What you need before starting the South Brae disk puzzle
First obtain the South Brae House Key from the Lost and Found prompt on the CEG employee-locker office computer. The prompt code is 772. At 5 South Brae, collect the Disk Case Key from the upstairs bedroom drawer. Use that key on the disk case beside the computer safe, then use it again on the container in the Atlas Computers side room to get Fix-A-Disk.
Repair disk 2 and unzip the three-disk archive
- At the South Brae computer, run Fix-A-Disk. When prompted to scan a disk, remove the software disk and insert disk 2. Keep the scan prompt open during the swap; do not cancel it.
- Select Repair Volume. When the repair finishes, remove disk 2.
- Insert disk 1 and choose Unzip to RAM.
- When prompted, insert disks 2 and then 3, in that order.
Print MANUAL.EML and open the house safe
Switch on the printer as well as the computer, then print MANUAL.EML and collect the document. Enter 956 in the nearby South Brae House safe to retrieve the Locker 17 barcode.
