To change the fruit your character has equipped, obtain another fruit and eat it; the new fruit replaces the current one, and Haze Seas does not allow two equipped fruits at once. If you want to remove a fruit without eating a replacement, a fan-made guide reports that Doc. White in Logue City offers removal for 5 Gems or 25 Robux, but confirm the NPC, price and service in your live game. The data-reset button is a separate, permanent full-character reset and is not the normal way to change fruits.
Pick the action that matches your goal
“Change my fruit,” “remove my fruit” and “restart my character” are three different operations. Choosing the wrong one can cost currency or erase progress, so decide whether you already have a replacement fruit and whether you need an empty fruit slot at all.

How to replace your equipped fruit
1. Obtain a fruit you are willing to use
You need a second fruit before using the ordinary change method. Haze Seas guides list several ways to obtain one, but availability, rewards and prices can change with updates. Treat the following as routes to check in the current game rather than guaranteed permanent rates:

- Playtime rewards: some playtime milestones can provide fruits.
- Natural world spawns: fruits can appear in the world for players to find.
- Cynthia’s spins: the guide places Cynthia, the fruit dealer, on Starter Island. It says she offers random-fruit spins for cash and for Gems. Check the current price and whether both options are active before spending.
- Promo codes: active codes may award fruits or another route to obtaining one. Codes expire, so use only codes that the game currently accepts.
- Sea events: the guide lists sea-event rewards as another possible source.
Do not spend Gems or Robux on a random spin merely because an older guide lists a particular price. Open the relevant in-game prompt and read the current cost, reward description and confirmation screen first.

2. Eat the replacement fruit
Once the new fruit is in your possession, use the game’s normal eat or consume interaction for that fruit. The fruit guide’s rule is that eating the new fruit replaces the one currently equipped. It does not describe a separate confirmation menu, a character reset or a second equipment slot as part of this process.
Because the replacement is the change itself, check the fruit’s name and any confirmation prompt before accepting. If you are experimenting with a rare or difficult-to-obtain fruit, pause and make sure you are not selecting a consumable you intended to keep for later.
3. Confirm the result before leaving the area
After the eating animation or interaction finishes, open the game’s fruit or character information display and check which fruit is shown as equipped. This check is useful when latency, an interrupted interaction or a server transition makes the result unclear. If the old fruit is still displayed, do not repeatedly consume items; reconnect or move through the game’s normal inventory and character screens, then verify the state again.

Can Haze Seas equip two fruits?
No. The fruit guide states that a character cannot have two fruits equipped at the same time. The practical consequence is that eating a new fruit is a replacement operation, not a way to add a second power while preserving the first one as an active loadout.

That limitation is separate from owning or storing fruit. A fruit that is merely collected is not automatically the fruit your character is using. Keep those concepts separate when deciding whether to eat an item, seek a removal service or investigate storage.
How to remove a fruit without eating another one
Doc. White’s reported service
A Haze Seas NPC reference lists Doc. White in Logue City as a fruit-removal option. It reports a charge of 5 Gems or 25 Robux. The page is a fan-made guide, not an official support or update notice, so use those details as a lead to check rather than a guaranteed transaction.
The same reference is marked last updated August 23, 2026 and labels its game-data snapshot September 11, 2026 ET. Those dates establish when the guide recorded the information; they do not guarantee that the live server on the day you play still has the same NPC, position, wording or price.

- The NPC is in Logue City, or the game provides a current marker or route to the service.
- The dialogue explicitly says the service removes the equipped fruit rather than replacing it or changing another character value.
- The displayed charge is 5 Gems or 25 Robux, or you understand the updated amount.
- The confirmation screen explains what happens after removal and whether the action is reversible.
If any of those details differ, stop and read the prompt carefully. A guide entry can become stale after a rework, and a Robux purchase cannot be assumed to follow the same refund or reversal rules as an in-game currency transaction.
Why the full data reset is the wrong tool for a normal fruit change
Where the reset button is reported to be
The beginner guide directs players to the tavern on Starter Island, then upstairs, where it says to use the data-reset button. The guide describes that control as resetting everything and warns that the action is permanent.
What “reset everything” means for your decision
A full reset is a broad restart of character data. It is not presented as a fruit-only control, and the guide does not provide a narrower setting that lets you preserve progress while clearing one equipped fruit. Pressing it just to change powers exposes the rest of your character data to an action you may not be able to undo.

