To print a document from a Samsung Galaxy, create or open its PDF, use the app’s Print command and choose Save as PDF if that destination is available. Save the file somewhere you can find it, check that it opens, then send or carry it using a submission method accepted by the shop. The steps and labels can vary by app and Android or One UI version.
Save a document or webpage as a PDF
- Open the item you want to print in an app that can display it, such as a document reader or browser.
- Find the app’s Print command. It may be in an overflow menu or sharing menu; its location depends on the app.
- Choose Save as PDF in the Android print screen, if it appears. Samsung’s Print Service FAQ explains that this destination is provided by the operating system, not by the print plugin: Samsung Print Service FAQ.
- Review the print preview and page range, then tap Save and choose a folder.
- Open the saved PDF from that folder. Check the page count, orientation and content before sending it to the shop.
The exact menus for individual apps are not the same, so use the app’s own help if you cannot find Print or Save as PDF.

If the document is on paper, scan it first
Samsung’s published guidance from October 30, 2023 describes scanning a single page with Camera: position the document, tap Scan when it is detected, review the result, make any needed crop or rotation changes, and save it. For multiple pages, that guidance describes using Office Mobile > Actions > Scan to PDF, adding pages, reviewing the file and sharing it. App availability and menus may have changed, so treat these as Samsung’s published routes rather than guaranteed current labels: Samsung’s guide to scanning documents with Galaxy phones.

Submission methods differ by provider and location. Ask the shop which it accepts before you travel. At FedEx Office in the United States, documented self-service options include email retrieval codes, USB drives and supported cloud access. FedEx says PDF is supported and recommends it for preserving formatting. Its local services, availability and prices can vary by store.

| Method | How it works at FedEx Office | What to consider |
|---|---|---|
| Email retrieval code | Email the file to [email protected], receive a code, then choose Print from Retrieval Code at the kiosk and enter it. FedEx says a code can take up to five minutes and remains valid for 10 days. | Email attachment limits may make this unsuitable for a large PDF. Sending the file by email gives the service a copy. |
| USB flash drive | Bring the PDF on a USB drive and use it at a kiosk that supports USB. | It is optional, not required if email or cloud works. Confirm the location supports the method. Do not assume a particular Galaxy phone can connect directly to a particular drive or adapter. |
| Supported cloud drive | Sign in to a supported cloud service at the kiosk and access the file. | You need account access at the kiosk. Check that the location supports the cloud service you plan to use. |
FedEx’s instructions and supported formats are described on its Print & Go page and self-service printing page. Its online printing FAQ says PDF is preferred for most print products, though file requirements vary by product: FedEx Office printing FAQ.
