On Android, open the UMANG webpage in Chrome, then tap More (⋮) → Share → Print. In the print preview, select Save as PDF, choose where to store the file, and save it. This is Chrome’s webpage-printing feature, not a universal PDF export control in UMANG.
Save a UMANG webpage as a PDF in Chrome on Android
- Open the UMANG webpage in Chrome and wait for the page to load.
- Tap More (the three-dot menu), then tap Share.
- Choose Print.
- In the print preview, choose Save as PDF.
- Select a location on your device and save the file.
These steps follow Google Chrome Help’s Android instructions. The resulting PDF is a copy of the webpage as rendered in print preview; it is not, by itself, an official government-issued certificate or record.

If the UMANG page is open inside the app
Chrome’s print steps apply to a webpage open in Chrome. If the page is visible only inside the UMANG app, look for a share or open-in-browser action for that specific screen. It may not be available on every service page, and the available official guidance does not confirm a universal in-app PDF export button.
UMANG is the Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance, an initiative of MeitY and NeGD that provides access to government services through mobile and web channels. The portal notes that linked service content is maintained by the respective government departments. For a certificate or other service document, check whether the relevant UMANG service or DigiLocker provides the document itself; printing the webpage is not the same as downloading that official document. If you use an iPhone or another browser
The verified sequence here is specifically for Chrome on Android. Menus and print options can differ by browser and platform, so use the browser’s own share or print controls and look for an option to save or share a PDF. The cited instructions do not establish the exact steps for every iPhone, browser, or UMANG app screen.

Can I follow the same steps on every UMANG screen?
No. The documented procedure is for a webpage open in Chrome on Android, and an in-app screen may not provide an open-in-browser option.
