Which reporting route should you use?
AION 2’s global English Operation Policy separates player-conduct reports from account support. Choose the route that matches the problem rather than submitting the same issue through every available form.

Do not use a conduct report to appeal your own restriction. The policy gives appeals their own process and deadline.

What behavior can be reported?
The Operation Policy’s sanctions table names several categories relevant to bots and gold sellers. Your report should connect the observed facts to one of these categories without claiming certainty about the player’s intent.
Gold farming and bot operations
The policy covers commercial use of multiple accounts, unauthorized programs or multiple-account gambling used to unfairly obtain, transfer, or monetize items, and other abnormal activity detected by AION 2’s internal systems. Repeated actions that appear automated, coordinated farming across many characters, or unusual item and currency transfers can be relevant observations.
A single fast action, repeated route, or unusual name is not conclusive by itself. Explain the pattern you actually saw instead of diagnosing the player as a bot.
Use of unauthorized programs
The policy separately prohibits programs or equipment that circumvent technical protection or enable actions unavailable to regular users. If you directly observed behavior that appears impossible through normal controls, describe the action, its frequency, and the circumstances. Do not install software, attempt to access another player’s account, or use a third-party tool to test your suspicion.
Real-money trading and gold-selling advertisements
Real-money trading (RMT) includes trading in-game items or currency for money, goods, or services. The policy also covers attempted or advertised RMT. A direct advertisement, a stated price, a payment method, or a message offering Kinah or Quna for something outside the game is more useful to investigators than a general statement that a player “looks suspicious.”
How the categories can overlap
One incident may fit more than one policy category. For example, a character repeatedly farming in an automated pattern may be relevant to bot operations, while a chat message offering the resulting Kinah for cash is a separate RMT observation. A seller may advertise without completing a transaction, and the policy still lists attempted or advertised RMT. Report each connected fact in the same incident description rather than guessing which label the team will ultimately apply.
Do not treat the policy category as a verdict. Internal systems may detect abnormal activity that is not visible to another player, and investigators can consider information you do not have. Your role is to provide a clear lead, not to prove how an account works or who controls it.
What to collect before submitting a report
Gather enough information for an investigator to locate the incident, but do not put your account at risk or pursue the suspected seller.

- Character name and server: Copy the name exactly, including unusual capitalization or characters if the form allows it.
- Location: Record the map, channel, instance, or other in-game location where the conduct occurred.
- Approximate time: Include the date, time, and time zone when you can. A narrow time window is more useful than “earlier today.”
- Observed actions: Describe the sequence, repetition, targeting pattern, movement, combat behavior, or transaction you personally witnessed.
- Advertisement or message details: Quote the relevant wording and identify where it appeared, such as chat, a listing, or a private message.
- Related identifiers: Add other character names or transaction references only when they are directly connected to the same incident.
- Evidence handled safely: If the reporting form accepts attachments, provide unedited screenshots or other material requested by the form. Do not share passwords, authentication codes, payment-card details, or unrelated private messages.
Separate observation from interpretation. “The character repeated the same route and skill sequence for 25 minutes without responding to nearby players” is stronger and safer than “This is definitely a bot.”
Prioritize evidence investigators can verify
Start with the facts that identify the account and narrow the search: exact name, server, map, channel, and time window. Then describe the behavior in order. If the incident involved a sale, record whether it was a public advertisement, private message, listing, or completed exchange; quote the offer and note the currency or item named. If several characters were involved, explain the connection you actually observed, such as a direct transfer or coordinated movement, instead of asserting that they share an owner.
Keep original files unchanged. Cropping a screenshot to highlight a message may be useful for your own notes, but retain the complete original if the form accepts attachments or support later asks for context. Never fabricate, edit, or combine images to make an accusation appear stronger.

- Open the official AION 2 website. Use the site’s Report section, which the Operation Policy identifies for abusive users and other game-service matters.
- Select the conduct-report category that best fits. Choose the closest available option for botting, gold farming, unauthorized programs, RMT, or another abusive-user issue. Do not select an unrelated account-support category simply because it is easier to find.
- Enter the player identifiers. Provide the character name, server, and any other identifier the form requests. Check spelling before sending.
- Describe the incident chronologically. State what happened first, how often it repeated, where it occurred, and when you observed it. Identify direct advertisements or offers with their exact wording where practical.
- Distinguish facts from suspicion. Use phrases such as “I observed” and “This may indicate” when the conclusion is uncertain. Do not accuse a player of criminal conduct or claim that an investigation has already confirmed a violation.
- Attach only relevant material. Remove passwords, one-time codes, payment information, and unrelated personal data. Keep the original files in case support asks for clarification.
- Review and submit once. Confirm the character name, time, location, and description, then send the report. If you later obtain genuinely new information, add it through the supported channel rather than creating a stream of identical submissions.
- Keep your expectations realistic. A report begins a review. It does not establish guilt, disclose another player’s case details, or promise a particular sanction.
Example of a useful report description
You can adapt the following wording to the facts you actually observed:
“On [date] at approximately [time and time zone], I observed character [name] on [server] in [location]. From [start time] to [end time], the character repeated [specific route, targeting pattern, skill sequence, or other observable action] approximately [frequency]. The character did not respond to normal interaction. At [time], the same character posted or sent: ‘[exact advertisement text].’ I am reporting the observed behavior for review; I cannot confirm the player’s intent.”
Delete any sentence that you cannot support from your own observation. A shorter, precise report is preferable to speculation about ownership, motives, or a network of accounts.
What makes a report weak?
Reports are harder to evaluate when they contain only an insult, a player name with no server, a screenshot with no time or context, or a conclusion such as “everyone in this party is cheating.” A defeat, an unusually efficient build, silence in chat, or a character name that resembles another account is not proof of a policy violation. Include those details only if they are part of a larger, directly observed pattern.

