Use the controls for the service and profile where you watched the title—and choose the right action: deleting recorded activity, removing a Continue Watching tile, or clearing data stored on a device are different tasks.
First, identify what you want to remove
Watch history is the account or profile’s record of what was played. Continue Watching is a row of titles you can resume. A Watchlist or My Stuff collection contains titles you saved. Device cache is temporary data stored on a particular device.

Removing a tile from Continue Watching does not, by itself, establish that the service deleted the underlying account history. Likewise, removing a title from a Watchlist or clearing device cache is not a way to erase viewing activity. Choose the service-specific control below that matches your goal.
YouTube: delete activity, pause collection, or set auto-delete
For a signed-in account, open YouTube History in Google My Activity, then select Manage history. YouTube documents removing an individual video, deleting a selected group or time range, pausing history, and setting Auto-delete.

- Remove existing activity: delete an individual video or select a group or period to delete.
- Stop future entries temporarily: pause watch history. Videos watched while it is paused will not appear in history; pausing does not delete earlier activity.
- Automate future cleanup: use the Auto-delete control in YouTube History.
Take care with a selected-period deletion: YouTube says it also deletes YouTube search history from that period. TV and gaming-console versions have pause and clear options in Settings, but labels and navigation vary by interface; the web route above is the clearest documented path.
Netflix: view a profile’s activity before choosing a removal action
Netflix documents how to inspect a profile’s viewing activity and download it, but the available official instructions cited here do not establish a current deletion workflow or how long a removal takes to take effect. Do not assume that removing a title from a viewing row deletes its activity record.

- In a web browser, open the Netflix Account page.
- Under Profiles, choose the profile you want to check.
- Open Viewing activity. Select Show More to expand the limited list, or Download all to export the activity to a CSV-compatible spreadsheet.
If the account is no longer active, Netflix says viewing history can be accessed by downloading account information. Check Netflix’s current help instructions for removal controls before relying on a click-by-click deletion procedure.
Hulu: remove a title from Continue Watching
Hulu’s documented option is to remove a specific show or movie from the Continue Watching collection on Home using Remove from Watch History. Hulu says each profile has its own viewing history and recommendations. See Hulu’s explanation of personalization features and profile management.

Hulu also offers broad profile-clearing and profile-deletion actions. Clearing profiles affects profile-associated watch history, preferences, and settings, except for the primary profile; deleting a profile is irreversible. These account-management actions are not a suitable substitute for removing one title.
Prime Video: confirm the current control before following steps
Prime Video Support lists Watch History under Settings, but the detailed instructions and current click path are not established here. Open the official support hub and confirm the available controls for your account rather than relying on an older third-party walkthrough.

Disney+: do not confuse cache or Watchlist controls with history deletion
The Disney+ help pages available here explain clearing device cache and data and managing the Watchlist, but do not establish a current control for deleting viewing history. Disney+ describes Watchlist entries as manually saved and distinguishes that list from Continue Watching. Cache clearing is device troubleshooting, not evidence that account history was erased. Apple TV+: current history controls are not established here
No authoritative Apple support instructions for clearing Apple TV+ watch history are established by the available material. That is not proof that no control exists. Check Apple’s current support information for your device and account before taking action.
