- Use the on-screen Screenshot option if your device provides one, or press the Power and Volume buttons together.
- Open Photos or Gallery and look for the image in the Screenshots folder or album.

Take a screenshot on a computer
Use your computer’s built-in screen-capture feature while the portal page is open. The exact command varies by operating system, and no single shortcut or menu path is universal. If the page is longer than the visible window, a normal screenshot may not capture all of it; check whether the portal provides a print or download option, but availability depends on the specific portal.

Keep enough context for the image to be useful
A screenshot records what appeared on screen; by itself, it does not establish that the underlying portal record is authentic or unchanged. If you are keeping a record of an issue, retain the page URL and any relevant related material where appropriate. The National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal’s FAQ lists webpage URLs, screenshots, images, videos, and other documents as possible evidence types for complaint reporting. Protect login details and residents’ privacy
- Confirm that you are using the society’s legitimate portal address and that the connection uses HTTPS before entering credentials. Government website security guidance explains that an insecure connection can expose an authenticated session and private data; this does not verify the security of any particular society portal. - Capture only the portion needed. Review the image for names, apartment numbers, phone numbers, dues, or other account details before sending it.
- Share it only with the intended recipient using an appropriate channel. Treat an image as personal information when a person is identifiable or reasonably ascertainable. Troubleshoot common problems
The screenshot control or button combination does not work
Check the instructions for your device and operating-system version; controls are not identical across phones. On Android, the citizen manual’s alternatives are an on-screen Screenshot option, if available, or pressing Power and Volume together.

Check Photos or Gallery and look for Screenshots. Folder names and locations may differ by device.
The image cuts off part of the page
A screenshot usually captures what is visible at that moment. Scroll and capture additional portions if needed, or check whether the portal offers a print or download function. Whether it does is portal-specific.

The portal and device are unidentified, so capture restrictions and their causes cannot be determined here. Use any official print or download function the portal provides, or contact the portal administrator rather than trying to bypass a restriction.
