You can run a continuous Kannada instrumental music stream on YouTube by sending a prepared audio-and-visual feed through a live-stream encoder. Before going public, clear the rights for every recording and visual, verify and enable your channel for live streaming, and test the full setup. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content, so even licensed music can be interrupted if the rights holder has not allowlisted your channel through Content ID.
What you need before starting
- A verified YouTube channel that has had no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days.
- Kannada instrumental recordings you created or have permission to use in a YouTube livestream.
- A visual you created or are authorized to show, such as a static image or custom loop.
- An encoder and host device that meet the encoder’s current requirements, plus a stable internet and power connection.
- A plan to monitor the stream and recover it if delivery stops.
YouTube supports encoder-based streaming, and Google’s Live Streaming API documentation describes a 24/7 feed. That establishes technical feasibility, not a guarantee of uninterrupted service or approval of any particular encoder, hosting arrangement, bitrate, or hardware. The official guidance reviewed does not establish a minimum computer specification or a universal bitrate setting; check the current requirements for the encoder and YouTube setup you choose.

Clear music and visual rights first
Check each recording’s permissions
Instrumental, traditional-sounding, old, or freely available online does not automatically mean a recording is free to rebroadcast. A composition and a particular recording can have different rights holders. Obtain permission that explicitly covers the intended YouTube livestream, the territories where it will be available, whether the broadcast may remain as an archive, and monetization if you plan to monetize it.
Keep written records identifying the tracks, rights holder, permitted uses, territories, and any limits. Apply the same care to cover art, photographs, animations, and other visuals: use your own work or material whose permissions cover this use.

Ask about Content ID allowlisting
YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content. A match can replace the stream with a placeholder image; continued use can lead to temporary interruption or termination. YouTube says creators using licensed third-party music should ask the rights holder to add their channel to its Content ID allowlist. Coordinate with the label, distributor, or other applicable rights holder and confirm that the correct channel is allowlisted before the test stream.
YouTube for Artists advises: “If you’re planning on using copyright-protected music during your live stream, we recommend coordinating with your label or distributor to avoid any issues, such as copyright strikes.” This applies to instrumental tracks too; the absence of vocals does not establish that a track is cleared.

Prepare and test the channel and feed
- Verify the channel and enable live streaming. Complete YouTube’s channel verification and check live-stream eligibility in YouTube Studio. YouTube for Artists recommends enabling a first stream at least 24 hours before it is needed.
- Choose your stream format. YouTube supports horizontal and vertical streams, and its current guidance describes dual streaming through RTMP(S) with a third-party encoder. Horizontal is a natural fit for desktop and TV viewing; vertical can suit phone viewing and may appear in the Shorts feed. YouTube’s feature availability differs by format, so check the current format comparison before choosing. Format does not change the rights requirements.
- Build the feed. Set the encoder to send the prepared instrumental audio and an authorized visual to YouTube. Confirm the encoder’s current output requirements rather than relying on an assumed bitrate, resolution, keyframe interval, or computer specification; none is established as a universal setting here.
- Run an unlisted test. Confirm that YouTube receives the feed, the audio is audible and continuous, the visual is correct, and the stream is not showing warnings. Verify any rights-holder permissions and Content ID allowlisting as part of the test. A clean test does not replace permission.
- Start the public broadcast and monitor it. Watch YouTube Studio for warnings, interruptions, or strikes. Keep a recovery plan for encoder, power, and internet failures. Restarting a stream does not resolve an underlying rights or Content ID issue.
- Review the archive afterward. Decide in advance whether to preserve the completed broadcast. YouTube says archived live streams can receive Content ID claims after the stream finishes; inspect the archive and any claims before treating the broadcast as cleared.
Choose recordings and manage the ongoing workload

For a locally hosted encoder, the computer, power, and internet connection must remain available for the feed to continue. Other encoder-hosting arrangements change where the work runs and may change operating costs and resilience, but the official sources reviewed do not validate a particular vendor. In either case, arrange monitoring and a recovery procedure rather than assuming a 24/7 feed cannot fail.
