You can run a prerecorded Tamil songs playlist as a continuous 4K, 60fps YouTube Live broadcast with an encoder that loops the videos, a verified YouTube channel, a stable internet connection and permission to livestream every recording and composition. Configure the encoder for 3840×2160 at 60fps, use YouTube’s recommended bitrate for your codec, and plan for failures and archiving before you start. What you need before going live
- A verified YouTube channel with live streaming enabled. YouTube says first-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so do not leave this until the planned start. Encoder livestreaming also requires a verified channel without live-stream restrictions in the preceding 90 days. See YouTube’s live-stream tips.
- A playlist of video files and an encoder. YouTube supports software and standalone hardware encoders. For prerecorded songs, choose a playback workflow that can continuously repeat a playlist; a camera or capture device is not inherently required.
- Enough upload capacity for the selected bitrate. The connection must sustain the outgoing stream, with additional headroom for normal network variation. Test the actual connection and a representative playlist before committing to a long broadcast.
- Livestream rights for every track. You must establish permission for the specific sound recordings and musical compositions, including applicable territories, duration, monetization and platform conditions. A music subscription, purchased download or the fact that a song can be found on YouTube does not by itself establish permission to rebroadcast it.
Configure YouTube Live and the encoder
- Enable live streaming early. Verify the channel and complete YouTube’s activation steps. First-time access can take up to 24 hours. Review the channel’s live-stream status before preparing the playlist.
- Create or schedule the broadcast. In YouTube Studio, open Live Control Room and create or schedule a stream. Copy the server URL and stream key shown there into the matching fields in your encoder. YouTube’s encoder setup guide describes this workflow.
- Protect the stream key. Treat it like a password: someone who obtains it may be able to send a feed to your stream. Do not publish it or include it in screenshots. If it is exposed, regenerate it in YouTube’s live settings and update the encoder.
- Set the video format. Select 3840×2160 (2160p/4K) resolution and 60 frames per second. Match the encoder’s codec and bitrate to YouTube’s recommendations below.
- Set rate control and keyframes. Choose constant bitrate (CBR) and a 2-second keyframe interval. YouTube says the keyframe interval must not exceed 4 seconds. These values help the incoming feed match its recommended encoder settings.
- Configure audio. YouTube recommends AAC or MP3, 44.1 kHz stereo and 128 Kbps stereo audio. Listen to the Live Control Room preview to catch silence, clipping or an incorrect channel layout before launch.
- Use a secure connection where supported. Choose RTMPS if your encoder supports it; YouTube describes RTMPS as the secure RTMP option.
- Start with a realistic test. Send a test containing both audio and movement, inspect the preview and stream-health messages in Live Control Room, and confirm that the playlist advances and repeats as intended. YouTube advises testing and monitoring rather than assuming a successful connection will stay healthy.

Build a playlist that can run continuously
Load the licensed video files in a playlist-capable playout or streaming workflow, set it to repeat, and confirm how it behaves at the end of the list. Some workflows loop the whole playlist; others repeat a single item or stop when a file fails. Verify the behavior with a test broadcast instead of relying on a label such as “loop.” Check that every file has audio, that transitions do not create unwanted gaps, and that the playlist can resume or continue after an encoder restart.
Match your encode to YouTube’s live settings. Uploading a source file marked 4K does not alone make the live feed 4K60: the encoder must actually send 3840×2160 at 60fps using a supported configuration. Conversely, an encoder cannot restore detail missing from a lower-resolution or lower-frame-rate source.

Choose how to keep the stream online
Run your own encoder
A local computer running a software encoder offers direct control over playback and configuration, but the broadcast depends on that computer, its power supply, the home or studio network, and the playout software remaining available. A power cut, internet interruption, operating-system update or encoder crash can interrupt the live feed. If you need continuous service, plan how you will detect interruptions and restart or fail over, and test that recovery arrangement before the channel depends on it.
Use a hardware encoder
A standalone encoder can send a feed to YouTube without using a general-purpose computer for encoding. YouTube’s verified-encoder guide lists the Blackmagic Web Presenter 4K and describes support up to 2160p60. It is an optional candidate, not a requirement for a prerecorded playlist. Confirm the current model, inputs, network requirements and ability to play or receive your playlist before buying: a hardware encoder alone may not provide the looping playback you need.

Run the playlist in the cloud
YouTube’s verified-encoder guide also lists Gyre as a cloud-based service for 24/7 prerecorded streams, with Full HD and 4K at 30/60 FPS. That is a vendor feature listing, not independent evidence of uptime. When comparing a cloud service with a local setup, check supported file formats and playlists, 4K60 codec and bitrate support, recovery behavior, archive options, ongoing cost, rights responsibilities and how much monitoring the service requires.

Do not count on one complete 24-hour archive
YouTube states that “All streams under 12 hours will be automatically archived.” Its encoder setup page does not promise a complete automatic archive for a broadcast lasting 24 hours or longer. If a complete VOD matters, schedule shorter segments or make a separate local recording, then verify that the recordings are complete. See YouTube’s encoder setup information.

Monitor the broadcast and prepare recovery
Keep an eye on Live Control Room stream health and messages, especially after launch and whenever you change the playlist, network or encoder settings. YouTube recommends preview checks, a test stream, failover testing and continuous monitoring in its live-stream tips. Decide in advance who will notice a dropped feed and what action they can take; a stream that reconnects is not necessarily one that resumes the correct playlist.
Clear rights for the actual music and recordings
Rights in a composition and rights in a particular recording are distinct. Before broadcasting, establish that your permissions cover both the songs and the exact recordings in the playlist, plus the places, duration and uses you intend. YouTube’s live settings include rights-management and Content ID controls, but those controls do not grant a licence. Its live-stream settings guidance explains relevant controls. The YouTube technical help pages do not establish the licensing status of any particular Tamil song. Monetization of a live stream is available to channels in the YouTube Partner Program; eligibility is channel-specific.
