You can run a continuous Odia songs broadcast from a home PC by sending an encoder feed to YouTube Live Control Room, but only if you have the necessary rights for every song and can keep the PC, power, and internet connection available. First enable live streaming and clear the music rights; then configure, test, and monitor the encoder. A 24-hour stream is not guaranteed to stay uninterrupted or to be archived in full.
Before you start: confirm live access and music rights
Check your channel’s eligibility
In YouTube Studio, enable live streaming before preparing the broadcast. YouTube says first-time activation can take up to 24 hours. The channel must be verified and must not have a live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days; YouTube’s general guidance sets the minimum age for live streaming at 16. Check the current requirements in YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.

Clear every song for a live broadcast
Do not assume that Odia songs are free to stream, that crediting an artist is enough, or that a song that plays without a claim in a test is cleared. Confirm that your rights cover the songs, live streaming, and the territories where viewers may watch. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content; a match can cause a placeholder to replace the feed, and continued use can lead to interruption or termination. If you have a license for third-party content, YouTube says to ask the rights owner to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. A license alone may not prevent a detection-related interruption if the channel has not been allowlisted. See YouTube’s live-streaming copyright guidance.

Set up the YouTube encoder connection

Open YouTube Studio, select Create, then Go Live. In Live Control Room, open the Stream tab and create a stream or select the intended existing one. Follow YouTube’s encoder setup instructions if the interface labels differ.

In your PC encoder, choose YouTube directly if it is offered. Otherwise, copy the server URL and stream key from Live Control Room into the encoder’s server/RTMP and stream-key fields.

Keep the stream key private. Treat it as a credential: do not expose it in a screenshot, recording, or on-screen scene.

Start the encoder feed. For a scheduled stream, wait for the preview to appear in Live Control Room, check the audio, then select Go live when ready. The encoder sends the feed; the Live Control Room preview and Go live flow control its public launch where applicable.

Choose settings your upload connection can sustain
Use YouTube’s current encoder settings, bitrate, and resolution guidance to choose a bitrate for your selected resolution and frame rate. There is no responsible one-size-fits-all bitrate without those settings and a measurement of your home upload connection. YouTube recommends checking upload bitrate with a speed test and selecting a reliable quality for the connection; a conservative setting that leaves headroom is a practical way to reduce the risk of instability.

- Connection: YouTube recommends RTMPS.
- Rate control: Use CBR.
- Keyframes: Set a two-second interval; YouTube says not to exceed four seconds.
- Video: H.264 is among YouTube’s supported codecs. Consult the current settings page for resolution- and frame-rate-specific guidance.
- Audio: AAC or MP3 are supported. YouTube’s advanced-setting recommendation is 128 Kbps stereo audio.
A mostly static image paired with music is a low-motion scene, but YouTube does not publish a special Odia-music or 24-hour encoder profile. Test with representative audio and motion before launching publicly. YouTube Help’s instruction is: “Make sure to test before you start your live stream.” Monitor stream health and any messages in Live Control Room while the broadcast runs.
Keep the home-PC broadcast running
A home-PC stream relies on the PC, the encoder process, power, and home internet remaining available. Configure the computer so it does not sleep during the broadcast, make sure the playlist or media source can continue playing, and arrange to notice if the feed stops. These are practical operating steps, not a YouTube-published hardware specification or uptime guarantee; the official setup guidance does not establish a particular PC configuration for a 24-hour run.

An optional UPS may bridge a brief power interruption, but it cannot fix an internet outage. Plan separately for a recording or replay: YouTube’s encoder instructions say streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That guidance does not establish that a complete 24-hour stream will be archived automatically.
