YouTube does not document a dedicated 24/7 playlist-loop control for live broadcasts, so the playback setup must handle looping. Before going live, enable live streaming on your channel, confirm you have rights to every recording and visual, and test the feed and connection.
Before you start: channel access, content rights and equipment
Make sure the channel can go live
Live streaming must be enabled for the channel. YouTube says the channel must be verified and must not have had a live-stream restriction in the preceding 90 days. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before a planned broadcast. See YouTube’s live-streaming tips for computers.

Clear rights for every recording and visual
Bhajan or devotional music is not automatically copyright-free. Check the rights for the specific recording, composition, arrangement and any visual material you use. Attribution or buying a copy of a recording does not, by itself, establish permission to stream it.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
YouTube says, “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” A detected match can cause a placeholder to replace the stream; if the material remains, YouTube may interrupt or terminate the broadcast. If a rights holder has licensed the material for your stream, ask whether they need to add your channel to their Content ID allowlist; without that, a licensed stream may still be interrupted. An archived live stream can also receive a Content ID claim after it ends. Details: YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams.

Choose a playback and encoding setup
You need a way to play the playlist repeatedly and an encoder to send its output to YouTube. YouTube describes encoder software running on a computer and standalone hardware encoders. A computer is the straightforward do-it-yourself option if you already have one that can run your playback and encoder software; dedicated hardware is an option, not a requirement. You do not inherently need a camera, webcam, microphone or audio interface for a pre-recorded playlist. YouTube says expensive equipment is not necessary to get started and recommends professional-grade hardware encoders for higher-production events. See its encoder setup guide and computer streaming tips.
Set up the playlist and encoder
1. Prepare the playlist to repeat
Arrange only recordings and visuals you are entitled to use, then configure your chosen playback setup to repeat the playlist. The exact loop control depends on the software or hardware you select; YouTube’s live-stream instructions do not provide a special playlist loop setting. Check that playback moves from the last item back to the first without stopping, and decide how you will notice if the player or encoder stalls.

2. Create or schedule the YouTube stream
- Open YouTube Studio and select Create → Go Live.
- Create a new live stream or schedule one. Set its details and visibility as appropriate for your audience.
- In the Live Control Room, copy the stream URL (server URL) and stream key for the stream you created.
YouTube’s workflow is documented at Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder. Treat the stream key like a password: anyone with it may be able to send a feed to your channel. Do not publish it or share it in screenshots. If it is exposed, replace or reset it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.

Open the encoder’s streaming or broadcast settings, choose YouTube or a custom RTMP destination as applicable, and enter the server URL and stream key from the Live Control Room. Names and locations of these controls vary by encoder, so use that encoder’s current instructions rather than assuming the same labels across applications.

- PLUG IN AND HEAR SOUND IN SECONDS - USB Type-A connector with a 3.5mm stereo headphone output and a separate 3.5mm mono microphone input. No drivers, no software, no external power - the adapter is USB bus-powered and is recognized as a standard USB audio device.
- WORKS ON WINDOWS, MAC AND LINUX - Driverless on Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista/7/8, Linux and Mac OSX, and compliant with the USB Audio Device Class 1.0 specification, so any system that supports class-compliant USB audio will see it. Select it as the sound output and input device after plugging it in.
- TWO JACKS, TWO JOBS - The green jack is stereo OUT for headphones or powered speakers; the pink jack is mono microphone IN for a 3.5mm mic. It does NOT support 4-pole headsets on a single combo plug, it does NOT power passive speakers, and it does NOT add surround sound - it is a stereo 2-channel adapter.
- FOR LAPTOPS AND DESKTOPS THAT NEED AN AUDIO PORT BACK - Adds a headphone and mic port to a laptop, desktop, or mini PC whose onboard jack has failed or was never there. Managed and work-issued computers can block new USB audio devices by policy - check with your IT department before ordering for a company machine.
- SABRENT SUPPORT AND WARRANTY - What is in the box: one USB audio sound adapter. Backed by a 1-year limited warranty, extended to 2 years when you register within 90 days on the manufacturer's website.
4. Match quality to your available upload bandwidth
Choose a resolution and bitrate that your actual upload connection can sustain continuously. YouTube publishes encoder settings and bitrate guidance by resolution at Choose live encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions. Leave upload-bandwidth headroom rather than setting the encoder at the connection’s full measured capacity: other devices and shared networks can reduce the bandwidth available during a broadcast. If the stream becomes unstable, lower the bitrate or resolution and test again.
5. Start the feed and verify the preview
- Start sending the playlist output from the encoder.
- Wait for the incoming feed to appear in YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room preview.
- Check that both audio and video are present, the playlist is advancing, and stream health is acceptable before relying on the public broadcast.
- Start the live stream in Studio if the workflow requires it; confirm the stream is actually live, not merely receiving an encoder preview.
Test the complete setup in advance using the same kind of audio and moving or static visuals you expect to broadcast. YouTube recommends testing and monitoring stream health; its streaming tips also advise monitoring the stream. For a long devotional broadcast, arrange a person or monitoring plan to notice playback, audio, rights or connection interruptions.

What “continuous” means on YouTube
Looping the playlist can keep the source material playing, but it does not guarantee an uninterrupted or indefinite YouTube broadcast. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Its cited encoder guidance does not establish that one stream can run indefinitely or explain what happens to a stream that exceeds 12 hours. If you plan a longer session, confirm current Live Control Room behavior and archive handling in YouTube Studio rather than assuming one stream can remain live without limit.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsYouTube’s encoder instructions say to stop sending content from the encoder to end a stream. Plan how the broadcast will be ended, and do not confuse a looping player with a guarantee that the encoder, network connection or YouTube ingest will stay connected.

Troubleshooting common problems
- You cannot start a live stream: Check that live streaming has been enabled, the channel is verified and there is no live-stream restriction in the preceding 90 days. If this is the first activation, allow up to 24 hours.
- The Live Control Room does not show a preview: Confirm the encoder is sending, and recheck that its server URL and stream key match the stream you created in Studio. Keep the key private; reset it in Studio if it may have been exposed.
- The stream buffers, drops frames or loses connection: Test the actual upload connection, account for other devices sharing it, and leave bandwidth headroom. Reduce the encoder bitrate or resolution if the connection cannot sustain the selected settings. Check YouTube’s encoder settings guidance and stream health.
- The playlist stops or does not return to the first track: Check the playback setup’s repeat or loop behavior, then test a complete pass through the playlist before going live. Looping is handled by the playback setup, not by a documented YouTube 24/7 playlist control.
- YouTube replaces the picture or interrupts the broadcast: A third-party content match may be responsible. Review YouTube’s copyright notice and the rights for the matched recording or visual. If it is licensed, ask the rights holder about Content ID allowlisting; a license alone may not prevent a live interruption.
- A claim appears after the broadcast: YouTube says archived live streams may receive Content ID claims after the stream ends. Review the claim and the rights documentation for the specific material.
Or let it run in the cloud
If you would rather not keep a computer and home connection running, StreamNeo keeps a YouTube channel live by looping videos uploaded to the service. Upload the recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It does not broadcast from a camera and streams to YouTube only.
Nothing has to stay on at home. Each slot streams uploaded video as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot; StreamNeo says it does not re-encode the upload or use quality tiers. It can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card, once per account. Monthly billing is $9.99 per month. You can review StreamNeo plans and the copyright safety checklist; platform copyright rules still apply to uploaded material. Start your free day with StreamNeo.
