Where to find Meesho’s filings and investor materials
- Start at Meesho Investor Relations. The company’s home page links to its overview, presentations, shareholder letters and quarterly materials.
- Open Financial Results. Use it to locate annual reports, quarterly results, AGM materials and subsidiary financials. The page lists FY 2025–26 and Q1 FY27 materials; open the underlying documents for the reported figures and periods.
- Check IPO Disclosures. It lists the offer documents, including the updated draft red herring prospectus, red herring prospectus and prospectus, as well as FY23–FY25 financial statements.
- Compare like with like. Confirm whether each figure is consolidated or standalone, its reporting period, units, segment definition and accounting basis. Look for restatements and changes in KPI calculation before comparing periods.
Use the latest annual report and interim results for current performance, and the offer documents for historical context. A page listing a report is a route to the evidence, not a substitute for reading the report itself.

What Meesho does and how it says it earns revenue
Meesho describes itself as a multi-sided technology platform connecting consumers, sellers, logistics partners and content creators. Its Red Herring Prospectus (RHP) identifies Marketplace and New Initiatives as reportable segments. Marketplace includes the platform connecting sellers and buyers, advertising, and logistics and fulfilment. New Initiatives include a low-cost local logistics network for daily essentials and digital financial services. Check the latest annual report for current segment labels: the RHP says internal reporting was realigned for FY25. Read the RHP.

The RHP says marketplace revenue includes services to sellers such as fulfilment, advertising and seller insights. It also says Meesho began charging logistics partners a platform facilitation fee for orders fulfilled through Valmo on March 15, 2025. That change matters when interpreting revenue trends: a year-over-year increase may reflect a changed revenue source as well as changes in orders or monetization. Check how the company describes and reports the fee in each period before drawing a conclusion.

What the historical figures show—and what they do not
The following FY24 and FY25 figures are reported in search-indexed excerpts of the RHP. Confirm the figures, units and definitions in the linked document before relying on them. The fiscal years ended March 31.
| Measure | FY24 | FY25 |
|---|---|---|
| Marketplace GMV | ₹400.38 billion | ₹503.12 billion |
| Marketplace NMV | ₹232.41 billion | ₹299.88 billion |
| Total segment revenue | Not stated in the cited RHP excerpt | ₹93,899.03 million |
| Segment results | Not stated in the cited RHP excerpt | Negative ₹2,195.91 million |
| Restated loss before tax | Not stated in the cited RHP excerpt | Negative ₹14,548.63 million |
These lines are not interchangeable. GMV and NMV are marketplace operating measures; total segment revenue is not the same measure as marketplace GMV or NMV. Segment results are not statutory net profit or free cash flow. FY25 loss before tax is a statutory-accounting measure, and the RHP excerpt notes a large exceptional item. Read the statements and reconciliations to understand the bridge between segment results and loss before tax, including finance costs, depreciation, employee share-based payment expense, exceptional items and other income.

How to assess growth quality
Separate orders, users and sellers from delivered value
Meesho’s Investor Relations home page reports 274 million+ annual transacting users, 1.04 million+ annual transacting sellers and 2.83 billion+ placed orders for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. These are company-reported operating figures, not independently verified market estimates or evidence of profitability. Treat each measure according to the company’s stated definition and period; in particular, do not assume the placed-order figure is an annual total. See the company’s dated operating snapshot.
For each reporting period, compare orders and transacting users with repeat activity, seller activity and delivered value. A rise in placed orders or GMV does not by itself show how much value was successfully delivered, how much revenue Meesho retained or what it cost to serve those orders.

Keep GMV and NMV distinct
GMV and NMV measure different things. In its shareholder letter, CEO Vidit Aatrey defines NMV as the cumulative checkout value of successfully delivered marketplace orders, inclusive of taxes. Compare both measures using the company’s definition for each period, and investigate any change in the calculation. A gap between GMV and NMV makes delivery outcomes relevant to the growth story; it is not, on its own, an explanation of why the gap exists. Read the shareholder letter.
Check transaction economics, not just revenue growth
The CEO describes Contribution Margin as “our unit economics profitability metric.” In the letter, the company defines it as marketplace revenue earned from sellers, net of costs directly attributable to placed orders. This is a management-defined, non-statutory measure, not an accounting-standard profit measure. Track it alongside NMV and order growth, and inspect the definition and reconciliation for each period. Also compare fulfilment cost per order, marketing and other variable costs to see whether growth is accompanied by improving transaction economics or rising costs.

How to judge profit and cash generation
Read the statutory statements alongside management metrics
Use the income statement to establish statutory revenue and profit or loss, then reconcile those results with segment reporting and management measures. Examine finance costs, depreciation, share-based payment expense, exceptional items and other income rather than treating an adjusted result or segment figure as a substitute for statutory performance. Check whether an exceptional item is one-off or recurring before deciding how much it changes the interpretation of a period.

Follow cash through working capital and investment
Compare operating cash flow, working-capital movements and capital expenditure over a trailing period, then calculate or review free cash flow using a clearly stated definition. The CEO’s letter says EBITDA does not capture capital expenditure and working-capital requirements, and argues for examining free cash flow. Management writes: “We will not pretend that accounting profits are the same as cash generation.” Treat that as management’s framing, then test it against audited cash-flow statements and reconcile any company-presented free-cash-flow measure to those statements. See the shareholder letter.

Build a period-by-period comparison
Make a consistent worksheet for FY23, FY24, FY25 and the latest reported interim periods. Record each metric’s source, units, period, consolidated or standalone basis, and definition. Use the annual report and quarterly materials linked from Financial Results; use the IPO Disclosures page for offer-document history.
- Orders, users, sellers and repeat activity.
- GMV alongside NMV, with any definition changes flagged.
- Marketplace and New Initiatives revenue and results.
- Contribution Margin and fulfilment cost per order.
- Marketing and other variable costs.
- Statutory profit or loss and the effects of exceptional items, other income and share-based compensation.
- Operating cash flow, working capital, capital expenditure and free cash flow.
- Dilution, governance, concentration and disclosed risks.
The central analytical test is whether delivered value and user activity grow alongside better transaction economics and cash generation, or whether growth depends on continuing subsidy and rising costs. That is a framework for evaluating the filings, not a conclusion about Meesho’s investment merits.
What to check before making an investment decision
Read the offer documents and current filings for use of proceeds, risk factors, related-party disclosures, share-based compensation, dilution and changes in shareholding. Consider whether the company’s risk disclosures, governance information and capital needs fit your own assessment. The available figures here do not establish Meesho’s latest audited revenue, profit, balance-sheet position, valuation or share price; those require checking the current filings and market data directly. This method helps organize the evidence, but it is not a buy or sell recommendation.
