction date, 12-digit transaction number/RRN, account number, and amount. Keep the relevant official transaction record and complaint reference details as well. A webpage PDF is not established as a substitute for a bank statement or transaction record. Google Pay’s India help says an app screenshot is not a valid bank statement for the particular payment issue covered by that guidance. Where to raise a UPI complaint
Fraudulent, unidentified, or unauthorised transactions
NPCI says complaints about fraudulent, unidentified, or unauthorised transactions should be raised with the user’s bank. Use the bank’s current instructions for reporting the specific transaction. NPCI UPI dispute redressal mechanism
Other transaction grievances and escalation
NPCI’s UPI FAQ says customers can raise grievances or check transaction status through the UPI app of participating banks. NPCI’s dispute guidance describes an escalation sequence beginning with the relevant TPAP, then the PSP, the customer’s bank, and NPCI, followed by Ombudsman options after those channels. Check the saved file
- Open the PDF from the folder you selected and confirm it is readable.
- Check that it includes the relevant page content and transaction details you intended to preserve.
- If the page spans multiple printed pages, review them all before relying on the copy.
- Keep any complaint reference separately; the PDF does not replace it.
The official sources reviewed do not establish a universal filename, file-size limit, or attachment format for UPI complaints. Ask the institution handling your complaint what it accepts if you need to submit a document.
