To run a 24/7 Tamil Murugan devotional stream on YouTube, set up an ongoing YouTube Live broadcast and send it a continuous audio-video feed from an encoder or a cloud streaming service. Before you launch, clear the rights to every song and visual, enable Live on your channel, test the entire stream privately or unlisted, and plan how you will monitor interruptions. A playlist by itself is not a live broadcast, and a music license does not necessarily prevent YouTube from interrupting a live feed.
What a 24/7 YouTube devotional stream requires
YouTube treats the broadcast as an event and the stream as the audio-video feed delivered to that event. For a continuous 24/7 channel, the broadcast stays active while the feed keeps sending content. Google’s YouTube Live API documentation describes this ongoing-broadcast arrangement.

You can use an encoder-based workflow for more production control, or a cloud service that sends uploaded videos to YouTube. In either case, you need a continuous feed, rights-cleared material, a configured YouTube Live broadcast, and someone or something responsible for checking stream health and responding to problems. YouTube’s official guidance does not set a minimum computer specification, encoder, resolution, bitrate, or continuous-operation guarantee for this use case; choose those settings for your workflow and verify them in a full test.

You are responsible for having the necessary rights to use the live content and any archived version. YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions specify that this includes applicable music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers and other royalty participants, as well as permissions for the relevant territories.

Make a rights inventory
List every devotional song, recording, image, animation, logo and background visual you plan to use. Establish who controls the sound recording and the underlying composition, and confirm that your permission covers YouTube Live, the territories where you intend to make the stream available, and archiving if you plan to retain the broadcast.
Ask music owners about Content ID allowlisting
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content matches. Even when you have a license, a live stream can be interrupted if the channel is not on the rights owner’s Content ID allowlist. Contact the label, distributor, publisher or other relevant owner before launch and ask whether they can allowlist your channel. YouTube explains this in its live-streaming restrictions guidance.

Do not assume that a song is safe to stream because it is devotional, traditional, widely available online, or credited in your description. Confirm the rights to the particular recording and composition you will use. If the owner cannot confirm the live and archive permissions you need, leave that material out.

- Enable Live in advance. If this is your channel’s first live stream, verify the account and enable live streaming at least 24 hours before the planned start. YouTube for Artists recommends allowing this lead time in its Going Live for Music Channels guide.
- Choose how to send the feed. An encoder offers more production control than a simple mobile or webcam stream. Google’s documentation explains how a continuous feed connects to an ongoing broadcast, but does not prescribe a particular encoder or computer. Pick a workflow you can operate and monitor reliably.
- Create or schedule the broadcast in YouTube Studio. Give it an accurate title and thumbnail, and put essential context near the beginning of the description—for example, what the stream contains and whether it is intended to run continuously. YouTube’s live-streaming setup guide recommends scheduling and clear packaging.
- Run a full private or unlisted test. Send the actual audio and visuals through the complete workflow before announcing the stream. Check the connection, audio levels and clarity, visual framing, playback continuity, and that the correct broadcast receives the feed. Use rights-cleared test content too. YouTube recommends a private or unlisted end-to-end setup test in its music-channel live guide and general live-streaming guide.
- Decide how to handle chat and monitoring. Choose whether live chat will be enabled and arrange moderation if appropriate. Check YouTube Studio for stream health and rights notices during operation; do not treat a successful initial test as a substitute for ongoing monitoring.
- Set an archive policy. Decide whether to retain the broadcast, and make sure your permissions cover that use. YouTube says Content ID claims for archived live streams are made after the stream is complete when the creator chooses to archive it; inspect the resulting archive and any claims.
Keep the stream running and respond to interruptions
A 24/7 stream needs an operational plan, not just a successful launch. Decide who checks YouTube Studio, how often the feed will be reviewed, and who can act if audio or visuals stop or the broadcast is interrupted. The official setup materials explain how to create and test a stream but do not specify a particular failover design or service-level target.

- If YouTube interrupts the stream: check YouTube Studio for a strike, rights notice or other listed issue, then follow the resolution steps shown there. For a music match, contact the rights owner about the channel’s Content ID allowlist status.
- If the feed is silent or visually frozen: inspect the source playlist or file, the encoder or service output, and the broadcast receiving the feed. Compare what YouTube Studio reports with what your source is sending.
- If the stream is stable but the archive is claimed: review the claim and confirm that your archive permission covers the claimed recording and composition. A live-use permission should not be assumed to cover archived use.
- If you cannot verify rights for an item: remove it from the stream until the relevant owner confirms permission. Replacing it with another recording of the same song does not establish that the replacement recording is cleared.

Cost and workflow considerations
A local encoder gives you production control but leaves the computer, software and internet connection in your continuity plan. A cloud workflow avoids keeping a home computer on, but does not remove your responsibility for rights, YouTube setup or monitoring. YouTube’s cited guides do not establish hardware costs or minimum specifications, so compare the actual equipment and operating needs of your chosen setup rather than relying on a universal minimum.
