To run a 24/7 YouTube playlist, you need a media source and encoder that can loop the files, stay active, and send an uninterrupted feed to YouTube. You can use IRL Pro for its documented mobile-broadcasting purpose, but the available IRL Pro documentation does not establish it as a 24/7 playlist player.
Can IRL Pro run a prerecorded YouTube playlist by itself?
Not according to the reviewed official IRL Pro guide. It explains how to broadcast from an Android device using RTMP or SRT, including setting a publish URL and stream quality. It does not describe loading video files, looping a playlist, or running an unattended 24/7 broadcast. See the IRL Pro documentation.

A continuous prerecorded stream has separate parts: the playlist player supplies video, an encoder sends that video as a live feed, and YouTube receives it. Before choosing an app or hosted service, confirm it can handle the first two jobs continuously; being able to connect to a stream key does not prove it can play and loop files.

- A playlist source: It must play the files in the intended order and repeat them without stopping.
- An encoder: It must turn that playback into a live video feed and send it to YouTube.
- Continuous operation and recovery: Check whether the source and encoder stay active unattended and reconnect after interruptions. Establish who will monitor and restart them if they fail.
- A YouTube destination: You need the server URL and stream key for the stream configured in YouTube Live Control Room.
The reviewed sources do not verify a particular playlist-capable setup for IRL Pro, nor do they establish multiple verified 24/7 playlist solutions. Evaluate candidate software or services against these requirements rather than assuming a mobile broadcast app will provide them.

Set up the documented IRL Pro Android broadcast
The following is IRL Pro’s documented mobile live-feed workflow. It is not a method for making IRL Pro play a prerecorded playlist. Enhanced IRL advises starting at a lower bitrate and testing mobile coverage with a walk; that advice is for mobile broadcasts, not proof of continuous playlist playback.
- Check YouTube eligibility. YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days; its help page also states a minimum age of 16. See YouTube’s live-streaming setup guide.
- Choose RTMP or SRT in the Enhanced IRL dashboard. Copy the publish URL shown for that protocol. Use the current URL displayed in your account rather than a URL copied from an old setup.
- Select the same protocol in IRL Pro. In the Android app, choose RTMP or SRT to match the dashboard, then paste the corresponding publish URL.
- Set resolution, frame rate, and bitrate within the applicable plan cap. The reviewed guide does not establish one universal bitrate or resolution for every account. Start conservatively on mobile and test on the network you will use.
- Start broadcasting and test the feed. Confirm the receiving destination shows the expected picture and that your mobile connection remains stable. Test reconnection behavior; the guide does not establish a 24/7 unattended recovery guarantee.
This documented connection is an Enhanced IRL broadcast path. To deliver a playlist to YouTube, a playlist-capable source and encoder still need to produce the video feed; the available IRL Pro guide does not identify IRL Pro as that source.

Connect a playlist-capable encoder to YouTube
Once a source can play the playlist continuously and an encoder can transmit it, YouTube’s documented ingest workflow is to configure a stream in Live Control Room, enter YouTube’s server URL and stream key in the encoder, start the encoder, and follow the Live Control Room instructions. See YouTube’s encoder setup guidance.
- Verify the channel and create or select a stream in YouTube Live Control Room.
- Copy the YouTube server URL and stream key shown for that stream into the encoder that is receiving the playlist playback.
- Start the encoder, then confirm the feed and follow the status and publishing steps shown in Live Control Room.
- Test the full chain before relying on it. Let the playlist run long enough to confirm it repeats, the encoder remains connected, and the destination receives the feed. Test what happens after a network or encoder interruption.
Keep the YouTube stream key private. Enhanced IRL’s documentation warns that a platform broadcast key grants access to the channel. If it is exposed, rotate or replace it in the platform’s settings and update the encoder; do not publish the key in a guide, screenshot, or public configuration.

Plan for long-stream archives and YouTube limits
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That rule does not establish that a 24-hour broadcast will produce one complete video-on-demand archive, so do not rely on a single VOD for a full day’s playlist. Plan separately for any recording or archive you need.
YouTube’s current help page lists a maximum of 10 active streams per channel and 3 active streams per stream key. These are platform limits, not a recommendation to run that many streams. See YouTube’s current live-streaming guidance.

Could Enhanced IRL Cloud OBS keep the playlist running?
Enhanced IRL documents sending Cloud OBS output to YouTube after configuring the destination and starting the server. Its documentation does not establish Cloud OBS as a looping playlist player or guarantee 24/7 operation. The lifecycle documentation says Cloud OBS turns off after about 30 minutes when it is not broadcasting and its desktop is not open. Treat it as an option to investigate and test, not as a confirmed unattended playlist solution. See Enhanced IRL documentation.

Common problems and what to check
- IRL Pro connects, but there is no playlist: The documented app workflow is for broadcasting a live feed, not loading and looping prerecorded files. Use a source that explicitly supports local-media playlists and repeat playback.
- YouTube does not receive the encoder: Check that the stream is configured in Live Control Room and that the encoder has the matching YouTube server URL and current stream key. Confirm the encoder is started and follow the relevant Live Control Room status steps.
- The IRL Pro publish connection fails: Confirm that the protocol selected in IRL Pro matches the dashboard setting and that you pasted the current publish URL for that protocol.
- The mobile feed stutters or drops: Test the network where you plan to broadcast and lower the starting bitrate within the account’s cap. Enhanced IRL’s lower-bitrate and test-walk advice is specific to mobile IRL broadcasts.
- A hosted session stops while idle: Check the service’s lifecycle rules, whether it requires broadcasting or an open desktop, and what monitoring or restart action is needed. Enhanced IRL Cloud OBS has the documented inactivity shutdown described above.
- A stream key may have been exposed: Treat it as a compromised credential, rotate it in YouTube, and update the encoder with the replacement.