Those actions can expose your account and payment details while adding little reliable evidence. Leave detection and account-link analysis to the game team.

What happens after you report?
The Operation Policy describes the enforcement path as “Terms violation → (Report) → Investigation → (Pre-notification) → Sanction → Appeal → Notification of appeal result.” That sequence explains why you may not receive an immediate decision.

Because sanctions can depend on the circumstances and service impact, do not tell other players that a report will definitely result in a ban. The absence of a visible action also does not show that a report was ignored.
The policy says re-investigations may occur, so a case is not necessarily settled simply because you do not see an immediate change. Investigators may compare your report with logs, other reports, and internal detection. That is also why several similar reports do not guarantee a faster response or a particular penalty.

Do not weaponize the report system
False-report abuse is itself listed in the sanctions table. The policy gives as examples falsely reporting a legitimate user for unauthorized-program use and repeatedly submitting identical inquiries to disrupt normal operations. It lists a three-day sanction for a first offense and seven days for a second offense.
- Submit one accurate report for one incident.
- Do not report a player merely because they outperformed you, declined to answer, or used an unfamiliar build.
- Do not coordinate mass reports to pressure the team into a predetermined result.
- If you have new, material information, add it through the supported channel instead of copying the original submission repeatedly.
The safest standard is simple: report what you can identify and describe, then let the investigation determine whether it violates the policy.
Buying currency is also prohibited
The AION 2 Team warns: “Buying Kinah or Quna from unauthorized parties is strictly against our Terms of Service and will be met with swift consequences up to and including the termination of access to the game.” This is an official warning against purchasing currency from unauthorized sellers. It is not a promise that every buyer or seller will receive an identical penalty.
If a seller approaches you, preserve the relevant advertisement or message only if you can do so safely, report the conduct through the website’s Report section, and do not continue negotiating or send payment. Never provide login credentials or authentication codes to someone offering currency.
Buying from an unauthorized seller can also expose you to scams, account theft, charge disputes, or currency reversals. The safest response is to stop the conversation, secure your account through official channels if you clicked a suspicious link, and report the message without attempting to recover money through the suspected seller.

If your own account is restricted or locked
An official AION 2 Team announcement dated October 12 PDT / October 13 CEST reported that 10,000 accounts had been restricted after review for botting or gold farming, unauthorized programs, RMT, and economy abuse. The team stated: “Restrictions are only applied after review, in line with the Operation Policy.” This figure describes that time-specific enforcement action; it is not a measure of the current number of bots or sellers.
Restriction believed to be an error
If you believe an account restriction was applied incorrectly, submit a ticket through Customer Support. The announcement says each request is reviewed individually. Include the account identifier, the restriction message, when access changed, and any relevant context. Do not open repeated tickets with identical text.
Temporary security lock
The same announcement describes a temporary security lock as a precaution used to protect an account while a possible security risk is checked, rather than as a penalty. Follow the support instructions for identity or security verification and avoid sharing credentials in an unrequested channel.
A security lock and a conduct sanction are therefore not interchangeable. Explain whether you received a lock, a suspension, or another message, and quote the wording accurately. Customer Support can route the matter appropriately; a player-conduct report cannot unlock your account.
Deadlines that matter

These deadlines apply to the procedures identified in the policy. A normal conduct report about another player is not described as an appeal; use the Report section for that purpose and Customer Support for your own account matter.
If you plan to appeal, do not wait for a conduct-report response. Note the sanction date, preserve the notice, and file through Customer Support within the 15-day window. For account theft, count the separate 15-day period from the incident date, inclusive, as specified by the policy.
Practical checklist
- Am I using the website’s Report section for a suspected conduct violation?
- Did I copy the character name and server accurately?
- Did I include the location and a useful date and time?
- Did I describe observable actions rather than assert an unproven motive?
- Did I quote any RMT advertisement or offer accurately?
- Did I remove passwords, authentication codes, payment details, and unrelated personal information?
- Am I submitting one accurate report rather than repeated duplicates?
- If the issue concerns my own restriction, am I using Customer Support and observing the 15-day appeal window?