If your only goal is to move from one fruit to another, obtain the replacement and eat it. If your goal is to have no fruit equipped, investigate the currently available removal service instead.

Collected fruits, death and data reset
The fruit guide says collected fruits persist through death and through a data reset. This statement concerns collected or held fruits; it does not mean the equipped fruit remains active after every other character value is reset, nor does it explain every inventory rule after a reset.
The NPC reference also lists a Fruit Archivist associated with storage. The reviewed guide material does not establish whether a stored fruit can definitely be equipped again, what requirements apply, or whether storage behaves differently after a reset. Do not store a fruit on the assumption that it is a guaranteed backup for a previously eaten power. Check the Archivist’s current dialogue and any displayed requirements in-game.

You have no replacement fruit yet
Do not press the data-reset button as a substitute for finding one. Check the six acquisition routes—new-player reward, playtime reward, world spawn, Cynthia’s spins, promo codes and sea events—in the order that fits your current progress and budget. A route listed by a guide may be unavailable during a particular update, so rely on the active in-game prompt for eligibility and cost.
You ate a fruit but the interface still shows the old one
Allow the interaction to finish, then re-open the fruit or character display. If the server appears out of sync, leave through the game’s normal menu and rejoin, then inspect the displayed equipped fruit before consuming anything else. Avoid treating a delayed interface as proof that a second fruit can be equipped.

Doc. White is missing or does not offer removal
Do not assume that the guide’s location or dialogue is still current. Confirm that you are in Logue City, check whether the NPC has moved after an update, and read the exact dialogue. If no removal option or price is shown, do not pay another NPC or use the full reset merely because a community page mentioned the service.
You are worried about losing a collected fruit
The fruit guide’s stated persistence through death and data reset is reassuring for collected fruits, but the separate storage notes are incomplete. Record what you currently hold, read any storage warning and confirm the post-action inventory in-game. Do not infer that an equipped fruit and a collected fruit have identical behavior.
You returned after a major update
The beginner guide refers to a June 2026 game rework and reports that returning players’ data was preserved. That report does not replace the current reset warning or guarantee that every NPC, reward route and price is unchanged. Recheck the live menus after a rework before making an irreversible choice.
How to judge conflicting guide information
Haze Seas community pages can document useful locations and costs, but they are not the final authority for live game behavior. An unofficial source-status guide updated August 4, 2026 identifies Roblox and Haze Studios as the source of record for official support and updates. Use that distinction when a guide and the game disagree:
- For a purchase price, NPC service or reward, trust the amount and wording shown in the current game prompt.
- For a reset warning, read the confirmation screen in full and treat a permanent warning literally.
- For a mechanic such as replacing an equipped fruit, verify the resulting fruit in your character display after the action.
- For an update or rework, prefer an official announcement or support notice over an undated community summary.
No named developer quotation is needed to perform the change, and there is no established statistic that makes one fruit-change route objectively better for every player. The correct choice depends on whether you already have a replacement, whether you need an empty slot and how much irreversible progress you are willing to risk.
A safe decision checklist
- Define the outcome: replacement fruit, no equipped fruit, or a complete character restart.
- If replacing: obtain the desired fruit, confirm its identity and eat it once.
- If removing: locate Doc. White only if the live game currently offers the service, and verify the displayed Gem or Robux charge before confirming.
- If restarting: travel to the Starter Island tavern, go upstairs and read the data-reset warning. Continue only if you genuinely intend to reset everything.
- After any action: inspect your equipped-fruit display and inventory so you know what changed.
For most players, eating a replacement fruit is the direct, limited-scope solution. The reported Doc. White service is the possible no-replacement alternative, subject to live verification. The tavern’s data-reset button belongs to a separate, permanent restart decision.
